  1. When you help an old lady across the street, you pause for a second and say: "Lightside Points Gained"
  2. I had problems with this, too, when I first started playing. However, after playing the game a couple of times...I sometimes just 'bash' or Destory the console. You don't get any experiance points, but it is an alternative option to the advice people have said above.
  3. There was an article on msn.co.uk saying that he wanted to make the movies again, but in 3-D, and releasing one of them a year. I was'nt sure whether I liked the idea, or not.
  4. I think you're assessment is absolutely right... Mark Hamil and Carrie Fisher really were no better than Hayden Christiansen and Natalie Portman, but people were a lot younger and the culture was significantly less cynical about epic adventure movies. It should also be noted that the scripts for the OT were pretty stinkin bad as well. The appeal of Star Wars movies was never the well written dialogue. Harrison Ford told Lucas "You can write this s*#!, but you sure can't say it!" But now in our culture you're so much smarter and cooler if you hate stuff and we care a lot more about subtlety and we're quite cynical when it comes to our movies. Back then, George Lucas was doing something that really hadn't been done before, now it's been done a million times over. I don't think George has gotten any worse, people just grew up, unfortunately. As for me though, I enjoyed and still enjoy the prequels thoroughly because they have the same spirit and grandeur of the first movies, and they deal with the same archetypal human themes. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree with you It's a shame, though. The prequels aren't awful, in my opinion. I really enjoyed Episode I, but not so much as Episode II. Reasons as to why, was because I had somehow managed to get a drafted copy of the script, and heard so many spoilers, that I ended up not liking it as much. I think Revenge of the Sith is going to be great
  5. Maybe someone has mentioned this already...I haven't looked through all the pages! Semi Spoiler When you talk to Mira for the first time, and she begins to discuss your face. 'You have this glow on you...' -Mira 'When one is touched by the Force, others can feel it" - PC "It shows....hm...you haven't been chewing on spice, have you?" Mira Made me chuckle Oh yeah. When you've finally gotten of the Peragus Space Station and you're heading to Telos, Atton says something like "...being chased by Sith Assassins, and a Dark Lord that looks as if he sleeps with Vibroblades.' Haha, brilliant stuff imo
  6. This movie looks brilliant! As Lord Satasn said, the part with Sidious is crazy! The roar he has before it cuts was freaky. I read somewhere the GL said this movie is gonna be PG-13...eep.
  7. Yeah, I guess he was a bit too easy to beat. Sad though. But for some reason, I get the feeling that we won't be seeing the last of Nihilus... Not sure whether I'm wrong (probably am), but maybe he might be back in KotOR III?...
  8. I quite liked the Music Soundtrack. Compared to KotOR I, I enjoyed it. They were both epics, though!
  9. Yeah, same with me. For me, I found the Force Enlightment thing a massive help...
  10. So you had only mind trick not confusion? So in theory you could convert them to fight for you, maybe. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Haha, I'm a little confused now... I think when they were all together, and I use Mind Trick on them, they fought each other for a little while. But when I had one of them on their own, it just floated in air, allowing to slap it down with my lightsaber
  11. You can mindtrick the sabers?...odd. Oh and I remember reading from somewhere that you can force crush these guys, don't know for certain, my DS character isn't finished yet. If that is true, than they're really easy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, I dunno what it does, I think it just might be a save. But they don't attack for a couple of moments, which gave me time to attack them.
  12. Yeah, I agree about the lightsabers at the end....didn't see that coming! I manage to cheat a little a get all three by themselves, and Mind Trick them. It was still quite difficult though.
  13. Well, I just finished the game on Monday, and had a great week playing it. Quite a nice experiance, considering I had not touched the xbox or kotor for a couple of months, because of school. I was just wondering, maybe I'm the only one , but when I was fighting the main Sith Lords, such as Nihilus, Sion, and Kreia, I came across some difficulties. Nihilus was incredibly easy to beat, and I was expecting a little more, considering he looked pretty powerful on the game cover and spoken throughout the game. I've read that people were not too impressed, but he was enough to keep me playing. Sion on the other hand was pretty hard, and I almost felt like giving up. It was lucky that I had Master Force Wave and Master Heal, because I would've died pretty quick.. And Kreia was worste, I could barely hurt her, and I had to run away (screaming). So I was wondering whether people on here had problems beating mainly Sion and Kreia? Thanks
  14. It's two months I guess. Hopefully I'm getting Halo 2 this Saturday, and definately getting Battlefront, so they'll keep be preoccupied. But this is quite bad, considering its quite tempting to look at the Spoilers and stuff. I agree on the point about Halo 2, that it came out only a few days after the US version. If only TSL was like that! haha. Least I know I won't be depressed, considering the good rating it got. I'm patient as well, and it won't be too long until February, really.
  15. Same I cant wait though still. I haven't played kotor in ages. I'll start playing before kotorII comes out in Feburary. This game looks really good!
  16. For some reason, i get the feeling that this is where we will first encounter the guy with the mask or Darth Sion. I think our player opens something and we awake one of them...or Dark Lords in general.
  17. Cool, thanks for clearing it up for me.
  18. Sorry if this has been discussed before hand, but from what I've heard and seen... it seems like we wont have the same thing as in KotOR I where you can choose which planet you can go to. It seems like we're going to have to go through a fixed order of planets Don't know if I'm right or not. Does anybody know? Cheers.
  19. Hah, cool. Interesting. And I didnt realize all that stuff that guy said about the names Malak and Revan...how they were related to Hebrew.
  20. Male first then maybe female. Whenever I use female is normally for darkside only in kotor
  21. She reminds me of Cruella Devil in 101 Dalmations a lil bit. She aint that bad, but i was looking forward to the Concept Art version.
  22. I think i will stick to my usual Double Bladed Green lightsaber, either that or Black ( if thats gonna be in the game) Pink would look cool
  23. Hey, this is my first post on these forums. For those of you who might of remembered me from the old Kotor forum, my name was The Guardian Of The Jedi. But the one thing that annoyed me, was when i realized i spelt it wrong! Ah well. Nice to see there are some of you from the old boards here.
