  1. Yes, half-assed comes to mind. But it *is* just an expansion after all... You can't target an improved invisible creature, so you can't remove their immunity, I believe that's the problem? True Sight? Anyway, ToB was originally meant to be BG3, but they seem to have just gave up and did a half-assed Xpack instead. That's why I installed Ascension - hoping it'd add a bit of life. But as it stands I'm struggling to find purpose to continue BG2 normal - it's all just too easy... but more than that, it really is boring. Maybe I've just played chapter 2 way too much. Yea, I'll go to spellhold and sort things out. Wild Mage Wiiiiiillllld.... Mage See how easy a time of it you have when, right in the midst of a battle, your Mage casts fireball x2 on your party. Tale, you take your 'job' as Max a bit too seriously!
  2. ah, so "action-rpg"-s are for you cartoons, because the action part I guess cyberpunk and shadowrun then aswell
  3. ...maybe i could accept 'overpowered' as an opinion, even if all the NPC-s and monsters will use the same system, thus a balance (like in every other RPG) would exist, but 'cartoony'? If you mean the illustrations it is your decision how to implement things into the campaign, and I can't find any 'cartoony' thing in the 4.0 otherwise. No rubber chicken summoning, no 'anvil on the head' spell, and no 'banana skin trap'. I am really intetrested in what 'cartoony' means for you.
  4. interesting, so, in the MEPC forum, where this problem emerged, it is now not anymore allowed to discuss it or complain about it (not to mention petitions) your thoughts?
  5. If I can make a suggestion? Make it like the letters A and P are middle of epic fight of awesome propotions. The A letter would be dualwielding ninjas dualwielding katanas and the letter P would be dualwielding robots dualwielding rocket launchers. It would be Epic. /signed. Haha, indeed While you're at it you might as well sign this i signed it, 'half-way'
  6. You really are dense aren't you. Is situational awareness a requirement for moderation ? Huh? I'm sorry, I didn't catch that... EDIT: I don't want to see any form of persecution on these fora. It's against the rules, and it's beneath the calibre of people present. Let's focus on the debate, not the debaters. some other forums solved such problems with simply banning the topics 'religion', 'racism', and 'politics'
  7. i sign it, partially i still wish to have 1-2 weapons that are propably energy ones, have lower damage, but have infinite ammo
  8. i think the creators were too fast to decide to make this into 4.0, i think it is a good system, but it would be more fitting as a seperate one, not as a dnd decendant

  11. you know, investigation is also a class in its own, and why shouldn't they have levels anyway?
  12. good for you, me and others tend to not just reinstall the game now and then (again and again) but also format the drivers once per two months (atleast i do that), and there is always the possibility that the PC/hard-drive breaks... there goes all your 'reinstallation tickets' (or what the .... is it called) also this drm is atleast not starforce, even more people would freak out then
  13. the game 'darkstar1' between others also had 'buildin bugs' for the crackers, but in less than 2 months they released a version that solved it. There is no way a developer can defeat the torrenters and such, only way would be to solve this: inbuilt chips into the PC when i hunted for torrent sites i realized how nonsense my job is, that is one of the causes why i left it. It was like trying to drink the ocean, or trying to reach the moon, with juming. i hope bioware releases an un-drm version later, atleast till then, i myself spared the cash for the pc upgrade would be nice doh to know if any graphs will be or not modified for ME2, so i could buy the things for the pc accoringly...
  14. Josh! quick! Take notes for future HK-47 comments! and Tale: "You crack me up little buddy!"
  15. not to mention all the lost buyers
  16. Hum.... The question is, should I buy a copy and not install it so I can use the pirated copy legally. I'll probably wait and see if BioWare releases a DRM-light version, although that will mean no Mass Effect until then. well, you can register a bought game, and use a ...'bugger free' version of the game, that way you should be able to use it just like the other game (if it is not changing the checksum ofc) There's an heterosexual version of Mass Effect? now either i lost you, or you lost me
  17. ... ... ...now i am shocked...

  19. I guess then it is better to wait for 5.0 to buy
  20. and while the developers stated it will be left open for complains, it was still locked...their fault now that the topic of every other thread is derailed into a discussion about this
  21. i don't agree with this, i liked Morrovind quite much, but hated Oblivion a lot myself
  22. they will, just like ME was
  23. As it stands it's nearly a megabyte in size. If you put the entire sequence in, most people would change pages before the image finished loading. I wouldn't ah, btw, Pop, I didn't know you are from cuba ooh...they edited it? i thought my own comment was much less polite than yours...hmm, maybe they edited mine too? dunno
  24. can't explain it better myself, well done sir! hmm... wanted to quote something enlightening, but then i realized something weird... a whole, more than 2 years old thread was edited to look like it was just recently closed, who was the wisemod? jeez...
  25. okay, i had a hard time to find it, but i did. here is my comment on the MessEffect situation i gave: http://masseffect.bioware.com/forums/viewt...p;sp=45#5774461
