  1. 1. From what I gathered, that was a lie Kreia told you. This is actually hinted at during the game, because no one you talk to about force bonds has ever heard of them being lethal, and of course, once you kill Kreia, you are still alive. I'm guessing Kreia told you the bond was lethal so she could manipulate you and also ensure her own survival as well. 2. No clue. That irked me as well. I'm guessing it's only because Kreia was so central to the plot and ended up being the final boss. That, and she is your only mentor in the game. But yeah, I would have killed her early if I could. That would have spared me a lot of time and anguish.
  2. Ha! I'd thrown in the Clintons, Ted Kennedy, Greenday, and Howard Stern. Oh hell, just throw in the entire left wing.
  3. I actually liked Bastila, both as a character and for looks. She annoyed me at first, too, but her personality got way better as the game went along. It was fun seeing her change from an "I art holier than thou" person to a "I love and admire you but am scared to admit it" person.
  4. Sorry, but this really works best if you've been here a while and have an established reputation. But hang around a bit and one might get made (assuming this thread lasts that long) @Musopticon: Are you referring to Shadowpaladin? Cause PotentPaladin doesn't show up on the member search.
  5. I got the same answers in the same order and the same number of tries! So which one of us is the clone? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why, I am, of course. I am your evil clone duplicated from one of your fingernails. And soon I'll ruin your reputation by framing you for various crimes. I'd like to take it again, but my computer's being a jerk-face and won't load it entirely. It keeps stopping at the loading screen.
  6. Okay, I'll bite. If Revan is a LS, then he comes back to the Republic and helps rebuild the Jedi order along with the others (Bastila, exile, etc.) If Revan is a DS, then he defeats the Republic and the True Sith, and becomes the new "True" Sith Lord. Feasible enough? EDIT: And if not, please explain why you think so.
  7. Really? And just what "surprises" are there? And please don't tell me you're referring to the "wound in the force" thing or General...We are in General... Use these spoiler tags -Battlewookiee
  8. Well Silvershadow, if you're out there, this one's for you. Silvershadow Silvershadow has an attack of 2 Silvershadow has a defense of 1 Silvershadow is a "docile fangirl" type card. Special Powers: As Silvershadow is a "docile fangirl" card, she cannot utilize the power "fangirl squeal". Instead, for five " " tokens, Silvershadow can execute "summon fangirls". When this power is activated, any fangirl type cards in any nearby threads can come to Silvershadow's side. As a "fangirl" type card, Silvershadow can execute "rabid fury", which increases her attack by +2 for any other "fangirl" type card in play. If Darth Launch, Darkside, Silvershadow, and Royalnonesuch are in play at once, all attacks are raised by +8. Once per thread, if any attempt to attack an allied fangirl card is made, Silvershadow's attack raises by +1, and she gets a free attack on the enemy card for that turn. Also, if any mention of Atton is brought up in play, Silvershadow can draw upon the "I Atton" power and is immune to all damage and special powers for the next turn.
  9. I see we're including Egypt and Norse Pantheons now. Don't know who I'd be, but I did take a quiz on Ageofmythology.com to find out what I'd be. First time I was Odin, second time I was Set. :D
  10. Oh yeah, I guess I should complete the "fangirl" set, huh? I''m thinking of doing Silvershadow next, but I haven't seen her in a while...
  11. Perhaps, but I found it annoying when it got too gray. It was like good and evil didn't exist anymore, and that they were both the same, which isn't true. I just felt like my choices didn't make much of a difference. Of course, this is because we had an old witch like Kreia teaching you about right and wrong, even though she had no concept of right and wrong herself. And I must wholeheartedly disagree with your take on the K2 storyline, but I guess that is just personal preference, no matter how wrong it is... " (j/k)
  12. Oh no! "Now is the winter of our discontent!"
  13. Fortunately, yes. Kreia is not an older version of Bastila. And don't forget, K2 only takes place 5 years after K1, anyway, so that rules that out. Did you finish the game yet?
  14. I'd change Darkside to Athena, Calax. She seems to prefer that slot. "A flaming monster with a hundred heads, Who rose up against all the gods. Death whistled from his fearful jaws, His eyes flashed glaring fire." Find someone who fits that description, and we'll have a member for Typhon. :D I nominate Battlewookie for Hephaestus. He seems the type.
  15. Hang on... I'm a rabid fangirl yet the Goddess of Love and Beauty? DL <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Of course. You LOVE your targets and your avatar is quite beautiful. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> @belowpost: Nah.
