  1. The point is, regular bullets rarely blow off a leg. There are many types of bullets and some WILL tear apart your limbs, but if you get shot, you should worry more about the blood loss than the possibility of losing your leg.
  2. Screenshots are nice, but I can't wait to see the game in action... A hint for the story would be nice, too.
  3. Just watched the first episode of teh fourth season (curse you, french translation). Had to wait for the french translation since I keep forgetting to watch it in english.
  4. You're going to wait a LONG time, then. This is the kind of game that stays on shelves excessively long.
  5. If only there was an easy way to show pics of Phantom Hourglass...
  6. Strating working on what we call "Projet Personnel" (That's french, BTW)... basically it's an artistic creation/essay/event you create/organise, along with a 4000 word text on your experience making it. If I get that done, I get a fancy piece of paper from the I.B.O. (International Baccalaureate Organization) along with the regular secondary studies diploma. I'm basically going to draw lots of caricatures on Quebec's political year... Hopefully I'll get enough inspiration for jokes. It's pointless, annoying, but it can be fun if you do something you want to do. In any case, screw the IBO and their ****ty program. In any case, I have a whole year to make it, so I'll be fine.
  7. Regular bullets won't do it, though. You'll need something special... or lots of them.
  8. Foo fighters: The Pretender and Best of you
  9. So do these guys support school shootings? :|
  10. Dismemberment is near-impossible with guns... anything short of a 50 cal doesn't have much of a chance of chopping off a limb. It might make your skull go ballistic, but a thigh is really damn tough to tear off. So now that they're going with "realism", there isn't much chance for lots of dismemberement (not as much as Solider of Fortune, anyway).
  11. I liked Lady in the Water. It was good, and didn't have a ridiculous twist at the end. Not exactly outstanding, though. It felt good to watch a serious fairy tale that didn't end with someone dead.
  12. Not to mention getting rid of lobbyists...
  13. "Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrel" Amazing book... as long as you don't mind it being 1000 pages long and the abundance of 19th century british aristocracy (had to skip a few paragraphs there...). Fun to read anyway, especially near the end. Also, not to diminish the book, but I don't think I'll ever be able to read the whole thing again. I have the time and I loved the book, but it's like eating a whole sugar pie... you're full for the next two years.
  14. Really freakin' happy face. EDIT: though I probably shouldn't care so much, being canadian and all.
  15. She apparently didn't think very long about it, since pretty much everyone realised it was mostly useless. What I'm wondering is "what was she thinking?". Don't most candidates have experts or advisers to help them think about their plans?
  16. I love how the media twists anything related to race into a racist comment. Also, how the hell can you blame Obama for his ex-pastor's comments?
  17. So are they going to just re-tell Bioshock?
  18. Let me guess: The hero suddenly dies?
  19. And that's another reason why I love consoles. *shields himself with XboX*
  20. I pretty much love every soundtrack these days, but frankly, it's hard to like this one...
  21. Looks awesome. Might even be hilarious. Unlike ... So much for another Wachowski masterpiece...
  22. Goddamn... this game looks great! Awesome work Obsidian.
  23. Would be nice if the Habs won next year. Seeing as it'll be their 100th anniversy, for every 4 Stanley cups they would have won 1 :D
  24. Well, he hasn't been exposed to bad commercial animes like Pokemon, Bakugan and the like. Keep him away from those, or it'll cost you. Seriously.
