Finished Daredevil season 2 and felt it was a little uneven. Essentially told two completely different stories and Daredevil was barely involved in one of them.

I started using AdBlockers for YouTube videos with unskippable 4 minute ads. :/

Ditto. Also it might be the effectiveness of my ad-blocker but Lifehacker generally has pretty short to the point articles with few ads for me?

...which the vast majority of they steal from reddit and other places. You're right, but the internet is a big place and Reddit is a cesspool. I liked having at least those things in one place.

BruceVC, can you tell me how manterrupting is not gendered laungage used to shame?

Dear god, you're right! Those poor people are gonna have to find new jobs where they actually benefit society! Oh the humanity! To be fair, not everything Gawker published was pointless. I quite enjoy the content on Lifehacker.com

Yeah I mean it should be easy for an incredibly large, ethnically and culturally diverse population, to unite against extremism. Yeah, I mean, it's not like all Christians aren't the same too, right?

Yeah, I can see it. She fits the version from the new games.

Good riddance. Gawker's focus on clickbait did nothing but devalue journalism. I have no use for the online equivelant of a gossip rag.

Wow, oby posted something that actually has truth in it. Human rights organisations here are now lobbying for the removal of "Humana-Boxes" which are large containers that are located at a lot of places in the Netherlands where you can put clothes and other fabrics that you want to donate, because sending all those clothes there has absolutely destroyed the clothing industry in the areas it goes to and left it worse off. Sometimes charity isn't.

I saw Godzilla vs Bambi once.

But, since Chilloutman is correct, their method might need some work.

So I guess it's going to be Hillary vs Trump, then. I guess I'll have to find those "Vote Cthulhu - Why pick the lesser evils?" posters and photoshop them into saying "Vote Cthulhu - This time I AM the lesser evil".

My grandfather, when he was alive, was a scoundrel who grew weed in his backyard and sold it - nobody expected a nice, toothless man of that. So when I was there, I would see all manner of old stoners who used weed and assorted other drugs for most of their lives. Ford's not drunk, or senile. He's a lifelong stoner.

The Far Side was never translated into my language and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have gotten most of the jokes at the time I was into Garfield. I'm talking 6-8 here.

Hey, glad I'm not the only one who liked Garfield as a kid. I think they're gateway comics - you get a few simple running gags quickly and start to understand how comics work as sequential art.

It's also unforgiving and buggy, which is a horrible combination.

As far as I can tell antidepressants work differently for everyone. Nobody has the same experience. I was told that some people don't feel the effects of the new one I'm on until after they've been taking it for several weeks but it hit me like a bullet. It also depends on what's wrong with you - my diagnosis keeps changing. Originally I was diagnosed with bipolar just with very mild to non-existent manic episodes, now my doc is thinking is persistent depressive disorder. It's not an exact science.

Back on meds. Was a while coming, really, I've felt off for a while and after a series of consecutive recovery periods (surgery, jaw infection, flu) I lost all the habits I built around myself like a wall. On the plus side, this new antidepressant feels fascinating. Time to work getting my habits back.
