When will it be on GoG? Still no sign of the documentary there...

Still no performance optimizations ?!? Isn't there any way to improve it?

You possibly won't get an answer because they f*cked up the engine and know that they can't do anything about it in the near future... Hell would suprise me if they touch the performance issue at all..... It's my only concern with the game it's amazing but performance wise it's a reeealy bad joke.

Ah damn. Oke guess it's my fault then. Thought the second thread of a core gets utilised when the first thread is under full workload.... In Dragon Age Inquisition for example all 8 threads got big workload on em. Frostbite seems to be a really good engine....

Hi there, how much cores can be used by Pillars of Eternity? I've got a Xeon CPU with Hyper-Threading - 4 Cores / 8 Threads..... When i look at MSI Afterburner during gaming the CPU load is on Core #1 #3 #5 #8. On Core #2 #4 #6 #7 is 0% load. My real cores are #1 #3 #5 #7. So why is Pillars using only 3 of my 4 real cores and uses a simulated one instead? #8 Is there something wrong how cores get handled?!? Because i got performance issues in some crowded areas down to 45 fps allthough I got 1 core left idling. Bad optimization ?!? Greetz

I installed Win 7 fresh 14 days ago because i bought the ssd for Pillars. Got a HDD for storage for sure but Pillars is on the ssd of course.... First game i got performance issues with. This is bad...... EDIT: The AA Slider yeah but it doesn't influences performance at all on my side because my gpu Usage is between 20-30 %. This game is clearly CPU bound....

My rig: Xeon E3-1230v2 EVGA GTX 970 SSC 8 GB DDR 1600 500 GB SSD Samsung 850 Evo Playing in 1080P. I can play Dragon Age Inquisition maxed out with consistent 60 fps ! Nearly every game there is! Going through Defiance Bay & Twin Elms frame rate varies from 45 - 60 fps. Every outdoor & dungeon scene at consinstet 60 fps though. But this sh*t is ridiculous. Optimise your engine please! This should not be an issue at all....

Are those install files from the gog version of the game? Because I've got the gog version and absolutely no issues in Raedrics hold and i went trough it in every possible way ?!?

GOG is clearly the winner to me. DRM free all the way! And I love their catalogue.

Yeah that's it. It's all about the feeling. Feels just meh to rest per console. I could type healparty then and thats not what i want. Rest limit should be optional. It's not that i will rest after every fight but if I need let's say 3 rests in an area to get through and i got only 2 supplys thats just annoying. I want to decide when i would rest without any restrictions. That's all...

Yes you get the point. I was a rest spamer in BG. Guilty ! But i've got a challenge and it was fun. So what. Everybody should play their games as they want to...

@ Diogenes Thanks. I'm in for the challenge, the game don't have to be easy it's just the rest system which turns me off. Played the old Fallouts & Baldurs Gate so challenge is not my concern. I'm not sure about the console thing, feels like cheating, but thank you for the info. EDIT: @ Developers Please think about an option to turn it off. It wouldn't hurt anybody.
