Relativity is also very difficult to claim to be maintained at sub-atomic level You're mixing it up with quantum mechanics - or I'm mistaken of course.
  3. Overview of current marketing scams, part 2: on 3DCenter (german, google translation, but note that "X percent power loss for the same price cut" is a very misleading 'translation' as it actually means "X percent less in performance for the same average price")

I haven't heard of Platon or Euclid in mechanics (except for the latter maybe: that non-parallel lines cross, two points can be connected via a line, and stuff like that, i.e. euclidean geometry, is significant as well), and that Newton's law applies to Newtonian physics is... well, it's redundant As for this: Indeed that would interest me as well, but the LHC won't be back up and running for a while. So until then I stay tuned for more news on the memristors and hope that the next posting in this thread will not disappoint me in that respect And: I don't want to kill this thread so don't let this post derail it further...
  5. Three 280 do eat power for breakfast for sure. Good luck in getting that monster of a PC up and running!
  6. Sponsor?
  7. The old spittlefaced dodderer would probably not be able to change his pyjamas for two weeks if he got drunk, so his girls keep him from drinking to keep the air a bit fresher. Good luck D_R. Today, I've had quite a lot of time on my hands even if I worked for University
  8. Total Annihilation - The March Unto Death This game has a top notch soundtrack. Just top. And I see a lot of Opeth and Deathstars and Beirut around here - this board's a good place to be
  9. Opinion will be posted as soon as I've played the game.
  10. Saw that some days ago, too. Unrealistic and the music was horrible - yet it was ejoyable and quite funny.
  11. I've seen BenX yesterday. and sad. It was innovative and funny how they used these little MMORPG elements to describe situations. It was depressing to see these **** of school-"colleagues" mobbing the protagonist to death, it reminded me of school. As a completely irrelevant sidenote: Flemish is a funny language.
  12. Just tested it, it's fine in IE 6 too
  13. What about posting the section of the css responsible for that image here? There are many css-files mentioned on your page. What can also cause issues is incorrect markup, because it then depends even more on the browser how things are interpreted. Check this out: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%...ine&group=0
  14. Yeah, that's why I'll order them from Canada - prices over here are ridiculous (about 65 USD).
  15. Still at SoZ, too much to do to really invest time - great game, I'm really surprised how well NWN2 works for me: The OC had it's superb moments and was very good all in all, MotB was great, and SoZ is very addictive. This is the reason why it's on a temporary hiatus until I finish my university stuff for this semester. Started Puzzle Quest for nice little game during breaks, and it's solid fun I also spend some "gaming time" watching my gf playing Okami and Zelda: Twilight Princess - two really good games I find, even if I can't really judge gameplay which seems a bit suboptimal for Okami (Wii).
  16. Well... best wishes from me. Pie's always good
  17. This game is the final thing it took to convince me to get one - a DS Lite that is, as the DSi will include region coding... Only 140 $ (canadian), half as expensive as it is here O_o
  18. Bought tickets for the Tiamat / 69 Eyes / Novembre gig in February Also, I got unexpectedly positive feedback on FotN's 'Endemoniada' that I foolishly recommended to a pop / melodic indie rock listener.
  19. it's "memento mori"...
  20. Nice The more vendors, the better for us customers. Gainward proved valuable already, now XFX... Keep em coming As far as replacing stock cooling goes: my gf's Zotac card is the first card I've ever seen allowing this without losing the warranty, and we both have already been through an array of nVidia and ATI cards. For ATI, if one wanted to keep the warranty but liked a different cooler, one had to pick a HIS ICEQ, one of the modified Club3D ones or lately one of Gainward's lineup. Like Zotac, I've rarely seen any XFX (or BFG for that matter) cards in my country. It's now that things even here are getting interesting
  21. well... it didn't work... another attempt at a lullaby Mazzy Star - All Your Sisters
  22. Tiamat - Do you dream of me What a good song for ... sleep ... ...
  23. From a random thread on the NWN2 boards: http://nwn2forums.bioware.com/forums/viewt...m=128&sp=30
  24. You mean in hideaway? They're forced to be there and do not like each other at all Or wait, was there a balor instead of a pit fiend spawning alongside with some devils on farm?
