That'd be a pretty good guess, they can only ask you to re-do the same zones so many times, after all. They're asking you to do it, right now, around 8 times... with no differences.

But common. The good part about having parents in academia is that they've worked their whole life with young people and have had to follow how things change. The bad part is being respectable, but poor. Well my dad just retired from being an exec in charge of environmental for a defense contractor, not in academia.... But he does so love to remind me that "I did drywall to get through college! You should be able to handle college and a job!"

Most of the time, in MMO's I've playe,d it's max level focused. They seem to have a different perspective on this one, but I'd guess that the new one is 50 only.

Got in an argument with dad over school plans.... well not so much argument as "getting lectured about how I should do things" Then realized after hanging up the phone, my dad had personally triggered more mental incidents than any other factor in my head because he seems to think that school and work environments and expectations have stayed the same since 1968 and thus I should be able to do exactly what he did. Tis a wee bit frustrating.

True, but like I said, I do think that they need to add in a second or third "path" to leveling for the game to have a bit more longevity.

Hm, I know my SI did run into various player Republic characters on tattooine, seen them in passing, especially around the Sand People canyon area.. In fact I got partially disrupted by one git because I'd just been in a Heroic quest and buffed someone who had their PvP flag set, which automatically makes you PvP - I'd forgotten about it, and carried on questing, and just as I was trying to deal with some Sand People this git of a Jedi jumped me out of nowhere when I was in mid PVE fight and down to about 30% health. And I did run into Republic players when I was Sith on Alderaan. Possibly helped by the fact that during my exploration phase I went at high speed into the Organa Palace area without realising it.. I'm not saying that there aren't such places, just that they're usually designed such that you don't go INTO the enemies territory. On Alderaan I didn't even see an imperial, or their base. I got the feeling that they had a base and quests in the territories that I wasn't given them, but never much overlap. Don't know about Imps.... Ardath (Of the Senjak Legacy) my inquisitor just got there on Corellian Run, so we'll see. I do think they're gonna have to add more leveling pathways if they want to make the game have a longer lasting appeal.

The wierd thing on Alderaan was that it was set up as sort of a two house war... then as quests went on all of a sudden NPC's are screaming about House #3/4/5 appearing and messing stuff up. It honestly doesn't seem to have a cohesive story to it. And one thing that's getting frustrating to me is that the questing you do, on either side, never intersects with the questing of the other side until the very end. Part of this is from the fact that the two factions go through the area at different times (so everything you do as a Republic member, is undone by the Imps and vis versa), but also because the questing areas where you ARE the same level are put on opposite sides of a gigantic invisible wal so that you don't even see the other faction (particularly jarring on Nar Shadda where you go to all the same places, and see the enemy's trainers, but can't see the enemy players).

Then japan went and ruined it by blowing up pearl.

Psychonauts and another DOuble Fine game are on sale for 12 between em.

Note: The one in march will supposedly be designed to dramatically increase the Legacy system, and I expect will have a few more raiding instances. Edit:

I just found out that I can see my REAL post count instead of just the ones that count (11,805)

Thinking of replaying any on the Imperial side doesn't really seem that appealing, re-doing all the "kill $num of $mook" quests, etc. I might consider playing a Republic character, though, heh, PvP might be more than Huttball that way. For the record, it's probably best to do Rep-imp-rep-imp-rep-imp with different classes each time (so no Consular then Inquisitor or BH then Trooper one right after the other) because otherwise you're gonna be either doing the same "regular" questin, or the same class mechanics repeated.

That's the end of your act one? Or the midpoint between the four act 1 planets? I know for the guardian that midpoint boss is the wake up call that you need to use EVERY SINGLE ABILITY YOU OWN in order to win. Kick all of the casts Pop defensive cooldowns like a madman medpacks stims etc. Even when you outlevel the jerk by 3-4 levels you'll still get trounced fast if you don't do much more than stab.

