hmmm... The only things I remember doing were: Supporting the movement against the queen with that crowd of people. Killing the guards for that one woman. Telling those two guys that I supported Vaklu that you meet when next to the sky ramp. When Vaklu's guys showed up in the bar while meeting with Kavar, I told them that I wanted to kill him after he ran away. Used battle meditation for Vaklu's troops in the throne room. I don't recall doing anything else "special". Kavar told the queen he feared for their safety or something like that, because "an old apprentice had returned". When I met Kavar in the throne room, he knew I was there to slaughter him.

I never claimed they bothered you, rather I said, if they did you need to think for yourself, and if they don't and you can think for yourself, then the whole "move on and get over it" thing applies. sarcasm But hold on a moment, I have to make another check mark on the dry erase board in my office, coutning the number of threads I've derailed... /sarcasm

Why is duel wielding made superior in KotOR II?

It's so hard to maintain your level of quality though. I mean, the whole S P A M thing is just too good to top. You have irony in its most basic form, which is just undeniably masterful in terms of posting quality. -
Yep, but the whole "it's how the developers intended" arguement that fans love to use will come into play shortly afterwards.

rinse and repeat -
It doesn't matter what you do. By the end of the game, you'll be walking death. Wether it's from doing 10 zillion damage per hit with your saber, or 40 zillion damage per force storm/force choke. Sadly, you get so many freaking force points, that it doesn't matter what class you pick, you'll end up being sort of the same by games end. Minus a bonus or two that ends up being moot anyway.

One of the funniest things I've read in my time on these forums. S P A M <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Pot... Meet Kettle. -
Just checked most of my post history (got bored after like 5 pages - feel free to check further, I won't cry if you prove me wrong), I've only said something close to "KOTOR 2 sucks" twice, once today, as a mocking joke after a more serious post, and once a while back to you, when I said "the bugs and glitches alone make it suck", in response to a comment you made about it not sucking or something like that. Otherwise, I don't see where I've entered in countless threads and told everyone that liked/loved the game "no, the game sucks". Rather, just responding to those claiming the game is perfect/flawless, or that people experiencing problems are stupid and can't pay attention, or modding their xbox, or are making them up. It has nothing to do with "being cool and whatnot". It's the simple fact that I'm secure enough in whatever I believe in, or whatever I do, that nobody can bring me down. I can't help, nor care about the fact that you, or someone else is missing the ability to think and believe for yourself. If you *do* have the ability to think for yourself, then why bother getting all huffy over something written on an internet forum? RAAOOOARRAOARARRR!! I AM AN INTARWEB BADASS PHEAR MEH!!!! *sigh* To echo the thoughts you implied to me in a previous post. Get over it and move on. Take care won't ya?

I derail threads? Really? Awesomeness!@ Actually, if you took the time to read through every thread (which I'm sure you'd HAVE to do to make this sweeping generalization about all my posts), you'd notice that I only use the term fanboy when someone claims the game is flawless and/or that all bugs/glitches are the users fault. Otheriwse, as you claim, I'd be in *every* thread, yelling at everyone that likes the game. Something I don't do. I answer a question like "did you like KOTOR 2", with a "no" and leave it at that, until someone comes in claiming everyone that has bugs/glitches are idiots not paying enough attention to detail. If I was as you claim, I'd also respond to the tool that posted a few back, spouting off about how he also claims to have the knowledge that the only serious bugs people experience are because they exploit and/or use a modded xbox. I could ramble on and on about how my box isn't modded, since I play on Live all the time, and in both games I played, I had random crashes, lock up, missing dialogs, skipped cutscenes, force powers not working, battle queue system jacking up and launching force storm & flurry at the same time for example. But it has to be because I didn't pay attention to what was said in dialog right? I'm sure that Kreia or Atton told me that if I didn't save right at that moment, turn off my console and run around the block naked screaming Jesus Loves Me that the game would crash during the next cut scene. Or perhaps Bao-Dur told me while he was repairing the ship, that if I tried to queue attacks, and then change my mind or tactics because something didn't work as planned that it would "combine" my attack queues and launch double strikes. Sure. It's not that I think that highly of myself, it's that I think that little of you and/or your generalizations. (w00t)

Oh, I didn't realize that once you deemed you didn't like something that you are then forced to never speak of it again. Or never give opinions on it again. It's an interesting theory, I'll think about it next time I'm taking a ****. Actually, I post my opinions about the game, in threads asking for opinions. Unlike most people, I don't post in every thread just to be seen, rather I post in ones where I want to say something. It so deeply wounds my online feelings that your real life feelings seem to be hurt because I haven't "gone away" or "moved on". I'm sure you can google a local therapist to help you get over the emotional trauma I have caused you by posting negative thoughts on a product I spent money on. If the pain is just too much to handle, then just PM me the city/state you live in, and I'll google it for you, and send you names/phone numbers I find, in the hopes you won't have to spend the last ounce of energy you have doing an internet search. I'll even go out of my way to set up a taxi pickup if you feel you wouldn't have the strength to drive yourself to the destination. I do send my deepest e-sympathies from my e-heart, and wish you a speedy recovery.

