  2. Bastilla initially said the game was officially announced. I think that is why people are upset. The game is not officially announced until we see a Press Release from LucasArts as they own KOTOR.

  4. There are console games that already respond to vocal commands. Again, there are plenty of PC games that are just silly twitch reflexes, where as there are console titles like Pucelle Tactics or Gladius that require a finer strategy. People shouldn't make blanket statements about an entire platform.
  5. Everyone who is a real person here is already playing. They just don't realize it. And cleverly, there is some XP already being earned in this thread.

  7. Again, the faults of Morrowind all appear to be corrected in Oblivion. That is saying a lot.
  8. I will argue that Zelda is not an RPG in ay sense. There is no stat-based gameplay, or character development. Nintendo classifies the game as Adventure title, and always has. I can't believe Diablo is being nominated alongside titles like Planescape Torment. Is the original poster looking for games with emphasis on story or action?
  9. I'll take FFX over PoR:2 any day. There are good and bad RPGs on both platforms. And this was never an RPG.
  10. I don't think the movie has anything to do with hyperdermic needles, so I'm chalking it up to imagination. It is a dark lovestory set in 3 time-periods at once.
  11. I'm almost beginning to think Sawyer is cursed. Next week all existing code on Seven Sorrows will magically disappear in a massive power surge, wiping out all the HDDs down in San Diego.
  12. Chaos Theory is almost like three games, if I can blatantly steal an opinion from the Penny Arcade crew. I have only really played the single player, but I have heard from any people the co-op and multiplayer versus are almost like standalone games themselves in how different they play. I guess in co-op, the game is fairly lengthy and it depends heavily on team communication. I like that they didn't just assume multiplayer would be deathmatch, or a co-op of the campaign.
  13. Baley gets 20 XP. I'll try to get a basic concept and page done sometime this week, but this week is pretty hectic. I'm going to do a list of attributes and skills that make up the game mechanics. Then I will design a visual layout. The webpage will break down what the skills mean. I might borrow from White Wolf and have Attributes, Skills, and Backgrounds. I will be pulling from the Flame Warriors website for inspiration. Here is what I was thinking we could do to "play" the game and start establishing official character sheets. Once we have the attributes, skills and backgrounds down, other forum posters will rate you. Then send a private email to me, in an account I will create. I will average the ratings in every attribute, skill and background from the received and create your character sheet. I will then post it so the whole world can see it. There will be a minimum requirement that 5 people rate you for you to get a character sheet. If you can't get 5 players to rate you, then you must not be a real character, but rather part of the simulation.

  25. With set APs, I think you NEED a random sequence number/initiative number to break the monotony.
