I think this is a good idea, even though the decision to choose a new moderator(if any) is entirely up to Fionavar. But it serves to give a hint as to who has the support of the community, which may be useful in some way or other. Maybe I should make it clear that there are, as Ive understood it, no plans of selecting a new mod to replace Eldar, OR to let a member of the existing mod team take up his jurisdiction.

Ive been recommended to close this thread but as the original thread was closed because of spam and "LA bashing" (and NOT because the topic itself breaks the rules in any way), I see no reason why I should close this. if you break the rules again, it will be closed again but if you manage to stay civilised, it will be spared. And seeing that the exact same thread is allowed at the LA forums, it is quite clear that they do not mind you discussing this.

The Venice core is very nice indeed. Cool, quiet, energy-efficient and of course powerful. My Venice 3200+ is the coolest part of my system, it usually idles at around 37C with nothing but the standard stock cooler.

If youve got complaints then you have to let us know about them, I know most of the other mods are unwilling to discuss modding in public but you could make a thread in the general forum where you could all list your complaints so everyone of us could see them. I know a lot of other people have expressed similar views via PM's and messenger etc. but its not going to change anything unless you specify exactly what mods you have a problem with and why. p.s and if you really want the "Cat vs. Dog" thread back then send me a PM, Ill reopen it if I get two or more PM's. If she doesnt know that much about computers, simply install them to an odd directory and delete the shortcuts on the desktop and start menu, then she wont know where to look. Youll also have to remove them from the Add/Remove Software in control panel, Ive forgot how this is done though, it involved editing an *ini file i think
