There is a lvl cap of 50. Enemy hit points and damage increase with your levels, so being lvl 50 is no different (combat wise) than being lvl 25. It still takes the same number of attacks to kill an enemy by the end of the game (1-2 for normal, more for bosses). Cheat is such a harsh word, since being lvl 50 gives you no significant advantage over the enemy that you wouldn't have already had at lvl 25. The developers obviously thought of it, since enemies scale to your level. Random generator for both shops and game world = a FUBAR job. In one of my games, I never found any dark jedi robes other than padawan and the master robes at the end that aren't random. But I don't tell people they need to recheck their characters for finding/buying the robes that I wanted to have for my character.

Jedi masters Visas A huts treasure room A guy in the enclave ruins A guy from the mandalorian wars Czerka Corp Now, I've never gone to Dxun/Onderon before getting my saber, nor have I visited Korriban before hand either, but out of those possible choices that I can remember getting a saber piece from, non of them seem to be random people that shouldn't have had one in the first place. The only one you could possibly make a solid arguement against is the guy on Nar Shadaa that's from the wars. But again, he served in the war, possibly close to a jedi or two, perhaps he saw one get killed, or salvaged a broken part from a corpse...

Malaks Armor where is it? (HELP)

The guide would be horribly wrong. -
I still wonder what Sion would have been like if I hadn't force crushed him to death without ever breaking a sweat...

Malaks Armor where is it? (HELP)
Epiphany replied to Odabhsoj's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Pretty much everything is random, except for two robes (master and sith master), a few weapons you pick up on Peragus, and then a few "special weapons" you get from killing various unique characters. Malak in the cave is just a virtual representation, that's why the bodies instantly fade away, and carry no equipment, interesting idea though, I guess. -
Perhaps my skills at lvl 50 weren't high enough to see all the "super powerful uber" upgrades the game offers, but I found and bought everything I could have made.

***SPOILER ALERT*** Wound in the what?
Epiphany replied to SaraBellum's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I thought the quests were more unique in this game, they just didn't present anything interesting. Many of them feel very incomplete as well. Oddly enough, I never was. I thought since Obsidian had such wonderful work while BIS, that they couldn't possibly FUBAR this game. But low and behold, they did. Pick a few and focus on them, you can't get everyone to fess up without knowing exactly how to use them and for how long. Yep. Well, your beef was with the council teaching you stuff and then stripping you of it. When your darkside, they don't teach you anything, you take it from them. It ends up working out a lot better than you described. The story is still a mess, and the last 1/4 of the game is still rushed, but it seems to fit a little better. Hopefully not. -
I need to be in a clan, my e-feelings are hurt by being left out. I wonder if all the people that hate me will band together and pigeon hole me into some catagory as well.

***SPOILER ALERT*** Wound in the what?
Epiphany replied to SaraBellum's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Welcome to RPG's... It's called a rush job. Probably so then. If you run through the stream of dialog trees over and over and over and over, sooner or later you'll have the skills required or the influence needed to get them to tell you stuff. It's called marketing. They plastered Nihilus and Atris everywhere. Nihilus ended up have no impact at all, and Atris felt incomplete, but decent enough for the standards set by this game. Dunno, never play lightside, but the darkside way works better than you described. -
No, I'm simply giving you the gratification of being right on your whole 'unable to read properly" claim. I thought I would give you a retarded response to make you feel better. See what I mean? For the second time, you've claimed I was retarded, so my choice to give you the self satisfaction of being right about it was a good one. If you'd like, I can post in more gibberish, if ever you feel your self-esteem running low. BTW: That's not a very good diagram... Maybe it's too complex for my retarded brain? You're slowly beginning to understand. Master speed doesn't give the defensive bonus, as well as the other defensive bonus force power (from what I've read, never used that one). I think there is another one, but I'm not 100% positive. The mauarader/weapon master don't give proper damage reductions.

Ladies and gentlemen, and children of all ages! Step right up to see... the exaggerator.

Ahh, much easier to read again. I r 2 stoopid 2 reed engrish. Me sawry 4 making u haf 2 reed mi stuf. /sarcasm Yeah, I mean, when I make my daily visits to jupiter, I love the connection between the deadly crushing gravitational pull of that giant gas ball, to the subtle pull experienced in Mercenaries. I'm just waiting for my next jump to cause me to become one with the ground due to the insane force in which the gravity is slamming me back to earth. I much prefer the floating/flying style present here on earth, as shown in GTA, where your cars go airborn at even moderate speeds. /end sarcasm Check out the force powers. A few of them don't work correctly. There, you've found more bugs now.

KOTOR II: I am Changed for the Experience (no spo

Aww damnit. I do some work and I missed fun time... ****! -
It's moot. You'll find or buy everything you can make. You may have something 30 minutes before you find it, but once you start playing, you'll notice the combat is insanely easy, and all these cool upgrades are just for kicks, and serve no true purpose to help you complete the game.

Same here. Big screen, 5.1 surround, couch >>>>>> computer desk/chair, monitor and PC speakers (regardless if they're 5.1 or higher).
-
Ahh, much easier to read again. /sarcasm Yeah, I mean, when I drive around town, doing my daily car jumps off roof tops, I love how gravity doesn't pull me quickly back down to earth. When experiencing this in GTA, it feels just like it does when I do it in real life. FLOATING AND FLYING IS FUN! /end sarcasm

KOTOR II: I am Changed for the Experience (no spo

From your post, I'm going to draw the assumption you have not played very many games. Flawless pacing, most complete character developement, best XBOX game of all time, and possibly the best game of all time?? Spiritual experience? WTF O_o -
Ahhh, much easier to read now... /sarcasm Yeah, the whole gravity pushing you down is so silly. /end sarcasm (w00t)
-
To go "wtf, I just wasted 40 hours of my life for THIS???" at the end.

It's very open, and you can take any vehicle you come across. Be it a jeep, a tank, a helicopter, or any other transport you see. Their comment is dead on.

hmmm So you roleplay your character per his "leadership", but you don't roleplay them per the force powers of light/dark? Interesting... -
Malaks Armor where is it? (HELP)
Epiphany replied to Odabhsoj's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Random item generator makes it impossible to tell someone how to get it. It could be in the first chest you open or the last, or perhaps in a chest on your 100th play through. -
And give them my money twice, for a broken game? Are you crazy?

Malak's Lightsaber & Armor
Epiphany replied to KotOR_rules2004's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Just curious how you know this? I mean this only as a question, since I haven't fought Visas after getting my first saber. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you have a saber before fighting Visas, you get the red saber she was using in your inventory, even though she still says you "broke it". Her name isn't on it, but it's a red saber.
