When you have a crossbow as secondary weapon, sometimes it is not displayed correctly. This picture has been made before patch 1.03, but the bug stil exists. When you meet grieving mother, both in her initial position and when she walks with you it is shown wrong in 1.03. As you can see in the image, it does not always happen.

In einem Ladebildschirm stand: "Sowohl das zentrale HUD als auch das Kampfprotokoll können minimiert werden, wenn du die Welt erkunden willst, ohne dass die Charakterportraits zu sehen sind." Das ergibt so keinen Sinn. Der letzte Teil müsste wohl heißen ". . . damit nur die Charakterportraits zu sehen sind". Bei den Kommas bin ich mir auch nicht 100% sicher.

Ich war jetzt in einem anderen Laden. Auch dort waren viele Dinge ohne Name und ohne Preis. Als ich einmal hoch und runter gescrollt habe war der Text da. Corens Laden hatte nur so wenige Waren, dass man nicht scrollen konnte.

Ich habe version 0.10 - Es kam mehrfach vor, das im Ladebildschirm der Rahmen leer war. (Also keine Spieltips.) Zum beispiel in Farnheim. - Im Ladebildschirm erscheint der Text: "Wenn ein Angriff ein Ziel trifft uns Schaden anrichtet . . . Schadensreduktion . . . "und so weiter. Bei diesem Text sind alle Zeilen außer der ersten nach rechts gerückt und ragen rechts aus dem Rahmen heraus. - Im Kupferweg in den Schlafsälen ist der Laden Corens Kräuter. Im Laden sind alle Waren ausser der ersten ohne Namen und ohne Preis. Und es erscheint immer die Fehlermeldung "This upload failed" wenn ich ein Bild hochladen will.

I came to the map where you meet Sagani. There I saved and loaded the game before talking to her. When she joined my group she had a DR of -2. Loading the game when she was in my party solved the problem. The problem did not appear when I did not save and load the game in this area before recruiting a char. The problem can appear for Kana ( Int helmet) and Sagani, Hiravias, Grieving Mother, Pallegina ( fine armor). For party members, the problem can be solved by reloading the game. I hope this bug does not work for NPC. Does anybody remember the stacking bug in BG2, where regenerating enemies ( like werewolfs) were stacking their regeneration on loading in the area? It made them almost immortal and in BGT I had to kill the Boss in the shipwrack via console command because he was healed fully after every hit in milliseconds. The patch does not prevent the bug from happening. It removes the effect every time you load the game. This way the bug cannot hit party members after you loaded the game once with those chars in your party.

Ich habe ja schonmal über das erste Treffen mit Hiravias geschrieben. Jetzt steht dort in seiner Beschreibung ( Der erste Text wenn man zum ersten Mal mit ihm spricht): . . . während sein eines Ohr als verstümmelter Rest dessen nur noch zuckt und krampft . . . " Das Wort "dessen" muss dort weg, glaube ich.

When you get to your ( soon to be) stronghold for the first time, you have to fight shadows and phantoms in the yard. I ordered Aloth to cast arcane assault on the shadows. He was out of range at this time. He moved straight in the direction of the enemy, but no walking animation was shown. His image slided completely unanimated over the screen. When he was in casting range, he continued to move forward in the same way. In the meantime my other chars defeated the enemies. I ordered Aloth (still moving) to walk somewhere else. He did so and he behaved normal from then on. This happened only once. In all other combats he casted arcane assault as usual. I use Version 1.03 from gog on windows 7.

Ich habe jetzt Version 0.10 Nachdem man Maerwald in der Festung besiegt hat und man neuer Herr der Festung wird möchte Aloth mit mir sprechen. An einer Stelle hat man folgende Antwortmöglichkeit: "Es gibt einen Grund, jetzt noch Vermutungen anzustellen" [ stoisch ] Wahrscheinlich sollte "einen" zu "keinen" werden. Das klingt stoischer und ergibt auch Sinn.

Nach dem Patch habe ich nochmal neu angefangen zu spielen, mit version 0.9 eurer Übersetzung. - Als ich vom Startgebiet zur Ruine kam war kein Text im Ladebildschirm. Der Rahmen war leer, sonst stehen da immer Spieltips. Hat das was mit der Übersetzung zu tun? - Bei den Krieger Fähigkeiten wurde "confident aim" mit "sicherer Schütze" übersetzt. Das ist verwirrend, da sich die Fähigkeit auf nahkampf Angriffe bezieht. Wäre "sicheres Zielen" besser? - Wenn man in der Festung (also der zukünftige Stronghold) zum ersten Mal mit dem Thron spricht ist im ersten Fenster der Text zu lang. Das heißt bei der Beschreibung des Throns fehlen die letzten Worte auf der rechten Seite und der Text ist schwer zu verstehen. - In der Charakter Erstellung, bei der Auswahl der Rasse. Bei der Beschreibung der Rassenfähigkeit der Natur Gottähnlichen ist das Attribut Geschicklichkeit nicht Rot geschrieben. Das heißt, es gibt kein tooltip der den Enzyklopedie Eintrag anzeigt. In der Englischen Version ist das der Fall.

