I think I had 38% accuracy on one of them. Don't remember which one though. Had a mid 20% headshot percentage though. Only 5 friendly fire in Death Toll, but 17 Dead Air. Totally wasn't my fault though when Phoenixz kept running in front of me. I swear I incapped him more than the zombies did. I was getting pissed at him always saying "Come back! we need to stick together!" when I was like 4 feet ahead of the group and in 0 danger of zombies. Then he'd do the exact same thing I would and not follow through on his own advice.

Did some Expert Death Toll and Dead Air with Der and Shape and Phoenixz. Actually survived both times, had the least amount of friendly fire (2 accidentals on each map) and the highest accuracy (52 and 48%) probably because I was using the hunting rifle. Just got done with a little bit of FEAR (the origional) and the thing I notice the most about it, is that the engine SUCKS when rendering an outdoor environment. The buildings look like cardboard cutouts. and everything seems boxy.

it's psych, we're studying the development of the human identity and psychology through the lifespan allotted to us.

My project in my Human development class is a large report about Who I am. The project requires me to do things like think of 5 movies that represent me and the same number in song etc. One of the requirements is to ask 10 people (it doesn't matter who) to tell me who I am, and being an idiot, I picked you guys. So, Who Am I?

Just remembered I'd seen a preview with the devs talking about the game on Xplay last week. The reason behind the mech combat was because in the first game the first thing the developers saw people doing was making mods to put themselves within the mech. Just wanted to throw that out there.

... :remembers the gnashing of teeth that occured in WoW once he hit Redridge Mountains and beyond: I'm still scared, I guess scarred by WoW pvp server, where for kicks hordes at max level would go into alliance leveling zones and kick the crap out of alliance newbies. Um for those who don't know, PVP server means that world pvp is active for any territory that's designated "Contested" (which usually is everything except the first two zones for newbies). On a PVE realm you can't be killed unless you flag yourself for PVP combat. -

You do underestand that you can "just screw around for a few hours and chat with guild" in EVE as well right? You don't HAVE to deal with the politics or financial stuff at all. You can just fly your ship around and kill space pirates/trade stuff/do contracts(like a courier). For some reason all EVE-related news is about the politics, you have to realize that this is the endgame, like raiding in WoW. When you finally get too bored to fight space pirates/etc. you dabble in the politics and do crazy stuff like that. The average player does less political stuff than your average citizen in a democratic party. Try out the 14-day trial people! There are just too many misconceptions about EVE. I don't know, I don't think I'd fit in. Either that or I'd get in WAYYYY over my head in the game. Why would you fit in any more or less than in another MMO? The only thing different in EVE is that a lot of the stuff if player-run and that it is in space. It is a bit overwhelming at first, but I usually get bored before the 14-day trial get over, so you have a built-in limit (Don't take that as a hit against the game's quality, I get bored with most MMOs after a week) I think alot of the reason I seem to fit better in WoW than others is because I was lead into it by RL friends, without them I don't think I'd have even gotten into WoW in the first place. I also don't think I'd be able to do much in a 14 day trial for EvE (just based off what little I've heard). Also I think I'd get angry after I got my ship blown up for the umteenth time by a superpowered pirate. -

EvE seems to take the MMO experience to a level that it shouldn't go to. It literally is a job, where in WoW I can just screw around for a few hours and chat with guild, EvE is a place of politics and backstabbing. Heck they even have a financial analyst on the staff to keep track of their economy. There's also a player council that the devs have to fly ideas by. -
:gripe: I was supposed to have a phone interview with the unemployment office today, but I wasn't able to get to the phone fast enough to pick up in time (our message machine picks up after 2 rings when it's got a message on it, and then they left a REALLY short message) and thus might be denied benefits for the last four weeks.

Who knows, maybe they threw out an old build for the demo. Or a bad level. As to the difficulty, maybe they dumbed it down for the demo (doubtful), or they made it so that console players wouldn't have to watch their e-peen wilt as they get destroyed again and again by the brutal AI because their control scheme isn't as precise as the mouse.

Just a word of warning, Blacksmithing is quite possible the hardest profession to level up to 450. Mainly because around 300 you have to have ridiculous amounts of thorium to push you through to Outlands stuff. Also it requires ALOT of ore to put together the only plans that give you skill ups at a certain points (usually where the game used to end).

I have notepad but that's crap for writing anything other than a note (god formating in that thing is horrible) I'm saying take one of our bar fights, and have characters with our names carry it out IN GAME. Or something that recognizes the group that's been here a while, Maybe have an Ender character run out of the bar in a rage over what one of the others said, which brings about arguing over who was right and then it degenerates to the point of a brawl that the PC must extricate themselves.

:Sigh: I don't have a writing program on this thing. Guess I'll have to try the screen shot contest. Also I still think there should be a bar fight between forumites on the standard lines (Taks and GD and co. on one side, (I wish I could say me), Sand, Volo, and the other vocal liberals on the other side.)

by 8600 you mean an nvidia Geforce 8600? Mine didn't have a problem with Witcher EE.

