Obsidians Fall
Yeah, because people don't like the game, means we automatically dont understand it. But see, while I waste time on a forum bitching about a game that I *DO* understand, you waste time bitching on a forum about people like me. It's a double edged sword, ace, so suck it up.

For those who have passed the game
Same thing will happen, but if you're dark, why the hell would you let them live? Crush their skulls into the pavement.

HELP PLZ~!
No...smash the ****ing console to pieces, 10 times quicker.

Jedi Guardian gripes
Soloing is stupid because you miss out on the dialogue and the influence crap. I know there's barely inter-party dialogue, but still. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> influence crap... Such truth.

Jedi Guardian gripes
I didn't realize it was that close, I thought that Guardians got 1 feat per level... Sucks to pick them then.

Cliff Hanger or Tidy ending.
You and about 3 other people in the gaming world.

What about the Miralukas?
Two nights in a row you've called me that, hopefully we'll make it three tomorrow.

What about the Miralukas?
A planet full of dead people? Come on, tell the truth. You'd be there, pants around your ankles singing Wanted Dead or Alive. (pun intended)

Cinematic endings or text based endings?
I think the only time story can be completely sacrificed, is when the gameplay is unmatched by any game in the world (Ninja Gaiden for XBOX).

the JOURNEY or the ENDING
I agree that they are both important and needed, but I think the ending leaves more of an effect. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It does, cause it's the last thing people see. If you went to a 5 star restaurant and had the best meal of your life, and while you were leaving you saw a waiter picking his nose and another sneazing in someones food, would you ever go back? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Then props to you, cause 99% of the public wouldn't.

Cinematic endings or text based endings?
The same that like books, Morrowind, Planescape: Torment or old school RPG's? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I voted for text since there was no "Both" option. I think cinematics would go along more with the theme of gaming, but I wouldn't see anything wrong with text and narration if it was done right. I mean, in a place where things scream faster, better, bigger, more; its nice to retreat into the past and how things were communicated. Some would fit better with certain elements that they were placed in. If there is a RPG that concentrates on story, it could get away. However, a FPS probably wouldn't. It all depends on the audience and the developer. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Plus, developers that use FMV endings are always lazy and never DO anything with them. We see a few kabooms, maybe a falling building, or a big crowd, or the hero running/driving away, or some stupid camera pull back from a demolished planet, panning into space and then credits. It's a cheap cop out, put thought into endings, make sure the last part the gamer sees makes them think "awsome", and not "WTF".

Your strongest Lightsaber
Wow, I forgot about this, I was supposed to check. Qixoni, personal crystal, and max damage parts on the other half, like +4 damage and whatnot on each part. lvl 15 sentinel lvl 35 sith master ~30-60 per hit (not loading up to just check damage right now) I didn't think it was that high... With strength mods, and dueling feat I'd think it'd be easy to get that. Hell, I think I swung the thing MAYBE 5 times after getting force storm...

the JOURNEY or the ENDING
They both have their own importance, and you can't sacrifice one for the other. <queue KOTOR 2> See what happens when one is missing and the other is cheapened?

Cinematic endings or text based endings?
You can't "finish" Morrowind, that's the beauty of it, you just play until you're done. Um, that's arguable. After beating Horrigan in FO2 you got a nice cutscene and slideshow ending, but after that you were returned to the mainland where you could still play. I don't see how any game benefits from being the neverending story. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Have you played Morrowind?

Cinematic endings or text based endings?
You can't "finish" Morrowind, that's the beauty of it, you just play until you're done. When you kill the last boss in fable, you're presented with two choices. Once you make that choice it shows one of two pictures. A very short narration happens and the credits roll. Nothing even remotely cinematic about it. But if you watch the credit, you can keep playing your hero in the world, which is pretty fun, if you're into the whole "sandbox" element.