If you want to hit things, you have these options: - dual wield 2 fast weapons - dual wield 2 medium weapons - use a 2h weapon When is which style better? I assume that weapons that ignore some DR are the best. Am I right? Of course, to deal lots of damage its best to have high might and dex. But if you cannot have both, which one is better for which style? Or is it better to have both stats the same value? At the moment I prefer 2h, because of DR and because it is easier to find one good weapon than two good weapons.

Easy Mode is to hard

When some people say its too easy and some people say its too hard, maybe this means its just right. -
When the patch comes that removes the stat stacking and double clicking bug, I will start again, maybe as tank. That means high perception and resolve, hatchet, large shield and all things that boost defenses equipped. I am level 6 now, so I know only the talents at low levels. Everyone can take weapon and shield style and cautious attac. Cautious attac is modal so you cannot use it with other modes. Fighter: + defender mode + wary defender = +15 deflection, +10 all other defences + engage 2 more enemies in defender mode + knockdown to stop enemies from hitting things + into the fray to get enemies close to me (never worked for me when Eder tried to use it) + permanent self heal - Does not have any spells Paladin: + bonus defenses through faith an devotion, improved by a talent and influenced by your reputation + inspiring triumph bonus depending on order + can suppress bad status effects for some time + single target heal and buff - can engage less enemies than the fighter - cautious attac prevents him from using paladin auras that give bonusses to other party members Chanter: + permanent debuff of enemies through chants + permanent heal of yourself and allies with ancient memory + can cast spells that hit several enemies + can summon creatures - can engage less enemies than the fighter - No class talents that permanently boost defenses - it takes some time before he can cast spells If I play a tank, I will use one of these classes. Does the +2 engagement of the fighter make a big difference? If so, fighter would be best. I use Eder as tank now, so I do not know how good the other 2 classes are. Any advice about this?

I got a message that my stronghold will be under attac in 4 days. When I was at my stronghold, I selected to deal with it manually. I had a fight in the throne room which I won. The monsters dropped some loot. I was unable to get the loot. Leaving the area and reloading the game did not help. I was able to get the items when I shut down the game completely and start it new.

When my companions do not wear any equipment they show this damage reduction: Grieving Mother: DR3, crush 3, pierce 3, fire 2, corrosive 2 (it is strange that fire and corrosive are shown because they are the same as the base value) Sagani: DR6, pierce 8, cold 8, 3 corrosive Hiravias: DR2, slash 3, fire 7, corrosive 1 (he has +5 fire DR through a talent he already had when I met him) Pallegina: DR -2, pierce -3, fire -2, cold -2 (negative, fire and cold shown though the same as base) All other chars have a base DR of 0 as it should be. I think I found the reason. These 4 chars wear an enchanted armor when they join the group. All of them wear a fine armor. The resistances that are modified are the same as the ones of their starting gear. Somehow the DR modification of the enchantment have been applied permanently to the char. In case of Hiravias, the DR enchantment has also affected the fire DR caused by his talent. Maybe this is related to the infinite stat stacking bug. Has anybody tested if their base DR is strange when you never save or load in the area where you find them before and after they join the group? It is strange that Pellagina has a negative DR. All Other companions stand somewhere and they join you when you talk to them. You meet Pellagina twice before she can join you (in front of the building and inside of the building where she will finally join you.) Maybe this is part of the problem.

I gave Durance the talent brilliant radiance, so that his holy radiance damages all kinds of enemies. I did damage humanoid enemies with this spell at least once. But when I use the spell now, it damages only vessels. Reloading or removing him from the party did not solve the problem. Note: I play in german and I took the ability names from the wiki. I hope this is still correct.

When you meet your druid companion (Hiravias) for the first time, in the first box that is shown to describe him is written " . . . sein eines Ohr . . ." ". . . eines seiner Ohren . . ." would be better. When I read this I was confused for a moment if he has 1 or 2 ears.

