Only played the first one... and was too incompetent to complete it. Sounds a lot like CnC 3 to be honest.

I don't think the entire world FEARS America for their weapons... or politicial motives. Russia, China, both have enough weapons and military force to deal with the US. What we might fear is that we might get caught up in conflicts between any major military power. South Korea is a lot more threatening as a "war starter", for example.

1280x720 is fine. You won't see any pixelishness or whatever you want to call it. Not everyone needs a 1700x1200 resolution.

Actually, consoles can have great resolutions, as long as you have HD. And in any case, next-gen consoles don't have terrible resolutions at all. They look fine, to be honest.

Wishful thinking. Though I admit it makes a lot of sense to make ME for PC as well... I sense EA has something to do with it.

Battlefield: Bad company actually sounds like a good title... Too bad I won't get to play the mutliplayer.

Space fantasy, Sci-fi, whatever you want to call it. I was mostly talking about futuristic RPGs (no need to start the Sci-fi/Fantasy debate here)... There have been a lot, but not nearly as much as medieval. I'm just saying, the Steampunk genre (for RPGs, mostly) is still unexplored compared to other themes. With some imagination, you could make a great Steampunk setting.

3:10 to Yuma. Great movie... up until the last 20 minutes. I was extremely pissed and depressed at such a cheap and horrible ending. Haven't been this mad at a movie since the Departed.

Isn't the Spring Engine freeware? Though I suppose it's crap by today's standards...

Still, a steampunk RPG would be a nice change from sci-fi/medieval themes. There haven't been many, so that leaves room for originality.

So you knew it was a remake, and at first dismissed it because of that, despite you not knowing what the original was? No, I meant I didn't expect it to be fun... though I can see why that sentence is misleading. Oops. Maybe I just like stupid, gory and violent bloodfests. I had lots of fun with the demo, but it's easy for the game to become repetitive... I also know most people here don't enjoy stupid, gory and violent bloodfests.

I don't know about you, but I don't pay much attention to games with commercials on T.V. or their progress except for those I've wanted for a LONG time. Blacksite, for example... and now Turok (the one for the 360). I know the series, but never payed attention to it, feeling it didn't really stand out. Plus it was a remake. This game might actually be fun. REALLY fun. Knife kills are awesome, weapons are diverse (and have different uses, like attracting dinos to enemies) and the graphics are cool too. Plus it has dinosaurs, so you don't just shoot at humanoids/humans (like most shooters...). I wasn't expecting that. So has anybody bought it or tried the demo? Any thoughts about it?

Actually, I wouldn't mind spending 4$ for more content. It's just I feel the whole process of getting the MS points is more trouble than actually coming up with the money...

Well, as long as it doesn't have the crappy voice acting and animation of Two Worlds, then I think it might be believeable enough.

I still don't know what to make of this game. Some people go crazy over it, or expect it to be the best medieval RPG ever... but I'm not seeing anything "extraordinary"... Maybe I'm just looking too much for a revolutinary concept or something that REALLY sounds fun (that might not have been announced yet), but I just don't see this game as being fresh in the generic and crowded Medieval RPG genre.

Hmmm... I see a lot of "poop" jokes in this one... wasn't too funny.

I hate DLC. Why does it always have to cost something?

Can anybody explain to me why Dragon Age is so exciting? We know barely anything about the game, so how can anyone say it's going to be better than Mass Effect/Kotor/Jade Empire?

I predict this game will disapoint. A lot.

I don't like Crysis' final boss... it looks more like a big piece of flying metal than anything else.
