I think hes some sort of thing at RPGdot or some other board like that. and: a) Ender left because we wouldnt ban Nurbs for disagreeing with Ender. Sure, Nurbs had said some inconsiderate things but it wasnt worse than what Ender had spewed forth about Palestinians an so on. b) He was put on mod status for a while because he wouldnt stop spamming tthe forums with threads about this despite Fio asking him to keep it private.

When we prune, edit or delete a thread it is in a way a form of censorship. However, we're not doing it to keep some kind of 'dangerous' information from you but simply to keep the forums clean and free of the worst forms of spam. I will PM the author most of the time a thread is deleted unless: 1) The thread is an accident (a double post etc.) 2) The thread is completely inane and the author knows it 3) Im tired.

Threads that are found to essentially be spam are often summarily deleted right away. I agree that it would be polite of us to PM the author after deletion and will ask the other mods to do so. But sadly, which threads are spam and which are not, is a question that its entirely up to us mods to decide. Its not very democratic, but its the way it is. But if you disagree and present a good argument why, then perhaps your thread might get restored
