  1. Actually, thinking about that it would be neat to have a "core" group of party members (maybe 3 or 4, plus the 2 droids) and then the remainder that fills out your party are planet-specific characters that join you while you're on that planet. For instance, a wookiee would join you if you had some kind of conflict to resolve on Kashyyyk. Or a Twi'lek would join you if one planet involved maybe some kind of slave ring that you had to destroy. But then as soon as you left the planet or the conflict was resolved, they said their goodbyes in a cutscene or dialogue.
  2. Then speak for yourself. What part of "don't use *we*" don't you get? State clearly that "I, DarthMacLeod, feel...." rather than speaking for every other person and saying that Obsidian somehow wronged us, as if you know what we are thinking.
  3. Do you have to whine in EVERY post you make? This was a good article. Obsidian ADMITTED some errors in judgement and acknowledged where they screwed up. Yet you still have to post the same whining diatribe. And btw, stop speaking for everyone. I enjoyed my experience. So while I'll use the word *I* since I can only speak for myself, please don't say *we* when posting your feelings on the game. Thank you.
  4. Revan sucks as a female mainly because the main romance option in the game (Bastila) is MUCH more deeply written and fleshed out. If Revan is female, then Bastila becomes all but obsolete, which isn't the case.
  5. Well no, because in the Bendak fight you were collecting bounties for cash, and winning the tournament for prestige. There was no "good" reason for you to fight him. Whereas with Davrel, as was said, Mandalorians would have seen it as a "good" deed that you allowed him to face you in combat and defeated him fairly in combat.
  6. Yes. As illustrated in my posts early on in this thread. But to summarize, because I don't see it as evidence that PC RPGs will become a thing of the past.
  7. Both are better suited as males. "
  8. That's one thing I do miss from K1, the NPC specific sidequests.
  9. Apparently the game's biggest fault is it is too short. And the biggest cry after completing it was for the producers to create a Lego Star Wars game for the OT ..! (w00t) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> *Shakes fist* Is that any way to treat your future son-in-law?
  10. He has to. He's a mod. It's one of their mandates.
  11. I'll spam the channel with questions if I want to spam the channel! I'll especially PM you all the time: "what do I do now?" "how about now?" "and now?" "wait, i forget what you said. what do i do now?" "well?"
  12. I'll still have no clue what I'm doing.
  13. It's also good they acknowledge that some of the NPC's had too few influence opportunities. I felt that Bao-Dur especially is a pain in the butt to influence (in 4 play throughs I've still never gotten his full story) because there just aren't many opportunities for him, and if you screw up even one time it's likely near impossible to get full influence with him.
  14. Interesting part about the random item generator and why they did it. I'm still not a big fan of the system, but after reading the article I can understand the idea behind implementing it.
  15. I don't think it was ever reported destroyed. And we don't always "see" things that happen, otherwise suspense is ruined.
  16. I should be available this week (if I'm still wanted *sobs*). I'll be the n00b walking around having no clue what he's doing.
  17. See, I knew it. But what do we know :alanschu:, we're not moderators. "
  18. So you judge a game based purely on whether it has no bugs?
  19. No, you're not. But at the same time I'd still like to see a SW RPG where you can play as a non-Force sensitive. But I agree it shouldn't be K3 (or the KOTOR series at all for that matter), and it would be nice if K3 was wrapped up first.
  20. I really like this one.
  21. Exactly what do you mean by "fun and surprising"?
  22. [Mod edit] Be nice to Jags. He's fragile.
  23. What house? Maybe I can outbid you.
  24. I could do without Froddo messing things up all the time. <_<
  25. Jodo's post per day is about 20 and up to about 1400 total posts, but if you only count posts with more than one sentence he's closing in on 10 posts any day now.