Unfortuanatly I have encountered the 2 mayor bugs (infinite stats stacking and loss of passive talents). Eder is level 6 and has over 170 deflection and over 100 in other defenses. Right now I play on normal to enjoy the atmoshere and look for more bugs. When the patch comes out I will start again. I have an optimized cipher as main char. My thoughts: I love this game because of the atmoshere. It is one of the few RPG where you can actually roleplay. When I start again, I will use a non optimized char (or should I say optimized for his role playing aspect) and 5 companions. I will play more like PST than as IWD. I started IWD several times but I never finished. Not because it was too hard but too boring. Hard adds only more enemies, but If I want to be overrun with hordes of enemies over and over I play IWD again. It is good that they made a game where a non optimized party can go through the game on normal without dieing every 5 minutes. If you find the game too easy, play on PotD and if even this is too easy for you, you have the option to solo, expert mode and iron trail. If the devs make the game so hard that experienced RPG gamers find it challenging on normal, then new players will only be frustrated and they will never see what a great game it is. -
minor formation problem

I have selected the triangle formation for my group. When I enter a new area, my group stands not as triangle but as double row (the first option in the formation menu). I mean ::: instead of < (rotate this by 90°) When I click somewhere they use the triangle formation. When I click on the ground, sometimes my group does not use the desired formation but something different. This happens rarely with one of the standard formation, but it happens often with formations I created myself. Of course, in all of these cases there was enough free space for all chars to stand in the selected formation. I call this a minor problem, because unlike IWD there were no situations where you are surrounded by many enemies as soon as you enter a new area (at least it did not happen for me until now). In such a case it would be deadly if suddenly your wizard is in the front position when you selected your fighter as leader. -
You already said that the disliked behavour for paladins is not shown. In character creation it is not shown for paladin orders and for priest gods. I do not know if it is shown in game, because my char is a cypher.

Bug: 3rd weapon set

When I reached the stronghold, Kana joined my group. As racial talent he has a 3rd weapon set. (I play in german and I hope he has the same name in english. It is the chanter companion.) When I select a different character (with 2 weapon sets), I see 3 weapon sets and the 3rd one is Kanas. When I select weapon set 3, nothing happens with the selected char and Kana equips his 3rd weapon set. expected behaviour: When you select a char, you should only see all weapon sets of this char. This should be independent of how many weapon sets other chars have. When selecting a char, you should never see the weapon sets of another char. I play the german gog version on windows 7. -
When you enter your (soon to be) stronghold for the first time, there is a room full of prison cells and spiders right behind the throne room. When I entered the prison, I send my tank forward and when some spiders attacked I pulled them back to my party and killed them. I repeated this several times without problems. But then I pulled a group of spiders and after all of them were dead, I remained in combat mode. No enemy was visible on the screen and nothing did attack me. Combat mode ended after I killed all remaining spiders in this room. expected behaviour: Combat mode should only be active when an enemy sees you and tries to attac you. I play the german gog version on windows 7.

I add some more errors: - In the equipment describtion, the term "enchant" is not translated. - In the screen where you enchant things, it is translated correctly as "verzaubern". But there is another problem. The second type of enchantment for armors is called "Beweisen". That makes no sense. I don´t know how it should be called. - In the screen where you create food or scrolls, the word "amount" is not translated. It should be "Anzahl". - In the options menu, "Area loot radius" is not translated. This is true for the slider and the description at the lower screen. - In the first town, in the tavern you find a black hound. In your inventory it has the correct german name. But when it follows you and you press the TAB button, it is labeled as "Black Hound". PS: Please make sure that your pet is not shown when you press TAB. It is part of your group and not a townsperson. PPS: I made screenshots but I could not upload anything today. But I could upload something some days ago. At the moment I do not even see the option to add a file, though I saw it before.

Right now the base area is red and the additional area through Intelligence is yellow. My suggestion: 1.) - for spells/abilities that affect only friendly targets (like AOE heal) -> the entire area is green or blue 2.) - for spells/abilities that hit only enemies -> the entire area is yellow 3.) - for hostile spells with friendly fire -> the system that is used now (red base and yellow additional area) This means: green = you want to be there yellow = you want your enemies to be there red = get out of there The only problem are spells that affect friends and enemies differently (like the priest ability that heals nearby friends and damages nearby enemies). This is just a suggestion that may be nice to have, not something very urgent. I have never seen this in another game. But PoE is the only game I know with the mechanic described at 3 (A stat increases your Area, but the additional area deos not cause friendly fire). In all cases except 3 the difference between base area and additional area is irrelevant.

Bug1: In character creation, in the description of the racial ability of the nature godlike, the word dexterity (Geschicklichkeit) is not shown as codex link. (It is not red and the is no decription shown when you put the cursor over it.) In the english version dexterity is linked to the codex. Bug2: When you create paladins or priests and you select the order/god, the things your god/order liks are shown but the ones he dislikes are not shown. Like it is shown that god X likes diplomatic, but it is not shown that he dislikes cruel. In the english version everything is shown. Bug3: When you create a ranger, you select your animal companion, then you select its name and then you select your attributes. There is always a button that brings you back to the last thing you selected. This button is not shown when you enter the name of the animal companion. You have to click on the symbols on top of the screen to get back to the things you selected before. Bug4: The names of many weapons are wrong. For example the hunting bow is called "Intellect+2". I have found only weapons with wrong names, no other items. But I only played the starting area. Picture added from the first shop you meet. Bug5: When people talk, the things people say are written with white text and things that describe the character or what happens have grey text. But often the things people say is also written in grey.
