Such a waste. Ignoring the Havok physics being a bit faulty in Lost Planet, its really impressive technology.

I keep wondering... why do so little games use Capcom's Resident Evil 5 engine? Or even the Lost Planet engine? They look amazing.

Some of these things look really cool, but the shooting doesn't measure up. Add some blood effect, or at least make it more apparent. The shotgun didn't really look like it had a lot of recoil and the muzzle flash for the pistol was blurry. I realise this just sounds like nitpicking, but you can do some better SFX than this.

Played a bit of Gears of War 2. These cover controls are so sluggish. Do I really have to hold A so long?

My suggestion is to take pointers from Fallout 3 mods.

Oh, and the game looks gorgeous.

This one's battle system looks like turn-based with some actual action. Since the gameplay is all in japanese, I don't know how they play it and if it even works well though.

I'd recommend Little Big Planet, I'm just not sure he'd like it.

Not really, it just means you get to have an adept with a shotgun or sniper, for example. Lift + Sniper shot entertained me at least for a while.

Actually, the bonus ability only applies to new characters.
