  1. 1. The weapon Bao-Dur has looks more like an ion rifle. 2. There is no rocket launcher in the game. That weapon the HK-50 uses is just something made for that little cutscene. Although it would be sweet to have one of those in the game.
  2. Let the people decide what they want. If the population wants to have it removed, then so be it. Heck, I don't care even if some people omit the "under god" part, but don't deny us our right to say it. If this is a democracy, then let the people decide, not some judge behind a desk.
  3. Crap, beaten to it! Veru nice, Darth Riggers. She kind of looks anime-ish. Did you intend that?
  4. Whether something is constitutional or not has nothing to do with how many people complain; the very basis of the Constitution is ensuring that the majority do not tyrannize the minority. That said, I couldn't care less about "under God" in the Pledge. I don't think most atheists do, either. Might as well be "under figs" or "under sea boat" for all we care. On the other hand, think about how many people would flip out if it were "Allah" or "Zeus" or "Mithras." And for the record, most religious references that've made their way into government-related things are recent. I love how people justify fusing Christianity with the federal government by pointing at "In God We Trust" on our currency, as though the greenback of modern times is what Jefferson used to pay off his tavern debts. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, God is a generic term, so it can apply to more than just Christians. Christians, Jews, and Muslims all refer to their god as "God". Then you also have Hindus which worship gods as well. But as I said, if more people were upset about it, then I'd understand. But this whole thing seems to be narrowed to a small group of individuals who repeatedly press their own agendas.
  5. Perhaps if more people were making a fuss about it, then I'd understand. But most people seem to be okay with it. Just because one person whines about it doesn't give them a right to declare it unconstitutional. Until more people come out of the woodwork and complain, it can stay, as far as I'm concerned.
  6. The pledge is said simply as manner of respect to the country. Besides, if you aren't comfortable with saying the pledge of allegiance in schools, you don't have to. If this guy doesn't want his children to say the pledge, then they don't have to. But don't take away our own right to say it.
  7. I actually wouldn't mind having exile again as a PC, since that might do away with having to create a new PC for K3. As for power, since he/she may still have been a wound in the force after K2, then some event could happen at the beginning of K3 where the exile loses his connection and has to start over again. But K2 must have a sequal, otherwise the entire storyline could fall apart. But the way things are looking right now, it will take as long for LA to announce K3 as it did to make K1.
  8. By all means, post them. And welcome to the boards, by the way.
  9. I got news for you, the Jedi lie and manipulate, as well...and probably more so than the Sith because the Sith let their feelings show on the outside, regardless of the consequences. Jedi lie and manipulate all of the time because they feel that it will serve a greater good. Jedi lie and manipulate to avoid problems. Sith lie and manipulate to create them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sorry, but there's no way that statement is even close to being true. Go and read up a bit more on the Jedi and the Sith, then come back.
  10. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You're quoting the guy that thinks Jedi are (intentionally) cruel and evil and is paranoid of droids? I love Atton, but come on. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hey, I'm not a huge fan of Atton, but he himself was a Sith one time, he should know. :D Besides Kreia was: 1. A liar 2. A manipulator And if you look at everything she does in the game, I think you'll find that almost everything she does has some selfish motivation behind it. That, and the vast majority of influence options with her were DS, and she doesn't like it when your character does things she thinks are "too good". EDIT: And while she may not have been a Sith in the sense that she wasn't part of their order, you can't deny that she shared many of their beliefs. She was very Sith in mindset I think, though she herself might not have believed it. And besides, we're talking about someone who wanted to destroy the force, here. Arrgh! It's the "Was Kreia Evil?" thread all over again!
  11. Whew! Glad that's over with. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some 'tweaking' to do. EDIT: There we go. Decided to go with this one, just cause it's new.
  12. Pff!! Kreia was darkside, no questions asked. And she was most definitely Sith, no matter what anyone says. Even Atton says this in the game. (she is the third Sith Lord, after all) But of the two, I liked Kreia better, simply because she seemed smarter than Atris, and Atris was the epitomy of Ice Queens. All she ever did was yell at your character. Her character wasn't the most well-written, either. And she has the nerve to keep your lightsaber. <_<
  13. Big Brother
  14. BTW, I thought you were dead, Topaz. Where have you been?
  15. Good luck, guys.
  16. My moth-sense is tingling. I sense conspiracy here! Anyhoo, I'm tempted to change my avatar (again) but I'm not sure what to use. Should I use... This one (an oldie) My current one Or this little South Park character I created?
  17. I don't think party members in K2 were any better than K1. Some of them were interesting ideas with too little dialogue, or, in Kreia's case, way too much dialogue. In K1, I liked: Bastila, Carth, Canderous, HK-47, Jolee Bindo. Mission and Zaalbar were pretty good. Juhani was okay, and T3 had no personality. In K2: Kreia - well-developed, but self-contradicting and way too annoying. Atton - character wasn't really deep at all. His whole premise was just someone who had done some bad things in the past and wanted to atone for them. (LS) Visas - was a cool concept, but had very little to say. Wasted potential. Mira - sort of well-written. More wasted potential. GO-TO - interesting character, but boring and useless. Handmaiden - liked her, but she had very little backstory, not very deep. Canderous - a K1 character, really had no further development. HK-47 - another K1 character, he actually was a step down from his K1 self. T3 - really improved (he actually had a personality) and more useful. Bao-Dur - decent character and useful.
  18. I don't know why, HarrySorne, but your Atton sort of looks like the characters they have on the GTA game covers. Just a weird thought. Anyway, great drawings! :D
  19. well then women are evil too because women drain mens pockets of money. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Amen.
  20. There's something fishy going on here, we need an investigator of the private variety on this case... Lockage imminent.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Or maybe Darth Launch posted but then quickly deleted it.
  21. What joke? I know, but I'm bored, dammit!
  22. Well, the comics are EU anyway, so they don't matter. :D I don't care what the official stuff says, Visas has eyes in my book.
  23. I actually enjoyed killing her almost as much as Vrook. back-stabbing manipulative witch.
  24. King Arthur had facial hair...