WoW hasn't done to much overall, just minor optomization. It's just that the game is closing in on 10 years old and the graphics haven't been updated to stay "current" so everyone can play.

Whoa, a dude whose work was criticized gets mad about it? Too bad his point basically amounts to "she had an agenda!" Here, I've bolded what I was really looking at rather than the first part.

I cite 3 peer academic papers for peer review, you respond with a book designed for consumption by the audience. At least it has works cited. Stealing from the books wiki page

Nice biotruths, I'd like to see a scientific study verifying them! Oh wait, there is none, this is just pseudoscience! How do you explain asexuality or exclusive homosexuality?! Sexual promiscuity among women and sexual exclusivity among men?! Societal/sociological pressures change how people act/react. I'll look up studies when I have the time to, but as it is right now, researchers have started to notice that animals catch "teh ghey" if they're in a population where mating chances are slim. Although, if you're gonna go all "holier than thou" you could at least spent 10 minutes looking on google for the proper articles.

Missions still give you a hefty amount of credits, just not so many that you'd overflow.

I liked the old ones, they were simple. Now I can't just go around hitting the same button for every post I want to respond to, and there's the giant green "LIKE THIS" button, and it just feels like there's a lot of unnecessary schlock on here. Who here keeps an actual blog that we might actually use the "Blog This!" button? Also, the quote blocks and buttons seem to take up a LOT more room than previously, but that might just be the color scheme slapping me in the face.

YOU FAIL AS A CHANGING UNDERLING OF THE MAN!

There was a minor scandal earlier this year where the Department of Alchohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) was basically going to radio shack, getting cheap transmitters, and bugging a small heap of guns of all kinds (including assault weapons) and then selling them to the cartels. Of course, the thing that the project leaders forgot to realize is that Radio Shack transmitters only work for like 5 hours before they need a battery change. Messed around a bit in BF3. DICE really needs to learn that when you make an action set piece, you need to make your objectives somewhat not-crazy. They want me to bum rush, get an LMG while on a bridge where I have 0 cover and am getting shot at by every enemy and their cousin on the map.

Nor did Bush, and Gingrich would be in the same boat. Uhh... the Republicans currently have control of the House and Senate No... if you rolled back the Bush Tax Cuts, the debt would be gone by.. 2015(?). Most of the money spent has been to save the economy from a full on depression, and removing us from garbage that Bush started Which suits were these? I think that he sued AZ over the unconstitutional racial profiling bill, but haven't heard anything about the other states Seen absolutely ZERO info on this... anywhere He's the representative of the Majority Shareholder of a Company, he has that power. IIRC this was entirely on the director of the ATF, and Obama had no Knowledge of this at the time it was going on yeah, he screwed that one WAYY up. But the federal money to homeowners who put panels on their roofs (mixed with the money from the State of CA) made it highly economical for my parents to put em up (they went from paying 400 a month to 100 a year) Cite a source for the first part too please. Source How? From what I could tell, the Mineral Management department was in charge of that, and they've been institutionally corrupt since they started selling lots in the Gulf. As to the Keystone/North Bay pipelines, those jobs would have lasted a year or two at best until the project was finished, and the employees were, once again, out of a job. Is Obama the savior of the nation? No, but he inherited one hell of a bad nation, and the conservative spin-doctors have done their best to make all of the failures of the previous administration his fault, while re-crediting successes (like the assassination of Bin Laden) back to Bush and the torture doctrine he had in place. Are Texans calling for secession? I donno, but then Texas unoffical motto is "The south shall rise again! After I finish my next hundred beers!" Seriously, this is the same state that pushed a "day of prayer" for rain to end a drought.

Nope.... the end and will you mentioned would make it so that the item you're wearing was only using 1-2 mods instead of three. The only objects that have 3 mods are those that are orange, and thus have all their stats built around the mods placed within. For kicks, some people use the starting weapons and dancers armor their entire leveling process because they can.
