KotoR 3: Ideas and Suggestions
For suspense and plot-twist reasons: there is revan in K1, there is Kreia in K2, and for K3? They are all taken... so lets just take plot-twists from a few different stories and put them together. Okay, so we have from the sixth day, then we take the Sphere by Michael Chrichton where you have the fact that , then you have MGS2 where the patriots are . Ah, oh, so you all looked at those and thought you'd be able to see the plot-twists that made the stories good? haha, i wouldn't ruin them for you just like that. because if you already knew, then you know what i am saying in the spoiler tags, and if you don't know then you shouldn't anyway. Alright, we put them all together and we get: um... . well, i guess i just ruined the stories by saying that, but you won't know which one goes to which unless you've went through two of them.

Movies you've seen lately
I liked Samurai Champloo, but i didn't realise it was so lacking in a main story... it's probably because i am satisfied storywise by watching the characters interact with a certain situation, learning, and then moving on. But the fight scenes were high-caliber and the art was fantastic, it had its own unique style which i think sometimes gets lost when people make anime and it all looks exactly the same.

Visas vs. Bastila
Visas for sure. Bastila will win... which disappoints me, but not really. Visas' character was gentler and more resolved than Bastila's. She was more introverted than Bastila too, and i like that. She also truly loved the exile whereas Bastila has to be coaxed into it and then she still goes darkside (shows her weak personality. if she was a real jedi she could take a force-created cyanide pill or something like that and kill herself before Malak got to torturing her). It did frustrate me that the romance could have been more complete with Visas, but at the same time, the romance with Bastila was cheesy at parts, somebody around this site has a sig with a parody that made fun of that. I also think Visas would win in a fight because i just like her better, oh, but objectively? um... i can't tell. She is programmed to be a two-bladed/blades wielder and so is Bastila. Both are sentinels, but we all know that sentinels in K2 are the best class out of both games. in K1 LS you have a fight with DS Bastila at the end of the game that is fairly difficult, but you can't compare that to Visas' fight because she was tortured and weakened or whatever by Nihilus. I liked Visas before i found out her voice-actor was Kelly Hu, now i like her more (i know its a video game guys, shut up and look what website you are on). The eye thing? i don't know, she is pretty good looking other than the fact that you can't see half her face, and bastila is all around good looking. In the looks department, they are about the same i guess, but i revert to the character and voice-actor, so i like Visas better.

The attack you use most
flurry always seemed to me like it took my stats and pooped on them. i never hit and it does little damage. therefore i always use critical strike, seeing as it doesn't penalize your stats, or does it? the only bad thing about critical strike is that it has one animation. and when one such as me uses it over and over, that animation gets boring. however, Kotor 1 and 2 have the best fighting system i have experienced in an RPG to date.

Ive learned a terrible truth...
that's good to know, because you could take five extra seconds and vary that with 3 extra seconds and .3 seconds between each keystroke

Ender Watch '05
Why are you sure it is him?Ender Wiggin is the main character in a popular book that seemingly many people would use as their alias on a forum. Is he from germany? do the writing styles match?

Relationships Thread 2
I was actually picturing yours as kayaks or canoes. Not quite the introvert anymore? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Introverts do not have to sail alone, y'know; just have a good relationship with someone ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think he meant that he imagined your ship to be less showy than a yacht, not insinuating that you couldn't have a relationship if you are introverted.

Religious video games
I remember that one. I hated it because it was so theologically incorrect. You had to collect sheep. WHY WOULD NOAH BE RUNNING AROUND THROWING ONE TYPE OF ANIMAL IN A FENCED AREA AND DODGE THE GOAT!?!? it was much more boring than other games like mario at the time. I always thought a fun game would be to role play king David from the old testament. It would be an RPG where you start as a normal sheperd in the house of Jesse, and then become annointed by samuel, then kill goliath, then escape from Saul, then become king and ransack opposing kingdoms with the help of God. And you could make it more fictional by having dialogue options that take you different places than David went in the Bible, or for example you would refrain from having an affair with Bathsheba and killing her husband. You could have stuff like Holy points and Sin points. lol, jk about this whole thing.

