I only got about 20 minutes in today. I wanted to redo the Pickup mission but I didn't have a save until after a certain decision so I decided to start over and try playing the Nomad start. I might go back to my Corpo game but my it save before that mission was like 3 levels and a dozen or so gigs earlier. Need to make more manual saves from now on as quick and auto aren't cutting it.

I pre-loaded fine but then I've had to reinstall for every patch because they all repeatedly failed

Yep, patches failing to install. 3 times now I've had to install this game to get it working so I'm rolling with the offline installers and patches now and uninstalling Galaxy.

Starting to hate Galaxy. I've had issues with every patch for this game and have also had issues with patching other games.

I'm also playing as a dude. I've not tried to run around naked but I did look like a Ken doll the one time I looked in the mirror. I was fully clothed but I guess the mirror is x-ray and had the dong removal upgrade.

Has anyone found the quickload key? I know quicksave is f5

I just meant for this game. Maybe they can optimize it further or something since even people with the best rigs are getting some major dips from what I've read. I finally got some hours in today and I like it a lot but maybe not quite as much as I was hoping. That could change a lot as I keep playing. I don't like driving so far and actively avoid it and I've only seen two bugs that I've noticed. One guy was driving Wonder Woman's invisible car and someone else was T posing near my apartment. I'm currently on the fence on brain dancing I like the combat so far and am digging all the side content. I've mostly been running around and doing gigs and hacking stuff for fun and profit. It looks gorgeous to me and so far plays buttery smooth on my rig but I'm playing at 1080 not 2160 or even 1440 so that helps. I'd need new monitors for that anyway and I don't have eddies.

Thanks for that. I still haven't started playing yet but I'd imagine that you'd at least have to have the hardware to get Neo in your brain housing unit.

That sucks but it's been known for a while that last gen consoles couldn't handle that many NPCs walking around. Personally, I'm not sure they should have bothered but I guess they ran the numbers and figured the money would outweigh the disappointment.

Can't they be punished for filing all these frivolous lawsuits? Or are TV law shows letting me down once again?

I have 240GB free and it's telling me not enough space to download the patch

Just speaking for myself, I don't think they should be mum about it but some of the videos and articles that I've come across focus a lot on it. Sometimes it seems like the primary focus.

So GOG is trying to download only 241 MB this time but man is it taking forever

This. I think it's all well and good that reviewers want to give a heads-up on the bugs that they've encountered but the ones that are hung up on it knowing that they aren't playing the same version of the game that the rest of us are getting seems disingenuous to me.

Can anyone recommend any decent PC-centric gaming news/reviews sites, channels, and whatnots? I mostly use this place for that but sometimes I want something a little more in-depth. Bonus points if it's not overly political or anything like that.

I usually cook dinner 3 to 5 times a week depending on how much leftovers we have and how much we order stuff. I only cook (and eat) breakfast on Sundays and my wife makes her own breakfast the rest of the time. I used to cook food for my dogs too with whatever discount stuff they had at the grocery store but it's rare that I do that anymore.
