  1. Before Jonathan Brandis and Ted Raimi?
  2. But it's black and sexy, with cool blue lights! How can you deny the shiny-shiny? We can sell off our baby to afford the router!
  3. This is the baby I want... Click on it and check out all the awards it has won!
  4. The KOTOR engine has had issues with ATI. The very latest ATI drivers are supposed to improve this. Omega has been authorized by ATI to take their drivers and tweak them for gaming performance. Check out the Omega drivers and see if that helps. Your video card by the way is basically a crippled 9600, with disabled pipelines. Sadly, it is not always going to be able to deliver the performance you may be looking for.
  5. Here is hoping that K3 comes out!
  6. This can be done. However, most software licenses allow you to install the software on one PC and one PC alone. So you could do it, but you'd be violating the software license, and I don't believe the forum rules would allow anyone to tell you how to violate the software license. But welcome to the forums regardless!
  7. She was, though I think the movie overall was a bit overrated. I didn't see the point of A Beautiful Mind. I don't want to spoil the movie or sidetrack too much, but at the end of the movie absolutely nothing is resolved. The protagonist didn't evole, develop or anything. He did one meaningful thing early in the film, and then time passes. He ended up being a major pain to everyone around him, and made lives miserable. Add to that, the realists say several aspects of the real character's life was missing, including reports of abuse, and his divorce. The movie was also quite different from the one the trailers advertised. Great cast. Pretty decent director, but definately not Best Picture of the Year if you ask me. But yeah, she was in it, and she was hot as always!
  8. Many people who have played City of Heroes call it one of the best. It really isn't much more than an action-game with level-grinding, but it apparently does it quite well. The character creation and customization in the game is supposed to be clearly the best in the industry. Most of my friends tell me it takes over an hour to create and customize your character. They also don't believe in including things unless they feel they can nail the feature and get it right the first time. There is something to be said for that.
  9. The Dark Side openly ruled for 20 years. Palpatine was influencing policy for even longer.
  10. What is the most interesting bug you've discovered?
  11. From what I understand, the last thread was closed due to the somewhat obscene Hoff picture. Given that fanboy/fangirl threads have a predeliction of attractive half-clothed pictures, I don't know how much longer a third attempt at this thread will last. You can be a fan of things other than people, but let's try to keep it on-topic and open. I'll buy the forum a round of drinks if we can keep this open for 20 pages. Make sure to take me up on that offer. Now, I know Angelina Jolie got mentioned before so I won't post any new pictures of her. I respect her both as an absolutely sexy woman, and as a great actress. In that same boat I offer up Jennifer Connelly, who I'm not sure got mentioned before. Her acting resume is pretty killer, and she has been quite good in every role I've ever seen her in. I especially recommend Requiem For a Dream, a movie everyone needs to see. I also maintain a huge crush on Gillian Andersen. I don't care if people will always see her as Scully, she needs to be cast in something again.
  12. I've never even heard of gooseberries.
  13. A friend of mine almost had her internet service cut-off because someone was downloading tons of illegal content off her connection, and she swears it wasn't her. However, she hadn't locked down her wireless connection, and when I checked it out, her router showed several people connected (likely her neighbors). Most routers and adapters support WPA, and the newer ones support WEP. Either one will allow you to have an encrypted passkey necessary to access the network. If you don't want anyone to leech your access, then you'll need to set one up. It's fairly easy, but the process is different for each router. If you want to share freely with neighbors then you don't need to do anything. Most routers also have firewalls, so certain applications won't work properly behind a firewall. Certain online games, firesharing programs, etc. may require you to forward ports on the router. Again, this is pretty simple, but is different for each router. The ports you need to forward depend on the application, but DLink has a list of the common ones on their website (such as for Kazaa, bitTorrent, Battle.net, etc).
  14. I'm guessing the Fountain is a fountain of youth or life of some sorts. I do know one minor spoiler about the money, and I'm not spilling unless you really want to know. Arnofsky seemed a bit miffed when Rachel Weisz mentioned it. But I think we're looking into the Fountain on the website.
  15. I think it is a great idea. Right now it would mainly be NWN:2 news, but I'm fine with that. I also wouldn't mind know who is being hired, etc. On that subject is Akari still around? I was looking at the dev section looking to see if I could spot new hires for PNJ and I didn't see Akari in the moderator or developer group.
  16. Lady Crimson gets a cookie! The local morning radio show was stumped for a week and I don't believe they ever found the answer.
  17. You guys aren't making a sequel to PoR:2?
  18. I haven't heard why Sawyer left. We pretty much flat-out asked in the thread discussing the move, and he didn't say. I don't expect he will because he is a professional. Then again, I've heard he also went off in tirades about the D&D license and publishers, so who knows?
  19. Morrowind lends itself to ranged/blaster combat than NWN. I say take Morrowind with some skilled artists and make a Non-Jedi focused Star Wars mod. There are plenty of Star Wars models used in other games. People probably developed said models in 3DStudioMax. You can probably ask the authors for the original 3DSM files and then convert them to Morrowind models.
  20. I thought the same for a moment, but instead of spikes, it is a bunch of leaves.
  21. I have DLink cards and routers and never had a problem. The DLINK DWL-4300G is perhaps the best router I've seen for home-use. It have Gamer Fuel technology, a super-fast processor, supports over 10,000 simultanenous connections, supports Super G, and gigabit.
  22. Nice suggestion. Someone suggested to me that the yellow, bushy looking thing is supposed be fig leaves, but figs grow on trees, but bushes.
  23. The are four fruits in the Fruit of the Loom logo. There are two types of grapes, because grapes apparenlty deserve two spots. Then you have an apple, which makes sense. What the heck is the fourth fruit? http://www.fruitcountryvideo.com/
  24. The best on the market right now is 802.11g with Super G technology. It allows up to 108mbit/second. I like the DLink and Linksys routers personally. If you need help down the road with specific settings or questions, just give me a holler. I don't charge for tech support, where as Netgear charges $30 a call.
  25. Why would Authority edit a post about Kaftan? "