For raiding? the hardest thing in Naxx is primairly positioning of certain enemies and positioning of yourself. Heigan is particularly bad because his floor erupts in sequence (so only one zone is clear that people can stay in). This isn't a major problem for melee because we have to do it the entire fight, but there's a phase where everyone has to do it much faster, and usually the casters start dropping like flies. Other than that Grobbulus is hard for the tank because he has to keep moving against the wall or die from a poison cloud, and the DPS has to "drop" the poison clouds they get infected with where the raid isn't going to be. Other than that the fights are pretty easy, but not as easy as VOA which is pugged left and right on my server as well as the easiest thing I've ever raided. (I say that having done ALL the BC raids, excepting Sunwell), Obsidian Sanctum is similar but also offers the most challenge currently in game with his three optional adds to make the fight more difficult (harder than Mu'ru in Sunwell supposedly). If I had the strength to reroll my crafting job I'd probably get Jewelcrafting. You give yourself awesome trinkets and Gems, blacksmithing is rather lackluster other than the initial epics to get you rollin in naxx.

:remembers people running while leaned: Sigh, I hated those people. What do you get from leaning while zipping across the map?
-
Yes, because invasion in response to attacks ISN'T going to cause even more people to become members of hamas because their loved ones were "Collateral Damage". Certainly. Actually right now I'm more worried about Pakistan than Israel. Mainly because if the Pakistani government folds you've got over 150 nukes in the hands of extremists.

wills are simple to write. of course, you also need a government that recognizes your right to give your property to anyone you choose, but that's another, deeper issue. the only reason the marriage issue matters is the perverted notion of unequal rights, i.e., some are more equal than others. taks Couple of things First is not related to the quote. Aristes stated he was for gay marriage but that when it came to prop 8 he voted against it because the leaders of the Pro Prop 8 campaign were smug and full of themselves. At least I think that was his reasoning, which to me is a stupid choice because you're denying a person a legal standing in their partners life. As to the quote, I don't think it's inheritance that drives gay couples to get married, I think it's more a mixture of the tax breaks, and the fact that once you are married, the decisions that need to be made, should you be incapacitated, are shifted to your partner rather than your closest living relative (who may or may not be completely homophobic to the point where the partner isn't allowed to even visit the other in the hospital). Now I don't know if a living will would work around this fault but I sincerely doubt that if a living will were in place, and the parents were homophobic enough, that the partner could mount a proper defense of his/her right to act as their partners guardian. Heck parents have the ability to try to force their way into guardianship of their children in Heterosexual marriages (see the Terry Schivo case), and the fact that a homosexual couple would be denied the right to see each other in the hospital or on their deathbed bothers me to no end.

These are my first in about 5-6 years now. Before that I went through a period where I had several almost every time I went to the dentist so I've got a crap load of fillings. I've actually got one that is about 60/40 tooth to filling. I recall my current dentist being taken aback when he first saw it and making some comment about being surprised how well it's held together. Never had a problem with pain except for when the dentist pokes the cavity with his sharp metal tools to illustrate where it is. Honestly, having to get up at 7am again was the worst part of the whole thing. I too have the problem of having to be knocked loopy because they have to use so much numbing agent. A couple of my teeth actually have false tips because the teeth chipped for various reasons. I hate the fact you feel nothing for a few hours then when the stuff wears off you've got an ache where the needle was inserted into your gums.

To a degree this is both right and wrong. It's right in that it's tutorials and you can basically come up with any attack pattern and kill stuff. But, If you get into any serious part of the game (Raiding, PVP at end game) you generally have to find a way to maximize your attacks and then theres the sheer amount of number crunching you can do to figure out exactly how the game works. ElitistJerks is the place to go for number crunching/figuring whats best for your class for example they have a breakdown of how to DPS as a Frost Spec Death Knight http://elitistjerks.com/f72/t37448-frosty_...c_hat_required/ Just he sheer amount of math that these people do to figure everything out is staggering. -
Congrats. I have a level 28 Paladin. Engineer/jewelcrafter. Fun stuff. How does one get a dragon mount. I considered going for the netherdrake mount in BC, but I thought the amount of rep grinding was ridiculous and didn't do it. I had a level 58 Paladin. While they were fairly slow at killing stuff, I always found they were nigh unkillable. The tricks you could pull out were just fantastic. Engineering was a great profession choice too, throwing grenades around really helped ease the lack of DPS. With the changes to paladins recently for Paladins it's usually suggested that you go ret till 30-45 or so (I've heard like five different levels for the change) and then you go prot. The thing about prot over the other trees is that you still kill things rather slowly but if you herd a group of 10 together you kill them all at the same rate as if you killed one. and Aristes, just a suggestion but drop engineering and pick up mining. Mainly because Engineers don't really get much that's useful. Engineers do get interesting stuff (a "roflcopter", jumper cables, flares, and special goggles) but generally most of their equipment is designed for the fun factor. Also as a paladin you won't be able to use the best things in the Engineering profession (Guns and scopes and ammo). Mining will allow you to provide yourself the Ore/eternals/primals/gems you need to work on jewelcrafting, plus you can sell your Titansteel cooldown for a bundle. <is a miner blacksmith.
