  1. The whole fight with Nihilus was anticlimactic. I don't care if he wasn't the main bad guy. I mean Kreia keeps talking about how you'll have to sacrifice Visas to defeat the master, why would you if it's so easy to beat him anyways??? It would've been better if Visas sacrificed herself willingly as part of the story.
  2. I think the reason many are disappointed with Nihilus is that he such a cool concept wasted through poor character development and lack of foreshadowing .
  3. It would be better if important plot points weren't so dependant on teh infuence system. Otherwise it's not that bad.
  4. The replies to Nihilus were too vague. I would've made the replies so that it would be wuite obvious what Nihilus was saying. How are you supposed to choose the proper answer to his statement if you have no idea what he said? Anyways how does the exile know the language Nihilus was speaking???
  5. melodramatic ending? What exactly happened that was melodramatic? I'd like someone to explain this to me. Because what I got from the ending was that character development was ignored and so much foreshadowing done in the first part of the game never came to fruition.
  6. Yup that way atleast you can get more of the story. Why should I have to play the game 4 times to understand what happened at the end?
  7. The influence system isn't that great. It's more like the characters influence YOUR actions otherwise you don't get much of the story.
  8. Anyways if you choose to leave important plot devices unexplained in a story then how do you expect someone to understand what is going on? There is a clear line between sloppy storytelling and mysterious storytelling. I guess Obsidian just isn't that good a defining this line for themselves.
  9. That's ok as long as it's a "ending that makes sense and is good" mod then I'll try it.
  10. Tragic ending? What was so sad about it? That's the point the ending had no weight to it. Nothing really happened in the end.
  11. I've only played through it once so maybe I'm not making all the connections, but honestly important plot mechanics appear out of thin air or are never properly resolved. Leaving loose ends is alright, not explaining how characters get to where they are is just sloppy story-telling.
  12. And all the bugs hopefully...
  13. I'll be waiting for the reviews for sure next time.
  14. Too bad none of this is explained all that well in the game.
  15. Honestly the part where Kreia tells you about the future of the characters wasn't needed. What needed to happen was all your allies should've had a fullfilling part in the end. Then they could've left loose ends. The ending had no effect, no weight. It wasn't happy or tragic. It was nothing. It was as if Obsidian spent all this time setting everything up then abruptly decided that they needed to end this, added some things in the end to help it come to a close quickly, important plot devices appear out of nowhere, character storylines are dropped, and you are left with a bit of dialouge as the ending.
  16. Was the ending even tragic? It wasn't tragic or happy, that's the problem. I didn't really feel satisfied with the ending, no emotion. I'm not too eager to know what happens next because the ending was so vague. It's not that I didn't think about the connections, I did and finally understood them. It's that these connections were not even built up, they weren't even discussed. They were just assumed to have been understood automatically.
  17. I dunno. The ending isn't bad, just sloppy. Where are your companions during the end? What happened to Bao-Dur? Why does he have to tell the remote what to do through hologram? Where did the MSG come from??? It came out of nowhere. After fighting Hanharr, Mira heads toward the temple and that's it. No more about here except that she eventually dies... Gee thanks Kreia, I would've never thought she would eventually die. What happened with G0-T0 and the remote? Good thing G0-T0 went to all the trouble of threatening the remote since he didn't do anything in the end. What about the Handmaiden? I like how there is all this talk about how your allies are so important and they all abandon you in the end! I have no problem with them leaving the ending open, it just didn't explain any of the little things well enough. They spent so much time settign it up and nothing really happened at the end.
  18. They didn't take time to explain alot of things. THe temple, the ravager came out of nowhere (the name itself) or the MSG. It was just a terrible ending in my opinion. It's too obvious they cut stuff out, things don't get explained properly at all.
  19. I have this problem too. I hope it'll be fixed in a patch soon.
  20. Damn, I'm in Canada too and none of the EBs in my hood had it. I guess I'll have to pick it up tomorrow V_V On another note the girl at EB asked me if I had KOTOR 1 and said if I trade it in I can get KOTOR 2 for $39.99. I'm sort of tempted to do but I dunno.
  21. And now for some real help! Well actually I am not sure either.... Do you have Kotor I? I assume you don't otherwise you wouldn't be asking for it. Cause if Kotor I runs Kotor 2 will run about the same I figure. I'm not too knowledgeable about ATI cards unfortunately. What can you play on it?
  22. These missions will let us get closer with all the NPCs in your party so it'll make evil choices that hurt them that much more EVIL. It's good that they are trying to build up the NPCs personalities and history. Character interaction makes the game!
  23. she looks pretty hype. I love the character design for this game.
  24. You can probably infuence Atton to go either Lightside or Darkside.
  25. I don't see what that would accomplish. If it's ready just release it. As a PC gamer I don't need such weird vengence on console players. If it was the other way around I would've wanted to have the PC version to come out earlier.
