PETITION: PLEASE CHANGE THE INFINITE AMMO DESIGN
is understandable and infinite ammo can be explained with prototype energy weapon technology (infinite energy) or nano-tech (creates its own ammo) anyways

"...are more or less pretty useless since their abilities are already available to some core classes. The arcane trickster's special abilities could become selectable feats for rogues..." it is magic what the trickster does, that a simple rogue can't do, those skills thus can't be done by them, i can't imagine that anybody who isn't a spellcaster os psion could open locks or steal from meters away the victim

We can hope she turns 18 in course of the game can we? Well the legal age in Australia is 16... Same here in Finland, but I have to play game for americana moralists well, the legal age for 'that' is 14 in Hungary, if the girl is wanting it herself, then no jail for the guy (however, if the girl claims she was tricked or something later, the guy will be in trouble)

Oblivion
Indeed. Even then it is quite average How depressing funnily i didn't fight cliff hangers that lot in Morrowind, don't know why they were a problem for others

Mysteries of Westgate
just think about it: the game itself is already finished since 2007 winter, but not yet out because they wait for the 'security sumtin' to be finished aswell EDIT: i know it wont be Starforce, but i fear similar 'effects'

Mysteries of Westgate
http://www.ataricommunity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=637984 Well, not sure if this is new for you, but for me it is It seems like MoW is already ready for a long time, but not released because it will include a new security system ...i hope to hear from devs that the 'security' won't be like that of Starforce...

Prestige classes indeed do not need to be less effective than base classes, but rather should overall be equally effective as base classes, but in a different way (e.g. through specialization, or through combination of features of other classes, or...). At the moment (in unmodified 3.5E), that is not the case as many prestige classes are clearly superior to the base classes, which makes further advancement in the relevant base classes pointless after the criteria of the prestige class are met. okay...as example: please tell me why a prestige class called 'Archmage' should not be superior to the 'Wizard' ? EDIT: the whole idea behind prestige classes is that you advance into something new, you are still what you archieved in your base class(es), but advancing further makes you only stronger than some base class anyway Why would a simple soldier wish to become a commando if being soldier would be the same effective as being trained as a commando? It would make no sense- Oblivion
hmm, xard i want to notify you that you exceeded the size of the allowed signature, about a year ago i had to cut down/change mine because of that aswell, i asume you will be addressed becoz of this by a mod soon, so just 'Preemptive edit' it- Pathfinder RPG
prestige classes are a new level of understanding in a profession usually, i don't think they need to be less effective than base classes, the difference between base classes and prestige classes are like between a taxi driver and a Forma 1 driver, and that is good so- New Fallout 3 screens
You're overthinking it. Putting weapons into holsters has been done for some time. I've got a PSOne games where characters can sheathe swords. I can't fathom why you'd want or need to get physics involved. There's no need for the holster to actually "hold" the weapon. In fact, there's no need for the holster to even be a seperate object from the weapon when the weapon is holstered. It just needs to look like a weapon in a holster. Which should be more of a modelling task than physics. The complication I see is, how do you actually sling a shotgun over your back? Do we actually have straps in existence that pin firearms to people's backs allowing free use of their hands with another firearm? i agree, to have the holster seperately is not needed, the animation to put away/take out the weapon is important- 4E already released!
I was trying to get at the fact that the average CoC party consists of something like a baker, university professor, prostitute, and 40 year-old private eye with a bastball bat and a .38 revolver between all of them. DG parties tend to be a lot better prepared, organized, and equipped. They also tend to fight a lot of human opponents, like members of The Fate/Maj-12/Karotechia, etc. you people talk so much about coc and such, that i became interested in it, however i already have 4 campaigns going on and cant GM it, and I dont think the others want a game with higher fatality rates than vampire anyway - Pathfinder RPG