  16. Actually, I think Darkside is more of the Athena type (just for her war-like personality) And I agree: Fio=Kronos. Also, Hydrogen=Gaea We also need someone for Achilles.
  17. Here are some I thought of at the top of my head: Darth Launch=Aprhodite Darkside=Artemis Fionavar=Typhon (not really a god, but he/it was super-powerful) GhostofAnakin=Poseidon I think Baley should be Dionysus (god of wine and revelry)
  18. Michael Jackson...as well as any other celebrities whose noses mysteriously change for no reason.
  19. Ok, here goes. Darth Launch Darth Launch has an attack of 2 Darth Launch has a defense of 3 Darth Launch is a "rabid fangirl" type card. Special powers: Like all "rabid fangirl" type cards, Darth Launch can invoke the power "fangirl squeal". As she is top fangirl, however, she can invoke this power for only three "OMG!!! I him!!!" tokens, and any number of times per thread. All enemy male cards then lose their ability to attack for the next turn unless they succeed at a will save. Fangirl cards are immune to this ability. If another "rabid fangirl" type card is in play, Darth Launch can execute the power "rabid fury". Her attack raises by two for each other fangirl card in play, and raises by +8 if Darkside, Silvershadow, and Royal are also in play. If a picture of Carth Onasi is posted in any thread, Darth Launch gains an additional attack per turn and all enemy cards lose all defense points. Once per thread, Darth Launch can also summon the power "control others" for five "you are my pet, bow down BWUHAHAHAHA!!!" tokens. If Baley or any other male card is being used by your opponent, that card can then be controlled by Darth Launch. As a bonus, Darth Launch also gains a "spam shield" from Baley which, raises her defense by +2. If this is in need of improvement, do tell.
  20. ^^^ There is nothing wrong with hot, sweaty relations, even in the pixelated world. " And I think killing him would only piss off the fans, regardless. Revan lives! Oh, he does! And he'll be making a kickass comeback in K3! I don't see why everyone thinks Revan has to make some "heroic sacrifice". They could just do it this way: If Revan is LS, he helps the Republic and rebuilds the Jedi order. If he is DS, then he is the Lord of the "True Sith". I wouldn't be surprised, though, if they just went with the Canonical "LS" Revan and exile for K3 to simplify things.
  21. *puts away lightsaber* First of all, welcome to the boards. You make good points. A lot of people don't like K2 because of everything you mentioned, and the fact that it wasn't "Star Wars" The game was indeed morally ambiguous, something SW doesn't do, but my problem with the game is that it was too gray. It made virtually no distinctions between right and wrong, and this is mostly due to the games Also, K2, while attempting to do something different, failed in my (and other people's) opinion. They did something different, but I found the overall story to be weak, unfulfilling, and utterly boring in some places. K1 gave us a good, fulfilling story, I think, with much different philosphies (redemption, your choices make a difference, etc). It made much greater distinctions between good and evil. And while K2 had it's good moments, I don't feel it is superior to its sequal. Maybe if they had more time it would be better, but we'll never know for sure. And another reason fans were so disappointed was because we were given a different kind of game than the one advertised. That caught many fans (myself included) off guard and left a lot disappointed. But a lot of it boils down to personal opinion, too. Different people have different preferences. Some people don't like SW, and like K2 for that reason. I'd love to discuss this more, but I gotta go for now. :D Spoiler tags added -Battlewookiee
  22. I thought K1 was way better than K2. And Taris I thought was superior in every way to Peragus. You should really keep going, it gets better. Taris is really the only planet that duplicates environments like that.
  23. Of course. That, or the devs just suck at writing.
  24. Metadigital should limit himself to three special powers like the rest. It's only fair.
  25. Here's something interesting to think about (and a little more Kreia contradiction as well): Kriea says in the game that the next war wouldn't be fought with ships, yet she goes on to say in the end that Revan will need soldiers in the war that comes (when she refers to Mandalore rebuilding the clans), and GO-TO mentions how Revan left military installations intact to use in a "war on another front". Also, Kreia says in the end something along the lines of "Did you think those ships and soldiers were Sith? No, the Sith is a belief." 1. That's nothing new, it's not as if we didn't already know that. 2. If the Sith really was a belief, then that would make those Sith real Sith, since they follow the Sith belief. 3. If she was referring to the Sith species, then that still doesn't make sense, cause she would be contradicting herself by implying that the Sith was a species, not a belief. 4. If she's referring to an ancient Sith Empire not made up of the Sith species, that still wouldn't make her statement accurate. If the Sith was a belief (which it is), then Revan's Sith and the ancient Sith empire should still both be "True Sith". Thoughts?
