OK, well Humanoid has convinced me so far. But let's stress test my requirement. Suppose I went with a radically different solution. A Google Nexus 7. How would that fail my specs? It's going to win on weight, and I can do multimedia... I'm not just being perverse. It's really interesting to me to see how the discussion has gone so far. I'd like to push it further.

I think you're being unfair to creators there. The problem is creations oriented on a mass market. They inevitably fail to achieve depth. For the simple reason that resonating with a fool's worldview and resonating with a wise person's worldview are totally different jobs.

Balvenie 17 year portwood. Gave some to a friend yesterday and being a good friend he opened it immediately. Beautiful, strong, soft, dessert flavours of spice and toffee and apple. But not girly. A really good choice if you want to impress, and can afford the tag.
