Why didn't Obsidian post a mod to the game at a later date making the ending alot better??? adding more to the game?? or is that just a ridicules idea to even think that, the people that make the game, should fix it?? or is LA that much of a hard ball company they wouldn't let them?? Just something I was wandering, as I dont know anything about this stuff...

<{POST_SNAPBACK}> now I see how the NGE gets so many supporters in SWG.. lmao I wouldn't put it past SOE at all to do something like that... its weird you would talk to most people in game and they would say how much they hate the NGE, but in the forums you kept getting these people from no where loving it.. then a horde of people that hated it would post.. it was weird.. almost like SOE loved to keep the forums all riled up, and 2 months later its still a flame war over there..

yep yep.. the original was good, but the remake of it is alot better.. to me its not like a tv series you would normally watch.. its almost like watching a movie each week.. :D very well done.. I hope the star wars tv series they are talking about doing, is as good...

I mean, hey, the spelling's totally different Yeah, I'm not a fan of WoD's penchant for quaint and cutesy spellings or, on the other hand, for bits of ye olde englishe, used to differentiate fundamental game concepts, myself. VtM is at its best when it's ripping off Anne Rice wholesale. But wherever it strays from simply ripping off Rice and turning her world into RPG material, I tend to like it less. That's not because I'm an Anne Rice fan. All in all, I think White Wolf is a better RPG publisher than Rice is a good writer (and I would just barely call her a 'good writer' at all). But the cases of unique setting and world-specific vocabulary in VtM is for me probably its biggest lacking. And how a setting is written does matter. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't read her books but I love the movies.. queen of the damned was a really good... :cool:

ahh Ravenloft, back when AD&D was fun hehe... have they put Ravenloft in to the 3.5 version of D&D.. I haven't played in years... and what is the difference of this 3.5 to 3.0.. I got the 3.0 books, is there a big difference??

LOL, sorry man, but that doesn't mean anything... I played SWG (Star Wars Galaxies) for 2 years and it started out that way.. was supposed to be very few jedi in the game.. when it I had enough of soe's (Sony Online Entertainment) crap there was 90% jedi in the game cause the devs made jedi a starting profession.. any ways, just cause its supposed to be one way or another, means nothing to a company as long as it makes them money... But as for a MMO vampire game... I am all for it... as long as SOE has nothing to do with it.... that could be a real sweat game.. do it off of underworld or something.. have 3 factions fighting for world dominance.. or something of that nature... vampire's.. werewolf's.. and a mix of both... with humans around the world as every ones prey... but you could even have vampire's fighting vampire's, and werewolf's fighting werewolf's also... for there own leadership.. not sure on all that but just some ideas...

I sadly wouldnt hold your breath. With the so-so sales of both (reasons which are another topic) I do not think another developer would jump to make another one anytime soon. Perhaps a few years to let the memories fade and if a company such as Obsidian or other publisher who isnt afraid to dive in mature content try again. I do think you CAN have a successful vampire rpg game. Its just the right elements in the last 2 attempts have not been in place. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't understand why every one keeps saying these games were flops.. kotor 1 and 2 where really good games.. and bloodlines was a good game also... My main thing was I didn't ever see anything on Vampire Masquerade.. maybe lack of advertisement.... but I heard from a friend on the game.. and went to walmart and got it for $14.. very cheap... seems to me every one might be getting to where they have to have the best of everything... these games aren't all that bad... but maybe I am from a time when I started on atari and nintendo.. I am kind of getting the feeling people want to much from games now days... hell back when I first started out gaming it was pack man and donkey kong, and asteroids. then Dragons Lair came out.. that was a great game in its time.... we have gone way past stuff like that.. people should look back at these games and be happy we are where we are now.. but that's just me lol.. to me Vampire Masquerade BloodLines was a really good game and I had alot of fun playing it... so did my wife and several of our friends that checked it out after I found out about it.. they went and got it also after they saw it at my house. since it was so cheap.. but that could come from us all playing D&D together...

so basically no one knows, or has heard any rumors on any new game yet??? that sucks... almost like waiting for k3... lol

does anybody know about there being a kotor3 is it going to be made <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There isn't any confirmation of k3 being made yet man.. sorry... and don't let some of the vets around here bug yea.. they don't seem to like seeing these questions asked.. and the mods here really don't do much about it.. so just ignore them.. when info is released on K3 if any, I am sure it will spread fast..

pretty good ideas.. the master/apprentice might be hard to put in to a mmo but a rpg shouldnt be to hard... at least they never put it in to swg.. and every one asked for it..
