It's a Be Quiet! PSU, isn't it? First, you could take those descriptive labels away if they get in your way Test the board without any fan connected to the PSU, older revisions of Be Quiet's PSUs could fault if something was wrong with the fan connectors. If you plug them in again, don't connect more than one fan per connector (those labels on the cables say that). The graphics card's connector looks a bit like it's not entirely plugged into the slot, you can see quite a bit of the metal connectors. Make sure the back side of the mainboard does not get in contact with the case. [edit]Oops, it's not a Be Quiet. But you could test it that way anyway also, I can recommend to test with one stick of ram, the graphics card, the cpu and nothing else connected first, then add one piece of hardware after another and see until which point it still runs.

Shryke: Take off your cap then Walsingham: In the restricted sense that I use it, it's how people write in postcolonial studies. Postcolonial studies encompass social studies on former colonies; studies of their literature; cultural changes; and last but not least on how people talk / write - thus think - about colonialism, imperialism, countries that were involved in it, people that are from africa, asia (s-e-asia is my focus), south america; european, us-american, japanese ... hybris and much more. You could google for postcolonialism, orientalism (Said), subalterns (Spivak), hybridity (Bhaba). It's also interesting that there is still a lot left from the colonial discourses (i.e. legitimation through race, culture, bringing freedom, true belief, etc.) that is still deeply rooted within us, even in anti-colonial writings, in children's books (-> uncle tom's cabin as an example of well-meant perpetuation of prejudices, not to mention the overtly racist stuff that's still around in many a kid's shelf) and songs, in newspapers, even in our geographical ideas! Once you get a little conscious of language, it's pretty horrid actually Conventional metaphors are a good point to start looking, but it's a never ending field. Ahem. What I'm doing is actually describe the current state of the discourse as found in papers / articles / books on the discourse itself, and in papers / articles / books that are part of the discourse (the former are automatically part of the latter). Spice it up down with a little background on discourse (Foucault), discourse analysis (Fairclough) and colonialism (history books), et voil

Walsingham: Dark Tranquillity - Indifferent Suns I'm forever spoilt towards melodic death, I don't think anything comes close to Dark Tranquillity in melodic quality. The lyrics are pretty awesome too, I mean, this is metal, but the song begins with "And although it can be argued, whether..." The only thing they lack is a better mix for their earlier stuff, and maybe a better synth.

True. I had to read the material beforehand anyway, because I'm not at all an expert on postcolonial discourse, nor of discourse analysis in general, and I'm not one of history or geography either... Desipte this, half of the essay's done now

Installed WLAN today, which made our flat appear a little less cluttered without all those cables. And our Wii is online too, now Not the DS, as we would have to set security ridiculously low (WEP). But most of my time was spent reading for a short paper due on friday. It has to (ridiculous prerequisite) include so much secondary literature that every other sentence will need a footnote...

Do what he did, test it indivually. If the processor really is ok, the board's faulting. Although sometimes, it's something like a loose RAM module, graphics card, PSU-connector, HDD cable... that causes such errors.

[edit] Sorry. That's completely offtopic. I spoilt it now

Strange days of Bioware Unfortunately, it's not easily recognizable that this is a smoking dog riding a torpedo firing two magnums with some of his six legs at farting dwarves. Is Hawkins spoken by Futurama's Professor? I mean, do they have the same voice over-guy, or is it just a certain similarity in character?

He also livin in such a pr0n-room? I like Sie being an appropriately beefy girl, but really, that colour choices... I'm glad there's a male npc with a similarly sick sense of styling.

Is this effect true for all kinds of sage? We use sage tea here when feeling ill, use it in meat seasoning etc.

Yep, people like them. Make sure you google for its name and 'input lag' first, though, as some Samsungs are notoriously slow in recations, which will make you miss in shooters all the time. 5ns is easily fast enough, but smaller numbers often also mean newer panel, which is a good thing, sometimes. Be sure to check if those numbers are achieved using 'Overdrive' though, as this technique again causes input lag and some enervating ghosting. Also, such small numbers mean you're probably looking at TN-panels. If you like good colour reproduction, be sure to check reviews that take a look at that. TN panels are not the best choice for image quality, but they're fast (thus good for gaming) and cheap. I'd currently go with 24" or bigger with 1920x1080 for full HD on 16:9 screens or 1920x1200 on 16:10 screens. You'll need a relatively fast computer to run games at the native resolution though. If going 30" 16:10, 2560:1600 is standard size. Unless your monitor is broken, fickering is more likely to be caused by a broken cable or graphics card. Concerning "Full HD" etc: Both monitor and graphics card must offer support HDCP to see HD material on your PC. On a 16:10 screen, you'll obviously have small black bars at the top and the bottom if watching a 16:9 movie. Otoh, many movies are even wider, so you'll have to live with black bars even on a 16:9 screen (unless you use pan&scan in which case you're doomed anyway )

That's good, Mr. Hussey said they're not goth, and so did you If you can do Keenan, you'll be able to do the Hussey as well, I wouldn't worry Had a totally useless day. Wanted to go to two different libraries to gather some theoretical material for a paper I have to write. The first one was so idiotically badly placed on a low-res map from our university that I wasn't able to find it for like half an hour, and when I got there, it was closed for the afternoon because of some renovations. I then grudgingly wanted to go to the second one, but there were no more busses or streetcars because of building sites and car crashes in the street. So I had to walk some kilometres back to the railway station. At least the weather was superb and I got some flirtatious looks from some girls (and a guy), but no invitations. At home, I spent hours reading reviews (man, harddisks are more difficult to choose than I thought!) and then spending some hard(ly? ) earned money on my new PC, hopefully I thought of all the necessary parts It's damn tough to find RAM within the normal specification that isn't plain slow! I'm going to cook now.

Did you watch the presentation? If said yanker was added to the wave, he could indeed change the name of your main character to Gordon, but it would be a visible change. You can see the whole history of changes, and if need be, kick the guy out of your wave or/and restart a new one with trustworthier people in it, from a certain point in the history before the changes were made. -

This is awesome It's a bit much to grab at once, but I can see it integrated everywhere, instead of IM, Boards, SVN... I'm pretty excited about this. -
