No, Disciple is only available for female characters and Handmaiden is only available for male characters. He's not half as good as Handmaiden, as she has special unarmed feats and turns into a Jedi Guardian, whereas he turns into a Consular (with 10 wis and 12 cha, yeah, great). He does have a special "portable medlab" ability (just don't think too hard about where he stores it) which I never used, once, and you can "meditate" with him to instantly regain FP, which I used, once, and discovered that it was buggy because it doesn't make him regain FP.

As creepy as "I killed her because I loved her" can sound, it's nowhere near "I killed her, and I loved her, and wow, you remind me a lot of her, and oh now that I've talked to you about my creepy failed romance for ten minutes and you've done my quests I love you too." And your definition of romance puts you pretty close to most KOTOR2 NPCs. I actually found the romance discussion with HK sweeter than the replies of most of the other NPCs (yeah, Mira and Hanharr are mega-romantic, and Atton's just talking about himself). Anyway, I think Atton's pretty bad-boy with all the sarcasm and psychopathy. I guess I just don't get the Manderous attraction. He's super-old and he's not "bad," he's a jerk. Not as ugly as Atton's jacket, but it's just not aesthetically pleasing (yes, yes, I know, breasts, but still). -It's ridiculous that someone who'd constantly be facing laser fire, swords, grenades, and other dangers would wander around with only a scrap of cloth protecting three of the most vulnerable areas on the body (stomach, chest, throat). -It's also ridiculous that the scrap of cloth would provide +5 Defense and DR 5/physical.

I still had some issues with Barcelona, but it was an enjoyable area, yeah. I just don't understand how things went so horribly wrong (okay, I technically do, but wow).

I have thought it over, and concluded that Lionheart had a worse ending. AWFUL ending. Of course, Lionheart was a worse game pretty much all-around (but it had promise before it turned entirely into endless hack and slash! rargh!). Okay, of the good games I've completed, Monkey Island 2 had the worst ending.

Yeah, well, some of us like nice guys. Unfortunately, Disciple was rather dull and, like every single other party member save Mira, a liar. I was terribly amused by his courtly bow and... just... bored by most of the rest of his dialogue until near the end, when he was very sweet (delusional, but sweet). And if you have to mention Buffy, do also note Atton's *startling* resemblance to Xander in terms of behavior, dialogue, and the way he's treated by others. Sure, he had the equivalent of a couple years of Angel's dark past, but Disciple had Angel's personality (or lack thereof) and look how far that got him. And okay, also note that Mira is basically LS Faith. I couldn't place her attitude until I asked her how she felt about men, and then, holy crap, Faith!

Eh, I don't really see it happening. That's pretty huge, and I'm not sure that all the recorded dialogue is intact.

Ah, okay - some people have missed out on some big events like Jedi-training and whatnot, so, wasn't sure if you had. There were supposed to be TRAINING MONTAGES and there weren't? More than anything, that makes my soul weep.

The animations aren't really a problem except for a couple areas. Restoring the dialogue isn't really a problem. Actually getting all the cut-scenes and everything to work and in correct order and in the correct areas, however, well, yeah. More and more keeps popping up. Well, I don't think it can really be called official, but there are plenty of people working this stuff out. I'm going through the dialogues and voice clips and trying to arrange things so that they make some kind of sense. We should have something more solid to work on/talk about in a week or so.

Heh. You *can* turn them into Jedis in-game. I didn't get the opportunity for combat training with Visas, though I read that part too. The force-forms teaching isn't in, either.

Actually, HK-47 never sides with G0-T0, in one possible scenario in the voice acting, it could've been pretend, but I'm pretty sure that's a flashback, since Goto speaks about him planning on using HK-47 to build future generations, according to the voice-acted parts. The HK-50s do in one or two scenes, but then reveal that they can't harm HK-47 in any ways, and thus side with their original. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He does say that he's hunting the remote: I don't know if those three lines are faked, or alternate, or what. They look more alternate-based-on LS/DS or maybe Influence or maybe something else entirely, because otherwise it's hard to fit all or most of the dialogue together - there's no line joining them to the point where the HKs all reveal that they're not working for G0T0. I don't see where they'd fit in as a flashback. Statement: Come out, little one. I promise I will end you quickly, without a single lingering charge remaining in your behavior core. {Evil, hunting}Statement: Hiding from me is useless.