That perfect Christmas gift...
i would rather be painfully decomposed alive by ravenous flesh-eating maggots than let somebody turn me into a stone that they'd wear on a ring "Like the memory of a loved one, a diamond lasts forever."

No more cloth for me.
I don't like it either. I usually never use 'dream' to mean hopes for the future, instead, i say 'hopes for the future'. it sounds too unrefined to say dreams because dreams are very unrefined themselves. usually just a messy conglomeration of the day's experiences for me...

No more cloth for me.
No offense taken first of all. it is fine if you misspell something, i really don't care too much. I say YHWH because God calls Himself that in the old testament (using the four old-hebrew letters and it is not pronounced by some people because they don't want to offend God by saying His name wrong, in the protestant english translations they just turn the word into 'God' usually) Second of all, I believe that the old testament God is the same Father of Jesus Christ, so to say that He is vengeful and would kill me for a single mistake if i didn't have Jesus is correct, but He offered Jesus to me and everybody else and now that i have accepted Jesus i am grateful that I am reconciled to God and that He will no longer penalize me for my sins Third of all, Lucifer is only used once in the Bible in Isaiah 14 and actually is referring to a king of Babylon! NOT SATAN'S NAME! Many people believe it is also talking about satan because you see things in the passage that look like they are talking to satan. Whatever the case, a king or satan, to rise up against God is not smart. Lucifer literally means "morning star", and the word came from a translator who took what the word sounds like in Hebrew and spelled it in his own language, thus we get a name mistranslation. He should've just said 'Morning Star', golly, those fellas just wanna make a bunch of trouble. (Isaiah 14:12-15

No more cloth for me.
so are you saying you can't have full power over yourself physically but mentally you can? (because i think i would agree with you for the most part, except i have this other belief that if you don't have the Holy Spirit's help, then you are a slave to sin and don't have a choice but to continue in your sinful nature, so i agree with you other than that) Strong individuals now equals a 'god'? i agree, there is power that a human can have. power over themselves. A very very self-controlled person is rather rare, but they are out there. I still won't accept the term 'god' to be assigned to them though. BTW, the Nazi soldiers are responsible for their actions, like you said earlier, so they would be judged accordingly i believe. i believe they had the choice to do the right thing.
-
No more cloth for me.
i see you really want to change the definition of 'god' to 'human being'. so i will not resist for now. but in my book, a 'god' still has to have a notable amount of power greater than a human. and i don't believe in any 'god' other than YHWH, so i don't even accept my own definition. For example, satan has more power than the normal person, but i'd just call him the devil or satan. edit: typos

No more cloth for me.
well, here is a simple argument, what if somebody pushed you forward and you didn't want to move forward, and in fact, you were resisting. Do you have full power over yourself now?
-
No more cloth for me.
Thanks for summarizing that, i was beginning to lose you. I see if you are an epistemological existential empiricist then okay, but I am not, and i don't think you are. So more importantly, what do you believe on this matter? (well, unless you are an epistemological existential empiricist, then i respect your view but disagree and beseech you to contemplate what i have to say) Does the power that everyone has over themselves constitute them as a 'god'? Why not just say,"everyone has a certain amount of power over themselves and their surroundings" instead of "everyone is their own 'god'"? because saying 'god' to me means something like controlling or having more power than normal people can or do have. Otherwise, the word 'god' might as well mean human being... To COF, um, sorry for turning this into another worldview apologetics thread... but hopefully it'll help you better create your own subjective interaction interphase with absolute truth (er, 'worldview' if you believe there is an absolute truth that is not absolutely knowable)

Spartans the Model for the Mandalorians?
But surely there was a tribe that specifically focused on warfare before the civilisation of the spartans. they might have been the first big nation to do it, but the idea wasn't new i am sure.

Gen-engineered bacteria develops picture
If they are really safe and treat the stuff like nuclear waste, the swapping won't happen, and if they renew their materials often so that the bacteria doesn't mutate, then it sounds good to me. My only concern would be biological warfare. if you engineer the bacteria to be extremely contagious and deadly then there is the real problem.
