I've been playing Mirrors Edge again... I'd forgotten how rough the game is particularly if you're not using firearms. Seriously whoever designed the counter system timing should be shot. Guy telegraphs his swing, but you can't counter him until he's most of the way through it. Also, you're playing a little girl who weighs 100 lbs after being dunked in water, she barely can use a gun, and has martial arts... and they want you to go up against groups of three or four guys who have SMG's Shotguns and MGs.

Except they did.. well, I think part of that was the joke. They've ALWAYS had the image blocked totally by a censor bar, the only difference now is that they censored the words, which the creators poked fun at in the end of the episode (bleeping out the "lesson learned" in the episode)

Also, they censored every time they uttered the name of Muhammad (so they could have been talking about twinkie if you hadn't seen the first one)

Just to warn you, Iowa State can be expensive for non-Iowa residents. The best way to do it, to save money in the long run, is to find an apartment off campus, get a job doing something, and stay there for 6 months to a year, then start at ISU. It would bring down your costs by a third or even in half. If you don't have a car for transportation, Ames has a great Bus system. Well currently the plan was (and this does work according to councelors) that I'd get a room and take my calc classes (4 credits) over the next year which would work towards residency (as long as I don't have over 6 credits I'm still earning residency) , then once I'd attained residency I'd work in earnest.

Well, I basically went through the website, and the college catalog and highlighted all the prices I could find for mandatory things (and the price of the "no freshmen" dorm/suite housing) and left him a note saying that "I don't want to do this garbage because you'll just keep coming up with things that make me do 6 hrs more work that was unneeded because you weren't communicative enough" (In about the same language, but was more verbose). So almost all the info is there (just missing the meal plan info) for him to look at but my deadline to accept their acception is May 1... and knowing this family it'll take till apr 30 at 1159 pm for them to allow me to go. And yes, the "Not that thing I told you, the OTHER Thing I told you to get" "You only told me one thing" "WELL YOU DID IT WRONG" argument has happened before in regards to getting info that showed I was a student full time for insurance. He told me to get a billing statement... and I did, then yelled at me for getting the wrong thing and wouldn't listen when I explained that I got him what he asked, it just didn't have the info he thought it did... Now that I think about it, It's feeling like he's starting to loose a bit of cognition. That odd skin cancer thing from a month ago (that I didn't know about until after he'd had it excised and skin grafted from his ear to his cheek) might have something to do with it but meh (it's his second tumor removal for anyone interested, first was in his lung).

The chaingun is mainly for the special ability that fires in an arc literally DESTROYING anything attacking you (except vehicles). I tried meltas and claws but found that with my cmdr as melee the Dreadnaught did better with ranged. Of course Avitus with terminator armor and a vulcan cannon is just insanely good as well because he just starts shooting and bam he's got them suppressed for cyrus or somebody to annihilate. For the most part I was running around with Cyrus, Avitus, Thule and meself to absolutely MURDER people.

Aren't there programs specifically designed to throttle your cpu's clock speed back for those sorts of problems that are free ware?

... I hate my dad... I got asked for a basic "what sort of financial assistance could you get when you went" and I gave them the numbers, only to have my dad turn around and say "Ok, give me a 2 year projected budget for your stay there, figure out what you're going to do for summer and how housing works there." Even though we'd effectively made these numbers (just didn't have hard numbers, only student estimates) 4 weeks ago. And we discuss it and he starts yelling until finally my mom of all people told him to make an itemized list of what he wants for the numbers as the last 80 billion times that he's told me "I want X" I've been yelled at about how X wasn't the X he meant because he needed it to prove Y or Z or just because X was something else in his mind.

have you gotten him the chain gun? That sucker can mow down 5 squads at the same time. I've never tried a ranged commander.

Just beat them... I think they needed to have some sort of way to buy items otherwise you end up just locked into a particular setup (Particularly once you get termies). Although the dreadnaught with a machine gun just decimates anything coming at you so

When you reach 80 it's actually pretty easy to earn money. I earned about a grand in the week after I completely drained my bank simply by only doing my daily random dungeon (earns you like 20 gold and 2 badges). Also it should be pointed out that your leveling is going to slow WAYYY down when you hit 60 because (among other thigns) blizz has gone through a few times and dropped the total amount of XP required for the 1-60 game by a third, and hasn't really touched the burning crusade stuff. Although it is easier in BC because you don't run from continent to continent 8 times for three quests. BTW what class did you roll up? Warrior. Putting all my talents into Fury... Its making soloing a lot easier. You don't want to put ALL your talents into one tree. Try to follow it but make sure as soon as you can you get Titans Grip. http://www.wowarmory.com/character-talents...ara&group=2 ^my warriors fury spec. I think I have a point in the wrong spot but I'm not sure. That said, not all the talents I have would be very good for leveling because they're designed to maximize damage output, while some of the others are designed to keep you going. Warriors are ROUGH to level as they don't have any internal healing ability, but once you get titans grip things get MUCH easier. Also, I r clensing the galaxy of tyrnaids on orks on Dawn of War 2. Not as good as the first. Unless I'm horribly wrong, as someone who has only the vanilla WoW, the only way to get Titans Grip at lvl 60 is to invest all talents into Fury? (all 50 talent points cos TG is the last one) The plan was to do this until I get BC, which is when I will delete all the talents and rearrange them? True, but until that point one thing you may want to do is go with an arms spec (gives you more damage at this point I think) until you're in outland.
