  1. You probably wouldn't like the game anyways, it's not an RPG. Well, actually, it was. Level upping characters, merchants, xp points, etc. Plenty of RPG elements for sure anyways. The closest to X-COM I've experienced was Fallout Tactics(for PC) which was deeper but without research or aliens, unless mutants count as aliens. UFO Aftermath and Aftershock were ambitious duds, the more recent one came very close to light the torch again but in the end it's just so boring. I do consider them sequels to UFO: Enemy Unknown, which was X-COM in Europe(and, oddly, in Canada - Qc - as well).
  2. The Prestige Most of the film keeps you guessing but there is a point where everything is easily discovered but the movie tries to keep you guessing anyway which seems pathetic to me. It's a very good film nonetheless however with great images and great acting, although I thought Ms. Johanssen's character was somewhat wasted. 8/10
  3. But there's also mermaid!
  4. He's not a thug...
  5. What bums me the most with Lost are the multiple long breaks. I mean a 4 months mid-season break? WTF!? And I also think it's a show that would benefit from one or two 2 hours episodes a season. Like with the mid-season comeback, we hadn't seen it in 4 months and we get a 45 minute show with another cliffhanger and that episode felt more like a "Previously on Lost" than an actual episode, focusing on 3 characters and pretty much forgetting about the 48 others waiting in the jungle. It's just frustrating.
  6. I get creeped out when swimming in any natural body of water where I can't feel or see the bottom. I always think that something is about to creep up from the darkness below and grab my ankles. :'(
  7. The Departed also. First, the title is appropriate... Second... WOW! Probably the best cops & robbers film I've ever seen. Serious, smart, gritty, realistic, well written, well shot... I mean... wow.
  8. This is where Stephen Hawking's book A Brief History Of Time comes into play. http://www.4815162342.com/forum/viewtopic....ghlight=hawking Basically when he turned the key, Desmond temporarily pulled past, present and future into one. I think he died when he fell off that ladder but came back and then died again when he got hit by the paddle. I think they all died and they're all in purgatory or something. Doesn't Satan have 4 toes?

    Cars

Cars don't kill people. Bad, stupid, distracted, reckless drivers do. Same thing with guns.
  13. What do you mean by "now"? I think it takes super strength to rip people apart out of one's bare hands and she's done it before. As for "no Peter", maybe he was invisible?
  14. But is there something in the search window or just... nothing?
  15. I have a headache.
  16. But they can
  17. Everybody knows Caesarion is Pullo's son! :D
  18. She married Marc Anthony and had a child with him. I always thought she went for Ceasar and in light of the show I found this very interesting.
  19. I do. I really do. I miss those days... :D
  20. It is Cicero, one of the more famous Orator of Roman history. His fate will be revealed very soon methinks, like next episode. I've been reading some Roman history lately and it is fascinating how close the show follows it. According to what historians have said, some very interesting things are about to happen on the show. The ending of last sunday's episode was a really good cliffhanger. It's the best show on TV right now imho, just above BSG and Heroes.
  21. A Helo-centric episode. It's about time. Filler indeed and one of more sleep-inducing ones to date. Anyone saw the "bonus" scene?
  22. What if the entire surface of the planet is destroed and no living thing survives except for whats in the vault? If no one is there to jump start the life creation process, how is having this vault usefull? There needs to be some sort of automatic incubation process that would bring the ova to maturity, allow growth of the embrio until a living, breathing human being pops out of a tank or something. Hehe, you better also develop a robot that will teach those people about life or that living, breathing human isnt even going to know how to wipe its own butt much less restock the Earth. Irrelevant. Humans have evolved since the stone age, they can do it again.
