Ozone hole may disappear by 2050
I thought the calender just came to an end, no explanations given <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You wish... Actually, the whole 2012 thing is a misconception, I think. I remember reading something that said the calendar really ends at around 4072.

Ozone hole may disappear by 2050
Well, according to the Mayan calendar, the world's going to end in 2012, so we've got nothing to worry about.

What are you playing now...
Went back to Diablo II again. I'm trying to build up my druid, right now at level 19 and based on the lycanthropy (mostly werebear) and elemental build. So far, he's very powerful and turning into my one of my favorite characters yet. :D In my humble opinion though, "fissure" is almost too powerful, at least at the lower levels of the game.

Anyone do Ancient Greek around here?
Hmm...don't think I can help much. Most Greek I know is Biblical (surprise). Don't know if there's any difference between it and classical, though.

What are you playing now...
Okay, I just started GTA: San Andreas (X-Box). The game is mind-blowing just out of its sheer size and depth. It's like its own world. The makers out-did themselves on that part. Although I would have preferred them to keep the old controls from Vice City, which in my humble opinion were easier to use.

What are you playing now...
I'd say roughly $650,000. :D Of course, I had help from some internet maps. The hardest part to complete I think were the unique jumps and hidden packages. The most annoying part was the RC Chopper minigame, which was insanely hard to control.

I just completed 100% of Vice City yesterday. Was it worth it? Not really. : P

Well, they do. And I vote C: This is a pointless waste of forum space.

Yeah. Don't let the fact that it's a completely different game derail you.

T.O.M.B.S: Vol. 5
You would have been roasted like a stuck pig a long time ago if only I had precious more time. Alas, I don't. School and women are like part-time jobs, did you know that? Except they cost money. But don't worry, it's coming.

To the question: no. And yes, Revan is overrated to the point of absurdity.

America - A Horse With No Name On the first part of the journey I was looking at all the life There were plants and birds and rocks and things There was sand and hills and rings The first thing I met was a fly with a buzz And a sky with no clouds The heat was hot and the ground was dry But the air was full of sound {Refrain I been through the desert on a horse with no name It felt good to be out of the rain In the desert your can remember your name Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain (la la la...) After two days in the desert sun My skin began to turn red After three days in the desert fun I was looking at a riverbed And the story it told of a river that flowed Made me sad to think it was dead You see... {Refrain After nine days I let the horse run free Cause the desert had turned to sea There were plants and birds and rocks and things There was sand and hills and rings The ocean is a desert with its life underground And a perfect disguise above Under the cities lies a heart made of ground But the humans will give no love You see, ... (Refrain)

The thread of world events
Not only that, the rock making up the head seems to have eroded differently than the rock making up the rest of the statue (unless that's just an optical illusion). There's also supposedly a chamber underneath one of the Sphinx's paws that was discovered with sonar, but hasn't been unearthed yet. Edgar Cayce believed this chamber holds the lost records of Atlantis. This stuff doesn't just go for Egypt, either. Just look at the Ancient Aztec and Mayan civilizations, which built pyramidal structures with amazing accuracy and precision. For those of you interested in reading about all these bizarre theories, check out this book:

When I first saw that movie (which was waaaay back) I thought the demon's name was Vince. And I remember thinking, "That's not a very intimidating name for a demon."

The thread of world events
You mean you've never heard that theory before? A big part of it has to do with erosion. Some speculate that a lot of the erosion on the Giza Pyramids was due to water, not wind erosion. The last watery period of Egypt was estimated at around the third millenium BC, and some believe the amount of supposed water erosion is enough to date them back at least 2000 years before hand. The oldest theorized age is about 12,000 years from what I've read. There's more evidence here: article (scroll down to see section on age) Also, there's an interesting theory called the Orion correlation theory, which has to do with the alignment of the Pyramids and Orion's belt, shown here So if this stuff is true, than the Pyramids at Giza are older than the Egyptian civilization itself, meaning they were not built by them. (This actually has to do more with the Giza Pyramids, not the Egyptian Pyramids in general, which I accidentally said above)
