And right you'll always be if you don't change exactly that fatal opinion of the american (and worldwide) public now.

deadly nightshade: true. Nietzsche himself doesn't think well of nihilists, I recommend you reread some of his points about that matter. In fact, he thinks people following religion are nihilists because they delay living their life to an afterlife, and the ideal would be to overcome that. He was very agreeing on life, not on death or nothing - most people just don't seem to get this Meshugger: Your post shows much of the reasons for a common mistake: People don't become that hateful because of (abusing) Nietzsche or listening to Black Metal. People are made that by others. You aren't likely to go out and kill people (except probably in some dangerous cases of schizophrenia) if you've got friends, if there are people treating you well, if your parents respect you for what you are, or at least leave you alone if you need that. The beginning is really as simple as that. I agree that there might be a common cause of people turning to the "darker" side of life and people killing others. It's that cause that needs to be condemned, not the lifestyle that might result of such a cause (and actually might prevent you from hurting others, because you've found a good way to deal with the **** that has been done to you). The cause is the (probably casual and careless) cruelty of others. Aram: Yes, and what an ethos. It was simplistic, cruel, irrational... Everything is an ethos by definition: Ethos = habit, way of life... Great remark, really... jokes: Death can be a reason for sadness - and for ways of dealing with it, not the worst one of which is humor.

Walsingham, definitions of left and right (in a political sense of course ) are bound to differ, and that seems to be the case in the whole Sarkozy-matter. The cited parts of his speech seem brown-nose, no reason for me to become a fan just because he's reasonable enough not to engrave differences between France and the USA... But each to his own

The patch is worth the wait, fixes quite some issues. The game was worth the wait too! BG1-feeling with a few annoyances (loading of bigger areas is often necessary because of going into and out of houses, and this process is really slow on my machine with "only" 1GB of RAM)

I rather liked the spirit meter, it didn't feel like a way out of a flawed resting system, but a serious reason to get rid of the curse as fast as possible. Anyway, as I played a good character and suppressed the hunger or (don't read, rhomal) I never had any problems with time running out. Yes, I had ability penalties with my spirit meter sometimes as low as 25 or so, yes it did damage my character over time, but hey, no problem really, there are items boosting regeneration far over the 1dx damage you take every soandso rounds... regeneration does stack in the game, btw. Spirit meter a reason for cheating? *shrugs* Imo not really, much more a reason for clever and stringent play, and moral decisions as well.

If money weren't an issue, i'd buy at least such a keyboard, but at over 1000$... if time weren't an issue and I'd be able to, I'd build such a thing myself... There's a lot of "if"s unfortunately

I just compared VtMB to "Angel" and, well, they are similar indeed - however, the theme basically consists of two notes, one of which is repeated multiple times in a certain rhythm. Can't do much different things with one note [edit] I just read the manual, title track is indeed by ministry's al jourgensen. they don't mention ASP's track (played at that church-club with venus) in there, strange... also, there were collide posters ingame, but no piece of music by them [edit2] why isn't there a sad smilie...

I wonder what became of the right-wing, rather repugnant politician... So, link would be appreciated

some of the best sountracks I know were already named, people here show good taste I love - PS: T, the soundtrack (and the soundeffects) are part of why this is the best game I've played - Quest for Glory V (didn't play the predecessors) - Icewind Dale (IwD2 sounded annoyingly bad in most places imo) - Baten Kaitos - Total Annihilation (Soule at his best ) - Some tracks from Etherlords - Some tracks from Darkstone - Zelda: Ocarina of Time (I don't know if it still holds a top position nowadays, but man that was cool when the game came out!) - Some tracks of The Dark Eye 3: Shadows over Riva - Vampire Bloodlines (title-track = ripoff? It does sound like Massive Attack, but it's not a copy... I like all the original game music and the licensed titles) - Outcast (oh man... time flies! it was wonderfully fitting the scenery, when coming out of this first daoka you heard that music...) - Some tracks of BG2 (I noticed that I liked the ones from BG1 mostly for nostalgic reasons, not because of quality...) - Some tracks from NWN2: MotB (not all were memorable, but those who were, were very good) - Some tracks from the Witcher - Omikron: The nomad soul (It's Bowie, you know ) Also, GSoundtracks has reviews that mostly fit my taste, if it weren't for the dislike of rock and electronics

How far have you gotten in MoTB?

I've played it through once with my good ranger/druid from the OC, but I'll replay it with one of the new classes in a more chaotic or evil way as soon as I have the time. Great addon, very intriguing and a lot of replay value -
monica richards - a good thing cool trackname for a good song

damn, people should stick that word back to where it came from. nothing against you, starwars, but the general emo-calling of today, nowadays everything is "emo" from the latest casting-band to old shool goth, from depressed housewife to maniac cocain addict... i hate it! now i'm emo too, especially if i love motb at the same time, aren't i...
