  1. If I remember corretly it is on Mannan when facing the Dark Jedi Master. Not 100% though. Yeah it was quite funny when I first heard that line :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, it was on manaan. Hilarious remark by HK-47 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The best best part was that it was in response to that infamous line "Lord Malak was most displeased you had escaped Taris alive, he has promised a great reward to whoever destroys you."
  2. Are we still doing this? KotOR: Romancing the Sith KotOR II : Krayt Dragon Pearl of the Nile
  3. But there is Luba Licious : The October issue of Playboy Magazine will feature a handful of 'mature' images of famous female game characters... ^_^
  4. What other Obsidian games have you played then? Tell me, I'd love to know. ^_^ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Obsidian=Black Isle Studios reincarnated. BIS games included Planescape Torment, the Fallout series, the Icewind Dale series, etc. All in all, some of what are said to be the greatest RPG games of all time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Indeed. I am the proud owner of all those games with the exception of the IWD "dugeon crawlers" . Just wanted to point out that it's not actually BIS 'cause some of them did go to Troika as well.
  5. What other Obsidian games have you played then? Tell me, I'd love to know. ^_^
  6. All he wanted was a box of chocolates.
  7. *shrugs* As good as you'd expect from a "PC-Lite". <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i was talking to feargus.and that was last night. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> (aww man, I can't believe I'm actually laughing at this  ) OK, I gotta say, jaguars4ever, you are one vicious dude  . That was probably one of the most insidiously subtle, offhand remark I've seen yet. Not only did you seemingly simultaneously insult Microsoft and Xbox users in general, you seem to have caused one of the 'Xboxers' to stumble into your snare - whether you set it intentionally or not. That's pretty evil humour, but I have to admit, I got a laugh out of it (with the deepest of apologies to sstep and despite not wanting to get dragged into such a sordid affair). No doubt, several other primarily PC users (who viewed this exchange in the same light I'm seeing it in anyways) got their giggles in as well. Personally, I'm rather neutral on the console thing. I remember wayyy back when I had a coleco vision set, and desperately wanted a bonafide computer (an apple IIc or something or other I believe) so I could play all those awesome games my friends kept showing me. Flash forward decades later, and I look back at all these consoles (PS2, XBox, NCube to name a few) and I gotta say, "Man, I can't believe I used to play games on those things!" (of course present generation consoles were a lot better than yester year's - or decade's - variants, but present generation computers are far better as well) Consoles are fine, but I tend to see them as second hand and second place to a computer (but that's just my opinion ). In anycase, I firmly believe the graphics of KotOR2 will be fine for both Xbox and PC versions. Well, fine enough for both parties to be happy. [i'm probably gonna be censured or something  - if not out right roasted to a crispy char ] <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Bienvenu. ^_^
  8. #inlcude<iostream.h> #include<string.h> int main() { string name = "Revan"; cout<<"Please enter the CORRECT name, meatbag"<<endl; cin>>name; while( name != "Revan" || name == "Revon") { cout<<"Are you deaf, flipperhead?"<<endl; cin>>name; } if( name == "Revan") cout<<"Congratulations meatbag. You can now spell Revan"; cout<<endl; return 0; }
  9. no way man. That Jedi is wearing Jordy's visor from Star Trek! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Even the mighty Visor of La Forge won't save the Jedi from Ninja's AND the Princess of Persia!
  10. Does anyone know what other titles besides UT2k4 & Far Cry that support 64-bit at the moment?
  11. *shrugs* As good as you'd expect from a "PC-Lite". <_< <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i was talking to feargus.and that was last night. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
  12. Good point. Besides role-playing elements, there's also style factor. How much cooler would it look having your single saber raised in your main hand, while your free off-hand is "force-crusing" someone in a fist? B) That's much better than having your double saber 'droop' in your main hand, or having another saber in the "force-crush" hand.
  13. The good thing is, that unlike KotOR 1, your party selection is going to be different. B)
  14. Preach it to 'em brotha! B) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> *Salute* Ah, yes. Long Live us Puritans!
  15. It's always better to welcome someone new to the boards rather than have someone new to the boards who's worn out their welcome. *cough* PalpaTANG *cough* :D Anyway, not only the act of getting rid of Jolee, Juhani, Mission, Zalbaar & Carth was horrible, the manner in which it was conducted was even worse. All in all, it leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Full credit to Bioware though. ^_^ Hopefully the devs will deliver on their promise of a more captivating Dark Side role playing experience. I might even start off as an LS Jedi who gradually 'falls' to the Dark Side should the lure be seductive enough. B)
  16. I know we'll all have to play both LS & DS to 'truly' play the game, but your very first playthough usually is the one that stays with you the most. Chris Avellone did say, "It`s a dark game. Bad things happen to good people, but most of the time, bad people get exactly what they deserve - that is, if you can figure out who the bad guys are. Maybe it`s you." So which path do you initially intend to take?
  17. Well his original picture looked like this (minus the hair of course):
  18. *shrugs* As good as you'd expect from a "PC-Lite". <_<
  19. A PC demo for Christmas would be an awesome idea.
  20. Interesting 'Mandalorian-esque' visor...maybe he's Mandalore himself.
  21. That's what they said about David Beckham...
