KOTOR2 is finsihed. It may not be eprfect; but it is finished. Period. Deal with that hardcore simple fact, dudes.

My opinion as a long time DM si the dumbest AI henchmen is more intelligent than the most intelligent PC. Game over.

Actually, more seriosuly, I was gonna avoid KOTOR completely because of the SW theme; but all the good reviews when the x-box version came out as well as people who disliked NWN were actually very grudgingly gave priase to BIo for KOTOR. I found out, it was a good game. Not great. Just like the sequel. But, yeah, ultimately I enjoyed KOTOR1&2 in spite of the SW connection. I do like the SW movies; but I have never been gung ho about them.

"The tech is geared for shooters and not games of substance." It's an engine. It can be changed to fit whatever game thet creator wants it to.

"the henchmen of NWN felt very lifeless to me" The OC didn't haven't henchmen. It had hirelings. Actually, technically, it had expert hirelings. BG had henchmen. And, to me it doesn't matter how dumb or smart the AI is or how much control a PC has over the npcs; a party is any group of adventurers (group meaning 2+) travel. Of course, the ideal party imo is 3-6; not 1 or 2.

"BG = party based since you have exactly the same level of control over the party members as you have over the main PC. NWN does not = party based since you dont directly control the party members other than some very basic commands and the ability to tell the AI what way you want it to fight." You don't know what aprty based means then. A party, by defintion, is multiple adventurers traveling together. Even the OC has a party by defintion. Period. AI or player controlled is irrelevant to whether or not a game is party based.

And? It wouldn't be the firts on line game BIo had made. The BGs were on line games too.

I doubt BIO is using it to make a MMORPGH or a straight up FPS. The closest to a FPS BIO will make would be soemthing Vampire; but even that's in doubt..

Um.... PC + henchmen = Party based. Don't be confused. Remember, contary to popualr belief, the OC didn't have henchmen. It had expert hirelings. SOU, HOTU, BG, and PST had henchmen. That is all.

I am with Kum. There's a difference to me bewteen Freedom Fighters and Terrorists. There *are* Iraqis who are fighting the US because they believe it is the right thing to do. I disgaree with them; but I can understand why they would do so. Then there are those who target whoever to cause fear in iraq. Those are the terrorists there. the ones who target purposefully Iraqi civilains all the while stating they are figthing for Iraq. And, yes, I do beleive at times the US can be guilty of using terrorism to further its own ends. Most countries are. This is why terrorism is such a hard hting to define to a good degree. That's why I like K's chosen definition.
