Hey, I started rock climbing last summer, and I noticed a huge improvement in my hockey game fairly quickly. My upper body strength skyrocketed, but I think my balance has improved as well. I've never had the self-discipline to lift weights consistently, so I definitely recommend climbing as an alternative. Unfortunately it's not available everywhere. There's actually an indoor rock climbing place about 20 minutes from my house. I'll look into that.

I've never played BG either. Infact, the only RPGs I've ever played are KotOR 1 and KotOR 2.

I bought a benchpress with some left over birthday money to start lifting for hockey. So that's neat.

I think that both prostitution and Drugs would loose their stygma if we were to just legalize them and make them live up to certain standards (like prostitutes must have a blood test every week type of thing.) How would you do that? Organize some sort of prostitute sign up sheet? I don't think that would work.

I think age also plays a role. Older people may have a more religious sense of the holiday because they were brought up that way, and Christmas was (probably) more religious for people 25 years ago then it is today. The first Christmas I remember is the same Christmas that I got my Nintendo 64. I look at Christmas as a time for gifts, not really religion. But now I feel bad about saying that. Sorry God.

Christmas and Easter are the only times that my entire family gets together, so I guess that means something.

My mom used to make us go to Church on Christmas Eve. After that I would go back home and my family would come over and exchange gifts (the one's from Santa came in the morning). So I guess it's sorta religious to me, but it's still about trees, lights, cookies, and fat guys in red suits.
