  1. no, it isn't useless, you get with this bug 1 more attack on torment reach per use, like real dualwilding would do with 12 points more accurcy on both attacks....for fist and wepon damage as basic...
  2. To the monk bug, testet it. It is more than a screening bug. 1.) It is true, in combat it changes one handed styl from right to left hand, and your fist do not attack or do damage on autoattack But 2.) you main damage source, Torment Reach gets 2 attacks, for the fist and the off hand. if you carry for example bash shild, you do not get a attack role for torment reach. _______________________________ Torment reach works this way. 1h: -> 1 attack. 2h: -> 1 attack dual: -> 2 attack 1h+shild: -> 1 attack 1h + damage shild: -> 1attack fist+off hand: -> 2 attack, but autoattack only with off hand

  4. In my opion, best solo races are: - Aumana, stun resit - Fire Godlike, save DPS under 50% endurance - Moon Godlike, extra heal, which hasn't to cast.
  5. The 250 means level 1 companions in Inn...you can make perfect party there for non solo gameing, so horn was useless for group player. Horn summon was a tactical option early game...but got really fast useless (the bear in cave was already to much for it). The nerf on "the dissapointer" for selling price 750 down to 180 was on other side a nerf against group player in PotD. With this money you could create a perfect party at level 1...if you knew, were to get free items to loot. a perfect 6 man group for steamrolling PotD.
  6. it was 2 talents for +3 reg, every 4s....with level 1 chants. now it is 1,2 regg, every 4s...with level 1 chants.... it was the heal, which got weaker with leveling, it was only strong in a 6 chanter party setup with mass summon...and only than. On items you can get +1 heal every second, which means +4 regg every 4s... the nerf was totally useless...
  7. i do never wrote anythink...that one think or other of cheese is bad. PotD force you to cheese in most classes...and in RP accpect...going a dungeon, fight 7 monsters in one group there, go back to next bar for a 8h sleep...so that you can kill the next 7 monsters in one group...sounds like cheese, too. Summon cheese bottle neck are the low damage numbers...it is save...but it needs hours and concentrate gameplay during this time. Cipher charmed is similar...you have always to charm mobs...and than fight...100% concentration needed. perma repulse...cheese, sure...but it is obsidian fault that priest got a out of combat combat cast with unlimit use as trap...i think every wizard in forum wished, they could cast more out of combat spells. And than there are stealthnerfs in this patch...look to horn summon price in first town...from 600/500 up to 6000/5000...and it only hurts solo playstyl, because for 250 i get perma summon with optimal stats in Inn next door
  8. didn't see that the increased the horn price... if it is really true? the horn summon was a "weak" off tank with heal option to get flanking bonus or somethink to bind enemies for 2-4 seconds in PotD Solo runs, to skip a bigger trash mob group. ...but for 6000 overpriced and worthless...when you need it, the first 5 level, you cannot buy it....and after level 5, only his heal stays, all the rest vanished because of damage numbers and low HP on him.
  9. in your other thread, we postet a screenshot, level 3 monk, solo, PotD difficulty, means 3 bears, not only 1...kill of him...
  10. There is no increased solo XP in PotD. Testet this afternoon XP gain after prolog, when you enter dungeon solo. Got on my test char 417Xp--> which was added as 625 group XP. means +50%. After patch, i done the same, solo entering the first dungon, got 417XP --> which added 625 group XP ---> 50% Unlucky, it doesn't feel that you get more XP in PotD with this patch.
  11. p.s., actually you can use this tactic always, when you find a single mob which you are outtanking (no damage incomeing) and than you stay perma fight and your summon fights for you.

The warrior, i kill her directly after starting dialog, go into a dark corner, ckick attack button, use it on her, wait unitl she is death. unlimited means, boss fights like old watcher, raedric, osylla...etc...are designed, that they do not reset, when oyu run far away. you stay in fight until one side is death. normally it is a disadvantage, but for a chanter, with unlimited summon spell, it means, start fight...run away, until enemies do not follow you (+ speed buff needed) and when you are save, start summon your summon, and use it like a cruised missle...let him hit 1-2 times before it goes down, rince and repeat...because it is unlimited fight....trash mobs do not regg there life, either... so you can fight until end of day and clear a map.

