hi, i think about upgrading my PC, the goal is to be able to play games like two worlds, fallout 3, aliens, Mass effect (will buy it later, but have to prepare for it already), and other 'hi-tech' games, plus run on it some of the best graphic programs a pal of mine works in such a job, and offered some PC parts he could get for about 80.000 Ft (/275= 291 Euro) motherboard: Asrock 4 coredual-vsta memory: Kingmax 2GB CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 VGA card: Asus Extreme EN8800GS I don't have a clue on if it is worth the cash or not, I still have to find how much theese things on the average cost in Hungary more than in other nations. I ask the community what they think about these items, their cost, their 'power', and if I should agee to the deal in their opinion or not, thanks.

my first strategy game was C&C, the original first one I do not like RTS-s much, but C&C remained my favorite (the original one), Red Alert wasn't bad neither, till RA2 came out and broke up with the tiberian timeline

arcana unearthed i think normally, one should take trickster classes to have in one go spellcasting with magic type thieving skills and some rogue abilities, but i agree that it would be only worth if the trickster would get on every level spellcasting levels (forgot if it is the case or not), and as far i know higher levels mean you can use the special abilities more than once

i use an old laptop as long the other one is in service, even if i would dl gimp the comp. would die if i start it up

Sorry, I tried to be as brief as possible but at the expense of the coherence of my thought... What I tried to say, in the case of the Arcane Trickster, is that I would rather be able to pick any of his 2 main abilities (impromptu sneak attack and ranged legerdemain) as selectable feats for arcane spellcasters or as rogue special abilities. The arcane trickster prestige class is nothing really exceptional: it has sneak attack just like any rogue and has bonus spells just like any spellcasting class. What makes that PrC special are the 2 aforementioned abilities. Sure, to balance things, the prerequisites to these feats should at least require the character to be able to cast spells and have some thieving skills. No matter what, I will never like the concept of prestige classes. There is absolutely no way for the player to get the arcane trickster's special abilities without disrupting the natural progression of his/her character as a rogue or as a wizard/sorcerer/bard. Why would I want to progress as an arcane trickster beyond lv 3 of that Prc if I am only interested in getting a "sample" of his unique abilities? I don't want to force my players into sacrificing so many feats and skill points just to get these 2 abilities. there is a book called arcanra or arcane sumtin that talks about gestalts, we have 1-2 campaigns going on with that concept and it is entertaining i think you search for something like that

I'd just like to know what the actual focus of the game is in terms of tone. Light/mindless/humorous or mature/realistic/dark? I'd imagine this would be set in stone already, and it seems to me it's the type of thing you'd want to get out to the gamers in order to catch the attention of the customer base Obsidian is aiming for. Since they mentioned the story being in vein of Syriana, would i vouch for "realistic/dark". At first I did too, but then they mentioned Kill Bill and gun toting teenagers with pink hair, and suddenly I don't know what to think. maybe Trigun
