Not to mention it sounds plausible enough. The game really does look like it tried to add way more features than it managed. But, I'll have to play it first to judge.

So far it looks like AP tried to do too much and ended up filled with bugs. I haven't played it yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case, Obs probably could have had a better game if they weren't trying to make rambo tactics as effective as stealth, for example.

Hey, I like Obsidian, but I have to admit I'm as worried as anyone about whether or not they'll come out with a polished and completed game. They're sort of known for bugs and incomplete stories.

I now have pure hatred for Shepard. It's not because of that review either, I just think the character is a total moron and will never, ever, say something smart or clever. Makes me wish I could play as Garrus instead.

Still 6 days to go for me.

But seriously, it's all mostly valid complaints if a little nitpicky, and I have to admit it sort of ruined the game for me.

So? Shepard has a canon face but there is still the option to create your own. I'm not asking for much, just some textures that don't make beards look so fake. That's what I meant - they just stuck with that face for ads but maybe we can change it a lot more in game.

$69.99 consoles games + tax. It's been awhile since I've seen that price on something for sale and not just pre-order listings though. Bah, where I get my games they cost 59,99$, like they should. None of that silly FutureShop 10$ more BS. I get a fair number of my games from Future Shop, mainly because they seem to do better than any of the other stores in town at actually bringing in PC games. I haven't seen a $69.99 game in months though. Strange, the FutureShop around here has no two or three PC games at best and likes to price new releases at 70 bucks.

JC Denton's head was 16 polygons with a lowres texture on it. You can't really customize that. Besides, he couldn't NOT look manly, unlike Mr. Plastic here.

Maybe they used a basic Mike face for a while and decided not to switch the face they used in trailers so no one got confused.

I don't remember games being 80$ here and I live in Quebec.

Depends how much money the reviewers were bribed with. At best this will be a cult game, like Deus Ex.
