    Hi there!

yep. And Like Hurlshot said, it depends on the area. For example I had classes in high school that generally ran at about 30-33 students. PE is the compromise because pe it's easier to keep everyone on task so ultimately the HS pe class would be run by two teachers and generally top out at 75ish students. If I didn't have to have more school than a business exec I would probably go for teaching.
  4. All that graphical power and what does he use it for? *Sigh* ALL THE COSMIC POWER IN THE WORLD!!!! itty bitty living space. PHENOMENAL COSMIC POWER! itty bitty living space When Gamestop opens, I'm going to go buy P.N. 03 per a friend's recommendation and seeing it in action at a friend's house. Mostly poor reviews, but I'll get it used for 5 bucks, so I don't care. Viewtiful Joe. Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner. I'm tempted to get Front Mission 4, but I don't think it'll be anywhere as good as 3 and I should probably avoid it. ZOE2 is MUCH MUCH better than ZOE, It's got some VO hiccups but is otherwise a pretty good game, short though

  7. One thing you have to watch out for in guilds is eliteism or becoming too much of a family. My current guild is... a massive family quite literally, thus we can't really say your not a good player and teach the person to play well without having to fight off a large part of the guild.
  8. I'm pretty sure starcraft is going to be hardcore ability fest....From what I saw of the videos things like the immortals special energy shields, there dragoons that can blink, zerglings that turn into rolling terrorists, and a bunch of other stuff. Every unit they showed besides terrain had a special ability, a lot of the times not passive. I think what pop was referring to was the fact that after a certain point you could still win a match even if your economy and your production was shot to hell but you still had your heroes. And the fact that heroes could do more in a fight than a platoon of soldiers.
  9. What in the name of Zombie Jesus? Next thing you know, Infinity Ward will be making something that's not a World War II shooter! You mean like Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare? Stil a shooter, sure, but at least they've ditched the WWII part. It was meant as a joke. It's odd that both of these companies are moving from a specific genre they've been milking for 5 years straight. Practically to the tune of 1 a year. But, I guess it's about time they both moved on, or rather well past. btw COD3 wasn't made by infinity ward, blame treyarch for the horrible idea.
  10. isn't that the draw to WoW too?
  11. and you can see EXACTLY where the border is.
  12. WW2 shows went to mili and History. Discovery still has mythbusters.
  13. huh, didn't know that
  14. I like to go Czar hunting with Heavy Artillery. Popping Czars from across the map is great fun and pretty easy too. czars are the flying ones...I think what happened was that my heavy arties got it down and the UEF just polished it off.
  15. Cheap shot: You vote Republican? quite the opposite
  16. Now that is bad. Edit: wait, Meta met Eldar in Vegas cuz of this forum, and they might have gotten married too I don't think even vegas would go for gay marriage JUST yet To each other? Because I think people do tend to get married, and some of those people may have been members of this forum beforehand ... There are two rules: 1) Never marry anyone you meet over the internet. 2) Never bring your significant other to a forum you frequent. They broke number 1, but number 2 is just as bad! huh, how about the wow thing where two players who met in game got married?
  17. so what happens if you live in one of those dark spots?

    Hi there!

We should all give ourselves a pat on the back... Well done folks... Here's a cookie for everyone, now share nice. We should get a counter for number of newbies shot down to put into our profiles. but it's mostly a group effort - should everyone get a star then? or should we make a whole new kind of moderation team, that keeps track of newbies and who (really) chased them off? I'm for the idea though - it's good for overall morale to keep scores. We do keep score: the winners earn an official warning and a period of moderated status. does that include you oh master mod?
  19. eh, I have a tendancy to not use them. about 100 of the tier two land defenses were able to make mincemeat out of that guy without breaking a sweat (just lost my air defenses that you see in the pic) after this I used 2 battleships and assortment of destroyers and a skillion subs to clear a path for three monkeylords to hit the Aeon base (what was left, heavy artillery installations have a tendancy to decimate your opponents) before stopping the UEF's naval attack (nearly lost a support commander, one of six I had operating) before mopping up the UEF base (which has... limited defenses to say the least, and NO strategic missile defense) weird part was that the UEF killed the CZAR in one of their attacks on the Aeon base.
  20. supreme commander, this is about midway though the last cybran level. I tend to rely on static defenses and the ai for this poor sod is horrible.

    Hi there!

Tale is scared becasue you broke his bubble. He's worried about friendly people. Moderated status is what happens when you go a bit over the line so the mods have to personally ok every post you make. Our boards do not have a very good track record for welcoming people. We've literally caused one poor guy to leave after being so horrendusly welcomed. recently we've become warmer (mainly because we've barred hades aka Rabbit aka... from posting like a jackass) to newcomers. So I welcome you.
  22. yeah... pretty much, the fact that they felt that it would be warranted to add that this is not going to be a multiplatform because, among other things they don't seem to have a good control scheme down for RTS's that would allow for the reaction times of a keyboard and mouse. You just wouldn't be able to handle an entire battle with the single controller. Now I haven't seen the C&C3 control scheme or felt it so I don't know how it's worked out but From everything I've seen RTS's just don't work on consoles.

    What

  24. wanted to add that I think that the fact that the Blizzard PR guys felt that they had to add that they didn't plan to put SC2 on the consoles is a little bit... scary? From everything I've seen the Consoles wouldn't be able to handle the sheer number of individual units we're talking about.
  25. Princess that ran away with a monkey tailed boy and ultimatly fought to regain her throne Question, why is it that princes and princesses seem to always think that any time they appear on the throne they'll be recognized as the heir?