"Anakin fanboi"? Wow, I didn't know I could be a fanboy for a character and/or set of movies that I'm not even a hardcore fan of. NEAT! I would classify backpedaling and deflecting blows being a defensive maneuver. -
I'm never serious when I'm online, and I never take anything anyone says seriously, but I guess I'll leave that persona for a moment and just say a few things to you, from the heart without being too serious and "parent-like". Always do your best in everything you do. Excel in whatever task is given to you, or that you chose to take. Whether you're donating your time, or getting paid for your time, you should always look at it as a direct reflection on you, as a person. When you choose to do reviews for a fansite such as this, not only are you being judged as a person, but the entire website is being judged by your reviews. It may be "just a fansite" to you, but it has the potential to become something much larger to someone else. If you're not interested enough to always put your best foot forward, then why even bother in the first place? I do a *lot* of pro bono work, and regardless of whether I'm designing a website for money, or doing a brochure for an organization for free during my spare time, I always do the very best that my talents allow me to. It's sometimes a thankless job, but it's still appreciated, and says volumes for you as a person. Anyway... ummm... KOTOR 2 sucks! RaaahhH!! k?

Nar Shadda for the first planet. Much quicker lightsaber, since you can have it before facing the master there. Plus, you get Attons back story stuff revealed quicker, and you finish HK. -

Lets see.... From memory here - Anakin charges, dooku owns him with lightning. Obi fights, gets cut a few times, Anakin dives in and saves him. Obi throws Anakin his saber, and Anakin starts swinging and Dooku begins to backpedal... For a *moment* Dooku was on the defensive, until Anakin stopped swinging, and Dooku either cut his arm off, or the lightsaber, I don't remember. But ok, Star Wars master, you see it a different way, neato. Until Anakin kills him in ep 3. -
its so damned frustrating...sometimes you can just make it out alive if you have some luck but sometimes you will want to smash the game to pieces. eg. in one area you have to kill 10 super ninja's and 10 more minor ninja's then 3 of the biggest red demons you have ever seen and then you are treated to a lovely cutscene and then just when you have no health potions left you get a giant boss who does maximum damage to you no matter what. and trust me i tried this even when i had lots of health thingees with me...but it is a good game i suppose. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's why the trick is to not get hit... When you can successfully destroy a group of enemies while dodging their attacks, that's when you have started on the path of mastering the combat in the game. Remember, walls and enemy shoulders are your best friends, use them to leap around the area so you don't get hit.

Onderon/Dxun - Had more fun there then anywhere else.

If it was 100% certain that KOTOR 3 would be the same quality level as KOTOR 2, then no. & You don't know that... Stop being such an idiot fanboy, and realize that there *are* problems with this game, regardless of the fact that you claim to have never experienced a single one. You try to portray yourself as some KOTOR 2 "God", and that the way you play, and your unmatched attention to detail allows you some forsight into the code of the game across the world to tell everyone that has problems that they "aren't paying attention". Get over yourself, you aren't that important.

I would think so... Publishers do the advertising as far as I can tell.

I disagree with your scoring system. Didn't read all of the review, because honestly, it was hard to read. Some sentences were very confusing, and I hate reading stuff over and over just to make sense of it. On a side note, the Ninja Gaiden review is funny as hell...
-
Ninja Gaiden is a unique game... If you love fast paced, high adrenaline action games, that don't make it the least bit easy for you, then Ninja Gaiden is the right game for you. If, on the other hand, you don't like to be stressed out over getting owned during combat, then stay away from Ninja Gaiden. If you get it, and ever need any help, just PM me. I love the game and everything about it, so I'm sure I could provide a few tips for you if you need them.

Dooku, Sidious and Yoda were all of the counsular type. It would only make sense they would use a single blade, so their "force powers" could be focused on more. Maul would fall in the "maurader" wouldn't he? Double bladed. Anakin uses two blades at the end of ep 2, and also during his fight with Obi in ep 3. But you can see the limits of a single blade when Anakin fights Dooku... Here you have a padawan, going against a sith lord former jedi master, and he puts up a good fight when he duel wields, actually putting Dooku on the defensive for a moment. Maul was able to fight a jedi master and a padawan with his double blade, killed the master once he got to solo combat, and then go punked when his saber got busted. I agree with the rest of your post though. Singles never seem limited when going against another single, but during the movies, when a double/duel wielder has been thrown into the mix, the balance seems to quickly shift to their favor. Much like the KOTOR games, I guess...