My normal quest going in solo at start as chanter: 1.) prolog...completly solo (kill the warrior and do not rescue the rouge), with patch should this mean, level 2 before leaving first dungeon (useing the two rest items there). +level up 2.) rescuing the cook, going first town 3.) grapping the quest there, make mill quest, kill the two possible companions for loot, rest 4.) make main quest tree dialog, +level up 5.) doing smith quest for shild +getting raedric quest 6.) going temple for life leech and helm and quest +level up to 4 7.) running watcher quest, at level 4 ... for this you need 2 rest items 8.) way to watcher, outtank phantoms in bottleneck, and kill them with own summon and flanking 9.) spider room, bottleneck in one of the last cells (running strait there), kill all spiders, mostly main tanks a small one, phantom kills over time the room 10.) watcher fight, kill his summons, than run out of view, watcher fight is umlimited fighting stance fight, so I cheese it 11.) my cheesed watcher fight, use summon, summon, summon, summon...3h later summon, to clear first level of endless dungon, and i mean all of first level P.S. only if i want...question about my money... 12.)-----running strait forward to dyrford for items 13.) buy trollhide belt (+1 endurance regg per second) 800 money buy exceptional or suberp weapon there (superb cost 12k money), which are level 8/12 enchantment for this I need 8 rest items tipps for getting 12k money at level 4, if you unlucked dryford village, do raedrics hold quest, go into over dungeon, than use priest way to go to raedric with less as possible fights. start raedric fight by attacking his guards, run out of sight corner (badroom)...fight is like old watcher or olyssa in dungeon unlimited fight....means you can summon, summon, summon all day...kill all 10 adds, kill raedric...plunder his hold for all items, +8k income
  14. I wish the would bring out the patch....at the moment solo run means 25% extra XP for quest, 5%*5....with new patch, it will be 50% extra XP....10%*5 for quest....which means the start and the getting to better level should realy speed up.

My tank chanter has following stats: 20/18/3/14/3/19 race aumaua, with extra +20 defence against stun... i run 83 fort defence at level 4, means paralyse immunity. i tried less fort defence build, but the moment you get stuned or paralysed, the build dies. skirmishers attack fort to, and i checked wizard stoneing spell, it attacks fort, too.
  16. First, all PotD solo runs need Fortiunty defence. That means, Might and COn have to be maxed....there is no other way. Fort defence is your defence stat against paralyze (aka stun). paralyse gives -40 to defelction, which is similar to insta death. because after this mobs will allways hit you... rest is like always, have minimum 1 source of extra movement speed (spell or talent) and run with it into bottleneck, and outtank it as high deflection class. or outdps them as other build. but i have only experience as with deflection builds.
  17. chanter has only +1 speed on buff, monk has +2 from talent... and I'm not sure if speed buffs stack with each other.... there is so many which do not stack...
  18. it should never hit you, but i thinking for long time encounter, were sometimes aoe speels hits you. than you want somethink with range for switching, what leeches your health back to top^^ most difficulty mob group will be stronghold, first room, 4-5 phantoms plus 2 shadows. and the 20 spiders in next room, not much space for circling. think you need to grap this +defence to run away talents, that you do not get killed when somethink gots you. plus side, you can dump int totaly...without a AOE spell... and later you get the port attack for wounds...which, when you are corned ports you t other side and give you back space or kitting.
  19. there is 1 warbow with life leech ingame, which you can buy in copperfield, after watcher killing...and watcher should be easy, enough space to outcircle him in running.
  20. at the moment i'm not sure, if monk can be a devasting range DPS class in PotD. They get +2 speed buff for free, means they should outcircle in running most enemies on maps... if speed with speed stack, +3 speed. and +defence for running away... if they use range weapon, they can simply kite and shoot everythink until they go down, talents would be, level 1 + attack speed, level 3 speed buff... level 2 faster reload level4...etc you see were it goes. -------------------------- forgot, later with weaken on hit passiv, -2 speed debuff in enemies. only problem, i miss a way to aoe this way.
  21. yeah, was running at beginning tank with +20 deflection from the start, was running fine, until i got first time stuned from a phantom...which gave me -40 deflection debuff... after this i stayed stunned....and phantom killed me.
  22. sry, problem is, never played monk to this level... but life leech should work, it is 20% from damage, and not 20% from weapon damage. one more think i found out, -20% speed, +10deflection attack -20%speed, +5DR bypassing attack can be active both at the same time.
  23. done old watcher as level 4 chanter in pothd...find out that watcher is like other bigger fights perma fight on this map. so you can cheese with your summon and clear all mobs on first level map without risk, but you need time, time, time...for this. hadn't the time for trying to cheese spiderboss this way...for getting life leech stilleto. to stay in perma fight, you pull, have +speed aura, your summon kills watcher adds, and when adds are down, use your summon to distract watcher...than run other room that he cannot see you, resummon. watcher is other room, do not see you, you stay perma fight, and can now start to clear rest of level 1 map.
  24. mhmm, I kill all 3 bears at level 3 in PotD as Chanter I have seen scrennshot from level 3 Monk, which killed all 3 bears in PotD solo. And level 3 means, intro, first town, mainquest sleep, bing bing
