Those of you who want KOTOR2 to have mp, why don't you go buy Jedi Academy??? KOTOR 3 or 4 may be a massive multiplayer online RPG similar to some of the new FF games but..as far as a multiplayer fighting game, don't hold your breath. NO MULTIPLAYER!!!!!

God, this isn't going to be a trilogy, isn't it ?!? He is ever watching...hand on the Trilogy button...trust me I know... Just three games? lol George Lucas is going to produce KOTOR games until he bleeds the series dry. It'll be like the new Jedi Knight series.

Game after this one? KOTOR 3?

I want to see some concept art.

I agree, the ending with KOTOR1 told you nothing about the characters really. The light side ending was lame. You get a metal, and you're told "you saved the republic". Then the dark side ending was a little bit better since you knew Revan took over the galaxy. KOTOR had a good story line then it just copied the ending of like every other Star Wars movie ever with the ending.

So you can be killed easier? Or so you have to go and equip your weapon everytime you want to battle. -

4 QUESTIONS TO HELP IMPROVE THE BEST GAME EVER!
Quiquag replied to Jenai Starr's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
We do nit pick about the game, but our ideas for the most part aren't stupid. This thread wouldn't have been attacked as much if ...... I wrote a crap load of reasons why this thread sucked. 1. The entire post was in caps....and it was a very very long post. 2. It was a strain on the eyes to read for the above reason. 3. The entire thing was like one giant thought/ sentence/ paragraph 4. He repeated himself in about three different ways. 5. His ideas were unrealistic 6. Later on in the thread he refered to us as rude "Earth humans" 7. His ideas were stupid 8. His ideas would waste a lot of buttons on the control pad 9. He actually used the phrase "May the force be with you" and he was serious 10. His post showed evidence that he spent way too much time thinking about his stupid idea. He had a lot of time to think about how stupid it was, however he decided to post it anyway. -
Ok I voted....now everyone else vote in my ultimate way off topic poll....Vote now!

I know this is off topic but why haven't they made a LOTRs RPG??? It only makes sense...Why are there like 4 stupid hack and slash LOTRs and no RPG? It just doesn't make sense to me.

Where are the fan artists that made cool KOTOR fan art wallpaper. My desktop is looking pretty boring...come on people...draw us something nice.

Relax people we still have another 9 months or MORE until the game is released. I noticed that about every 4 or 5 days obsidian posts something new....an interview or an article. Think about it this way, the less time they spend making trailers and screen shots the more time they can use to work on the game. People started doing this in the first KOTOR forum about material and release dates. Near the end there were a half a dozen threads like "When is it coming out!?" or "I want it now!!" or "How soon....I can't wait" . Im sure by the end of this week we'll get something new.

My point is most if not 95% of enemies did not respawn. If not for the 5% of respawn enemies tatooine and dantooine would be running simulations.
-
The enemies in KOTOR weren't respaenable.....unless you count the occasional kath hound on Dantoonie....those are the only ones that respawned really.

What are your favorite improvements for KOTOR II?
Quiquag replied to Darion 's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It seems to me that Taris was hugh, and all the other planets were dwarfed. It seems like all the other planets were half the size. Also the robes in the first game appeared to be more like tight fitting bath robes or komonos at best. Im glad these things have been changed in KOTOR2. -

Suggestion on improving Kotor2 from Kotor1
Quiquag replied to Asianpride9's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Please please please let players go back and see what they have done after the game is over. The game had a since of freedom up to a point. When you are captured you lost the sense of freedom in the game since you have to go to the fifth star map, and the sense of freedom goes way down from there. After you travel to the "unknown planet" the entire game is on tracks and the player has no control over what happens. -
If Obsidian used a new graphics engine you wouldn't see the game until 2007. By this time the new Xbox 2 would be out and KOTOR 2 wouldn't sell as well. Maybe if there is a KOTOR 3 it will have a new graphics engine, and perhaps can be a launch title for Xbox2.

That's what bugs me about Malak, and the 'cutscenes' in Kotor. They take control away from the player. It was even worse here. Every time he retreats to replenish his energy what's to stop you from attacking him? Battles don't end just because one guy has been weakened. The entire fight with Malak is like a scripted cutscene. You have no control even when you're winning. I hope there's no repeat of that in Kotor2. Yeah the entire fight was scripted it seemed. The only way I could ever beat him was quickly run around and destroy all the jedi/machines that revived Malak. I hated the way that Bastilla, and Malak just revived their energy. Also did it annoy anyone else that the "Dark Lord of the Sith" was so afraid of your character? Every chance he got, Malak would either run away, try to get someone else to fight you, or set some kind of trap for you that involved him running away and you fighting a bunch of robots. I hope the Sith Lords in KOTOR2 have more of a spine.

Bush isn't the brightest crayon in the box.

Actually as far as character creation, I would like to see better portraits. I noticed in the first game none of the portraits had the typical jedi hair (long hair, like Qui-Gon, or the younger Obi-Wan.). Also aside from the one portrait with the scar none of them had anything really that set them apart from the others. As far as the female portraits go most of them were ugly as hell. Most of them looked like either shaved apes or lesbians. <_<

Are you serious?! Do you know how hard it was to kill Malak at level 20? If you make the level cap at 8 or 10 the game will just become frustrating. <_< Um... It wasn't all that hard at all. It's not that it was hard, but it was obvious his character was beyond level 20....also he was able to restore all of his energy. Malak was cheesey, thats why he was so hard to fight.
