I read somewhere that these courses dont really teach about hardware and software and just concentrate on using the most up to date equipment at the time. This is fine except once you graduate yoru knowledge is probably obsolete.

Whiner just get a console. But seriously what are PC games sales as a %age of the whole market? I'm theorising it aint much compared to that of console but i need stats to confirm. If true then not surprising that PC gamers get the short end of the stick. As for a cross platform console, the manufacturers would like their version to be the industry standard i doubt they would agree on a unified approach.

...also i don't think these are marketd in third world countries. Anyway as i have stated before (long ago) these games prices are nominally similar to that of Genesis and Snes around 15 years ago. Whats the big deal? Although it is odd that the next gen games are at a premium - this probably reflects the dev costs (console and game) I'm guessing MS wants to make some money this time around since the Xbox was a loss leader.

Bloodlines is an action rpg. GTA with vampires and lots of talking. Although making a SW based action rpg isnt completely stupid.
