  1. LOL, seriously though the Sith probably are nicer to their moms than the Jedi. A Sith may desire the power to protect those that they love ( i.e. their mommy's ), whilst a Jedi would detach themselves and not know how to love ( hence no mother's day card ).
  2. You are only coming here to get us more worked up. If you are annoyed by it, go to another thread! You are just trying to start a flame war. Any mod with a decent feeling should ban you. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well said.
  3. Eu-ro-pe-an you say? Which planet was that on again? :D
  4. And here I thought that Sith were nicer to their mother's than the Jedi.
  5. It's called "making a mistake." And dagnabit Darth Sirius, LA should be paying me! Obviously they need a little PR help right now. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We don't pay money for their "mistakes".
  6. For a business to sit on a finished product for two months, especially past the busiest sales month of the year, would be insane just to coddle some gamers who are afraid of spoilers or sulking over broken promises. Releasing it in December means it's a new game that will be at the top of lists. Releasing it in February means that by next Christmas it's old news. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> :D Are LA paying you? j/k <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

  8. Second-rate in the sense that us PC gamers are receiving a spoiled and hence not a truly "new" product. In a cRPG of this nature, plot twits and other story related mechanisms are quintessentially integral. If these qualities become invalidated then it pretty much is second-rate for us PC gamers. Sad but true. <_<
  9. Some of you who say that the delay is onlly 2 months need to also consider the lack of good cRPG's at the moment. If there were alternative cRPG's of comparable projected quality that would cushion the blow somewhat (even though I do not forgive LA's lying and breaking their word). But as there aren't any/many the delay ends up feeling 4 or 5 times as long.
  10. Would I like them to fulfill their initial promise? Naturally. EDIT: Take it easy of the locking Ms. Teksuni.
  11. Wouldn't Hades err...method accomplish that "market reminder" somwhat more vehemently?
  12. Maybe you are a little too young to figure this out yet, but there is no such thing as Santa Claus. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hades, I don't believe any sentient being would be stupid enough to say and mean that directly. He must have made an attempt to be sarcastic, albeit a pathetic one: Or at least I hope...
  13. Ah yes, the ol' "alterernative method of product acquiration" routine never fails! Not to mention the use of emulators... *whistles, and walks off*
  14. Did you mean 'Oblivion' or 'Obsidian'? :
  15. Such pride, such arrogance! Heh, well then let me rephrase: Get a grip, teenager! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wrong again, my friend. I see that your're method of ascertaining people's age is woefully pitiful. :D
  16. So being mature, patient, and rational = selfish? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Codoning actions which are deliberately misleading and outrightly deceptive; thus benefitting only a small minority of the "privileged" fanbase, sounds pretty damn selfish to me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wasn't condoning anyone's actions. This isn't an "us vs. them" scenario like you want to believe. Oh no! PC gamers have to wait another 2 whole months for a game! THE SKY IS FALLING! Get a grip, kid. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> By definition, I don't believe that you're eligible to call me kid.
  17. Sound business? Yes. Quintessentially circumventing the PC fans? Most definately! All that BS about a "simultaneous release date" and "use of the Orthodox Christian calendar" was a complete farce! The lied to us. Pure and simple.
  18. Solidarity is lacking on your part, my friend.
  19. Then why don't they hold back both versions to release at the same time? NO, they want to cash in on the hefty Christmas market so that LA's and MS's profits stack nicely, while the PC gamers suffer. And yet they expect us to pay the odd 50 bucks (or quid if the case applies) for a second rate service (as it is 2 months late), which even lacks the prospect fo exclusive bonus material. That, my friend, is so not cool.

  21. Microsoft have clearly employed unprincipled "means of persuasion" in order to "protect their vested interests" LA have plain and simply "lied through their teeth" and betrayed their faithful and loyal PC fanbase. Who do you guys & gals think is more responsible? EDIT: (Hopefully my exuberant use of double quatations adds some degree of "political correctness " so that this thread doesn't also get added to the recent hit-list of those obsidian-lucasarts-microsoft spooks  )
  22. Here's some more ^_^ : "Let's get on with the mission, Mission." "Kill them! Kill them all!" "Tell him anyway, I want to see what happens." "It's not like me to crush insects like you, but I'm bored, so..." "Let's skip the talk and get to the part where I kill you!" "I found Malak's diary" "What's with the freaky eyes, old man?"
