  1. I plan on getting that. I hear you can build, and use a deathstar I wanna blow up that gungun world. I despise Jar Jar <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Gungan world is Naboo. I am playing Empire at War right now(well, when I'm off my stupid job). It's a good Star Wars RTS game but nothing all that original. When you build units, they don't come out of a hangar or something. You need to call them, like reinforcements and then a dropship lands with your units. It takes a few seconds so you have to plan it right or you'll get crushed. The first mission(Rebels) has you protecting R2 & 3P0 with infantry while a swarm of AT-STs attack you, supported by legions of stormtroopers. (w00t) Space battles are very standard and that first one is very easy.
  2. @Architect. Put me up for K please. thank you.
  3. It'll only get worse before it gets better. The stereotyping right alongside the mindless killing. What really puts things in perspective is this: if I said half the things I say here, or in my country, in that section of the world, I'd of been shot, tortured, or worse. For all the faults of the U.S. I can at least say I wont be gunned down in the street on my way to Wendy's for having dissenting religious views. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> For now. Your freedoms are being eroded.
  4. lol Iranian trained and equiped foreign fighters anyone..... " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Canadian rebels. (w00t)
  5. Well technically Vader does kill Obi. However it was more like suicide on Obi's part. And how does Obi become more powerful than Vader could ever imagine?
  6. And patches are free. Which will never be the case with Console game patching if the internet service stays the same.
  7. As much as this is almost definitely untrue, this statement really freaks me out, although anyone saying it scares me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> When it does happen this year, or in the begging of the next which is highly unlikely, remember my words.....they'll all say lucky guess, but.... ON TOPIC: How the hell the terrorist got Iraqi army commando uniforms and neccessary identification, equipment, intelligence, resources and expertise to pull of something like this....these are no ordinary 'insurgents'. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They are CIA agents
  8. Thanks. Hum.... What IS a jibe?
  9. *Wait for a on-topic Star Wars violin*
  10. So can he fly or what?
  11. That was a gibe at Michael Moore, right? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Meh. How do you pronounce gibe?
  12. Bush is not an idiot. He is a heartless, corrupted warmongerererer. I would not be surprised to see him keep power by force once his term is up. And then we will have WWIII. (w00t) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Bush is an idiot. His cabinet pulls the strings, not him. He's just a figurehead who was chosen specifically for his idiocy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And who pulls the strings of his cabinet? The Saudis.
  13. How DID Obiwan managed to cut off 3 limbs off of Darth Vader with one slash of his lightsaber? I think there might have been a second swordsman... Vader would kick Malak's butt.
  14. The circle of life? It's still the best stupid show on tv. But if it wasn't Superman it would've been pulled out a long time ago.
  15. Bush is not an idiot. He is a heartless, corrupted warmongerererer. I would not be surprised to see him keep power by force once his term is up. And then we will have WWIII. (w00t)
  16. I started playing it last night. I'm going through the tutorial first as I was never very good at RTSs. Seems interesting but I find that there is not enough difference between land battles and space battles. It's basically the same thing with a different "ground" image/backdrop. Instead of grass/sand you have space and you are still in a top-down isometric view, no 3rd dimension. And not enough exploration opportunities. Seems ok to me though. Better than other Star Wars RTSs anyways.
  17. Sith Lord Magnificent! Of all those who have come to me, you are the most worthy. Under my tutelage, you may become a Sith lord - even the one true Dark Lord of the Sith. Only you recognize that morality is for fools and weaklings. You were born to bend the galaxy to your will. You may even restore the Sith Empire to its rightful glory. As you learn from the dark side and become its master, be mindful of one thing: If you fail, the dark side will devour you alive. Bow before me weaklings! For I am Darth Astr0creep!
  18. Ok. To get back on topic : There should be Jedis and Sith in KOTOR3
  19. Yes, Lana should've died in Reckoning along with Jonathan. But the writers have proven that they are too stupid to fill an episode when that relationship isn't in jeopardy. And why can't Clark tell her his secret now? The sacrifice has been made and she won't go to Lex if Clark finally trusts her. She goes to Lex to fill that gap in her relationship with Clark. Last leg.
  20. What did you hate about it ? And I'd keep away from Darque if I were you she might bite you if she hears that :D I thought covenent was a lot better than the first one anyway. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I found it bland, repetitive and boring and that was enough to turn me away from it. I didn't like the main character either, like a jerky Cloud Strife(although I love Cloud). I liked the combat system and the setting though but the story, well I didn't play enough of it to like it, due to the repetitiveness. Pacing was too slow as well. I felt like a was playing a pale copy of Final Fantasy 7. And if Darque wants to hurt me... I'll PM her my phone number and address...
  21. Well all credit to the makers of Suikoden III. I dont think it would be particularly bad. The number of outcomes are not infinite by any means. Well KOTOR and KOTOR II average at that or less, and Jade Empire at about half that so thats the benchmark that seemed appropriate. 100 hours is tough to pull off unless you introduce a lot of time sinks. I'd guess at that point your looking at more than one DVD. FFX I played and got 90 something same with FFIX I'd guess ShadowHearts:Covenenet would be around that , or more since I was pushing 90 and still didnt complete everything (Thats on 2 DVD's btw). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I never tried Covenant because I hated the first Shadow Hearts.
  22. False statement : In my restaurant, only Black People are made dish washers. Is that controversial?
  23. That's not a bad idea. But I don't want to think about the implications it has for QA And 40 hours is too short for any RPG. There should at least be the possibility of 100 hours of gameplay.
  24. I've been called a nutjob for saying the exact same thing last week. But your way of writing is better.
  25. Played Battlefront2 months ago If you mean the SW version. Too similiar to the first for my tastes and I dont much care about the EPI-III stuff so the campaign was kind of dull for the most part. The big question though did you have to patch them <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I patched EaW yes. Took 5 minutes. I see your point concerning patches and I do wish they were non-existant but thats the market. And to me it's worth it because I just have so much more fun on PC. And Battlefront2 is much better than the first, which was a complete bore. #2 has Jedis, from Ayla Secuda to Darth Vader with and without the suit. The single player campaign starts at the beginning of Ep 3 until the Battle of Hoth. You have ground and space battles during which you can enter the hangar of enemy capital ships, get out of your Tie Interceptor and sabotage a Mon Calamari cruiser. It's a great Star Wars game.
