I heard there isn't a level 20 cap in this game, but is there any cap? Also...on the left of the screen here in the forum...what does it mean when it says "level 1" or "level 2"? I started at level 0 and made my way to level 1 for some reason....how do you increase your level?

Its not too late to make suggestions. Infact I remember a few months before the first game came out a bunch of us convinced the devs that we should be able to ignite our lightsabers at will. That wasnt an origional feature of the game. We told them it would create a since of freedom in the game if we could ignite our sabers at will.

That is true its too early to tell. I do hope some Sith join your party this time though. Canderous and HK47 just werent evil enough... <_<

I thought she was wearing a brown robe? (Runs off to check) Look at page 78 and 79 of EGM those are black robes...and she looks pale and wrinkled in both pics

Kreia is an old Jedi like Joelee, perhaps put in the game to take the place of Joelee...however from the gameplay footage and still frames in EGM she looks like a Sith. Im not just saying that because shes wearing a black robe with a hood in all the pictures, I say this because she looks pale, old, and Palpatine like. She looks like your PC from KOTOR if you went to the dark side. Did anyone else notice this about Kreia?

I think the devs put atton rand in the game to take the place of carth. The devs probably thought some people might miss carth and tried to replace him. By the way....who did enjoy carth in the first game?

Both sides are fun, but in different ways. The best thing to do is play the game through once being light and then again being dark. If you don't play both games your missing out on gameplay, different endings, and the feeling of being a jedi or a sith.

The footage thus far from E3 and gamespot isnt ground breaking. The only new things you can see in these videos are a few new robes, a couple new fight animations....and some new locals that look a lot like the shadow lands. Im optimistic though that obsidian or lucas arts will launch an offical game trailer in the new month or so since the basic build of the game is complete. From the footage Ive seen so far it looks as though the game is well underway.

The worst mini game in my opinion was the turret gun. I don't know if anyone noticed but the Ebon Hawk was never in danger during those missions...you couldnt lose. I remember one time I was traveling between worlds...got up went to the bathroom...took a shower...and came back like 15 minutes later to find my I was under attack for like 15 minutes...So while getting dressed I blindly tapped A a few times and blew up all the Sith attack ships. The Pazak wasnt really annoying...except it served no real purpose. Sure you won credits...but...what can you really buy with credits...I don't know about anyone else but the only real items I tried to get in the game were new light saber crystals...which you couldnt really buy in the shops. I didn't really buy anything from the shops because I already had like a billion other items I didn't really know what to do with. I remember one time I looked at my inventory to find I had like 17 blasters, 20 some land mines...and a million other pieces of crap that I would never use. Once I got a lightsaber and put a Jedi robe on...I really didnt equip much else...except new crystals...and maybe gautlets.

You find out that youre really a Gungan from the future and Jar Jar Binks is your father sent from the future to stop you from making a horrible line of prequels to a series of classic movies.

9 months? lol I wish...they say Feb 2005...but anyone who has ever waited for a game knows that release dates are pushed back. Im pretty sure the game will be pushed back once...twice or even three times before a solid release date is announced. For the first KOTOR the origional release was pushed forward by a YEAR. The game was set to release on May 2002...then it was pushed back until september 2002...then...feb 2003...then may 2003...then june 2003...then finally a solid release date was announced as July 23 2003. So...don't put a lot of stock into the Feb 2005 date...it really means nothing. A more accurate date would be ...November 2005, maybe Feb 2006.

The dark side is more powerful then the light side. Also....everyone must admit it just looks a lot cooler to wear all black...walk around choking people with the force... and fry people with force lightening. :ph34r:

The June edition of EGM has a nice article about Sith Lords (about 4 pages) You don't learn anything really new... but you do get a cool poster of the main Sith in the game. There a few shots of the older Jedi NPC in your party...she has on a really cool looking Sith robe. Theres another NPC in the screen shots with Sith armor on...Im thinking its a mission where you go undercover perhaps...So anyway if you haven't picked up the issue of EGM yet and you're interested in Sith Lords (obviously since youre reading this) pick up a copy. B)

Being on the dark side is much more hilarious then being on the light side. I love some of the dialog options you can pick on the dark side...especially on Manan. "What were you doing in the Sith base? (PC) "I was killing Sith, see? simple" or on Dantooine(sp) when you kill the family lol.

I liked the news robes too. I liked the one the woman was wearing next to the ship near the end of the movie....she looks very sith like...are sith going to join your party if you decide to go dark in the game? It would be interesting if of the 10 characters your allowed to have in your party were picked from a larger amount of characters....meaning your allowed to pick who you want in your party...so you arent stuck with a bunch of people you cant use or dont like. I remember in the first game the only characters I ever used after a certain point was Bastilla, Juhani, or Joe-Lee...all the other characters were almost useless. It would be nice in this game if all the characters were useful.

Im sorry....I might seem crazy again but what language? I don't recall any except for the use of the word "damn" like 4 or 5 times in the entire game....Correct me if Im wrong anyone but don't they say worse words on basic television now...and cable? Does your child live in a cave where he or she hears no language? Does your child go to school? If so Im pretty sure they hear worse then the "horrible language" of a star wars video game. As for "gore"...I don't recall any blood in the first game...infact you can't even dismember people with your lightsaber....Perhaps obsidian can design a game for you with no fight sequences. All the wookies, and Jedi, and Sith can run around in a field with flowers and love eachother.

I want the long flowing robes from the movies too...similar to the star forge robes or Revan robes....but maybe with more variety. Also it would be a really cool option to be able to hood or unhood your character with the touch of a button. :ph34r:

The offical Sith lords site will probably take a while to be launched. If I remember correctly the first KOTOR offical site was launched about 4 or 5 months before the game came out...it might be a while yet for the Sith lords site to be launched....maybe by the end of summer?

Personally I can't really choose which side I like more...I mean it's fun being a Sith and killing characters, but it's also fun to be a Jedi. I always like to play the game through once as a Jedi, and the second time around as a Sith, and enjoy the differences in game play. :ph34r:
