It all depends where you live. An infant living in an apartment building could get extreamly sick, just because of all the smoke traveling through the hallways and whatnot. However, someone living in your basic suburban area shouldn't really be affected by ciggarette smoke.

Eh, I suppose it could be to people with really young kids/babies, but other then that...I don't see a problem with it. Smoking is a choice. A stupid choice, but a choice none the less.

Well it was a summer assignment, last year. We had to pick a novel that had some "science" to it. We had a list. I chose one with a movie about it. Go figure.

Correct me If I'm wrong, but wasn't Jurassic Park released before you were born? Jurrasic Park was an exception. I had to read that for school.

I've only read Jurrasic Park by him, so maybe...But I thought Jurrasic Park and the Lost World were both pretty good.

The problem with that is kids don't show an intrest in learning something that they don't think they'll use. If my school taught Korean, I would definetly be a bit more enthusiastic when it comes to learning a new language. We have around 5 kids in our grade that speak fluent Spanish, but they also speak English just as well. I've never been in a situation where I've needed to speak Spanish. I probably will, at some point, but by then it'll be to late because if I'm not enjoying it now, I probably won't remember half the stuff later on.

The problem is American schools start teaching languages to late. I started Spanish in 7th grade. I mean, we had "basic" spanish from 3rd grade on, but all we did there was learn how to say "hello", "goodbye", "how are you" and the like. By the time most European kids are in 7th grade, there starting their 3rd language. I plan on taking Latin at some point during my highschool years, but at this rate, juggling spanish and English is hard enough.

Decided on getting The Lost World tonight. I'm about halfway through it. I had forgotten about this movie, I haven't seen in in four or five years.

Just got back from Blockbuster...Sadly, all the Dead Risings are still taken...Snagged a copy of Madden, which they seemed to have enough of.
