I've considered getting an account there for sometime, but I hear the movie streaming selection leaves something to be desired. Thoughts? It's kinda hit and miss. Many of the movies from a few years ago that were popular are unavailable, but several of the newer ones are entirely available. I'd probably end up getting it more for the TV shows.

Probably like Tribes 1 at this point, the only ones left are the insular super hardcore ? Well, when you see something like "DOTA Allstars 3.5 -banlist -allrandom -insanity -quickstart...." in 90% of the games that pop up, it gets really frustrating.

DOTA is something I despise. I basically killed Warcraft3's custom maps, and if you were trying to learn you were trolled, constantly.

Attached myself to Netflix... and found that I have a massive love of the British version of Top Gear.

Saw this and Cowboys and Aliens. I think I liked Cap better, but it did start to drag on. I think that's partly to blame because of their book ends. And Agent Carter just felt entirely shoehorned into the story. I did like seeing the Human Torch however. Cowboys was probably one of the better movies I've seen, but it too felt a wee bit dragy. Probably because they spent to much time setting up things, and the final battle felt like the Smith fight from Matrix Reloaded.

Spent today waking up early to see somebody off to the airport with the family, then spent the morning with extended family before coming home, napping, and watching TV while talking with the extended family some more. Tomorrow we're supposed to go to the Jelly Belly factory in vacaville to show a cousin around... well that or the Empire Mine up in the Sierras. I'm starting to get a bit annoyed that I only had one day really "Off" from everyone, and that day people were making me feel guilty for not going on this 8 hour hike up in the sierras. Hopefully thursday is the day off as I go home on friday. Still, it's nice to see the family and actually be in a location I consider "Home" rather than living out of a hotel room while visiting members. Oh, and my parents are just OH so helpful to me, friends call to see what I'm up to, and I don't get told until 5 hours later because "We forgot"

Not in my experiance. I think the rule is that if the officer feels they (or others) are in imminent mortal danger from their suspect, they are allowed to shoot. Well, that's if you boil it down to it's bare bones.

Why are you going back to California? Just visiting family. My dad's birthday/retirement/moving party is tomorrow and I haven't been home for a substantial amount of time since last year. K, just making sure you werent quitting college. Nah. I am going to have some interesting times because I'm gonna spend basically most of sunday writing a paper that I'm playing with right now. If I don't think it's quite ready I'll throw my professor an Email (He literally sent me an email saying "If it's not up to your normal standard, you can email me and we'll talk about it") to get a tiny bit more time.

I actually agree with you here. It would be foolish in the extreme not to make some preperations to that end. I've cleared parts of my property to get two vegtable gardens going (even if the world does not collapse I still am trying to grow the perfect tomato) and I do have a pretty big store of canned and dry goods. Plus I have around 5000 rounds of ammo for my firearms. I live literally right next to a small river and less than a mile from a big one. An the Hatchee wildlife management area is just a few hundred yards from my back door. If I could just learn how to make moonshine I'd be totally self sufficient. WOOHOO! I have your location plotted into my gps's.

Headed off to my last day in class, then it's packing for the afternoon before flying back to Cali.

Question, How is Kings bounty?
-
Simply, yes. CAPTAIN WIKI SAYS! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Income_tax_in...tes#1930_-_1980 in 1980 for the lowest income bracket was a base tax of 18% Right now, it's slightly smaller, but it's 10% Basically right now it's broken down into 10% 15% 25% 28% 33% 35% while bin 1980 (according to the page linked) if you earned over 250k you had a 70% tax rate. Right now our taxes are lower than the Reagan era, and the reversal of the bush cuts would put us at a tax level akin to 1994 (I think) under Clinton which were higher. Also, if we don't raise taxes, and default on all our debts... we can't pay anyone on the government payroll (Including the US Military), and the dollar is worth crap almost instantly (this is, again, according to Goolsby in an interview with John Stewart). I personally don't want to be paying 20 bucks to buy a candy bar.

Well, Given that the market plunged with the "we're just cutting spending" gambit, I'm willing to bet if they'd shown a tax increase as part of the deal the market wouldn't have dropped nearly as much. Mainly because the average american wouldn't feel that the politics in washington were being handled by a set of 6 year olds arguing over the pink ball, and the fact that it would be a sure fire way to start dropping the overall debt by 2017(?). The drop was like 2 billion total as of the deal, but with tax increases they could pretty fast get it under control according to projections.

Eh, probably somebody saw that Heavy Rain was a bit of a success and well liked and decided to jump for it.

I'm with gorgon about that, but I did want to point out that AR's were produced before the Reich (the BAR was 1917 I believe, just never used). And England had the first anti-smoking writer (King James I)

I dimly recall this not being the case. On the subject of *ahem* romance, my main trouble at the moment is that at least three women have expressed a keen interest recently, but IMO they're far too mad. Evidence 1: they are keen on me. Wals... you live in a nation that was ruled by a syphilitic King who managed to produce at least 20 bastards, had a best friend who wrote homo-erotic and regular erotic poetry, and had women throwing themselves at him even as his previous mistresses were dying from what they contracted in his bed... oh, and he screwed two mistresses on his wedding night. I don't think that having three women interested in a slightly grumbly old fuddy duddy is evidence of insanity.

Got a bit frustrated because it seems like nobody ever wants to talk to me unless they want me to do something for them or I initiate it.
-
*cough* sorry for the Necro, but I got a bug up my rear recently about this and actually tossed an email to the OP about finding the Obit/Gravesite (as mentioned before, I'm now in the same city so the grave would be easy to find). This is what I got in return

Or a prostitute with three lady bits down below like Yahtzee is so proud of using as a metaphor.

Smoking cigs/joints/cigars? Or just flat out smoking as parts of your clothing burn off?
-
Found a video of what happens when power rangers get frustrated at each other And for the record, that's also Vash the Stampede/Ichigo Kurosaki/Nero of DMC4 fighting Virgil from DMC3 (the both did the Mocap for their characters too)

well I think there's the whole problem of making a movie out of BATTLESHIP. At least with transformers there was some sort of storyline... and with Battleship at least they're using actual pegs to beat up each other.
