Bitterness? Holy hell. It is a little bizarre that that'd appear, yeah. Weird.

I'm really quite calm. My pulse is as slow as the pacing of "Capote." My veins have sunken so deeply into my flesh from lack of use that my doctor hasn't been able to find my veins for years, which interferes greatly with my weekly leeching.

So, okay, you live on the internet for a while, and you get plenty of guys making genuine sexist remarks. You learn to ignore them or briefly mock them and move on. You live on it for a while longer, and there are a few guys who like to make "sexist" remarks - chock full o' irony, they are! And then suddenly they breed or something, because there's like millions of them all over the place, eager to show that they're either funny-yet-anti-sexist or so-super-offensive-they-can-piss-people-off-by-saying-things-that-are-offensive or aware-enough-of-sexism-that-they-can-apathetically-make-such-remarks-but-not-super-aware-enough to-acknowledge-the-existence-of-the-other-million-guys-doing-the-same-thing. So you reply to some of them still, but playing along with the game gets old fast, because you've already played that game a lot, and just rolling your virtual li'l eyeballs also gets old fast, because it results in people realizing that you are, in fact, a Monstrous Feminazi With No Sense Of Humor. And when your cover is blown all over the internet, splattered like goo of a sort, if you will, what *are* you going to do ? Start over with a new identity? That's great until you realize that 90% of the people on the board are your former alts - in fact, the whole freaking internet is littered with them because this has happened so many times. It's like the dead spaceship place at the end of that game, I mean the end of that movie - NO SPOILERS. Honestly, nothing personal, it's just a game I really don't have time for any more. Time like I spent composing this reply. Whoops.

I don't think adding adding Nihilus to stand around and, um, suck would really add much value to the scene. In any case, I'm pretty sure we've discovered all the cut content - and we are not looking for suggestions for new content, just to make everything clear.

We haven't found anything related to Atris to restore, sorry. There's pretty much just her Evil Queen From Snow White costume, which we considered restoring. However, people on the boards said they preferred her regular three-inches-of-foundation look, so we're sticking with that. What do you mean *even*?

MacLeod: We'll answer the questions when we're done with the project, since some of them require us to be, um, done. You may need to remind us at that point, maybe not. metadigital: A *book*? I suppose I could stretch this stuff out a bit... yes, yes, tweak the truth a little... maybe some of the team members are e-fighting, maybe some are e-sleeping together, maybe some are fighting over that... maybe after going 43 hours without sleep, someone will be convinced that Kreia is talking to them in their dreams and that begins an entire new quest... oh, yes, realities merging... drama... to say NOTHING of Revan's Secret Compartment... hmm, yes, I'll get back to you on this.

Occasional blonde, sure. Prefer pink or purple, but I've been blonde for the past few months since I'm going to have to head out into the Real World and find a Real Job soon and they tend to complain about unconvential hair colors. I hate the Real World, except for the fact that yes, it has non-dairy coffee creamers (powder form, please). We're restoring as much as possible. There are sections where we've had to add and edit stuff because not everything's there, but we can make it work by using droids or alien V/Os or, ah, well, datapads if it comes to that. And yes, there are sections where we can't make it work at all because there's simply not enough v/o. For example, we can't restore The Droid Planet was

I'm pretty much done with school and graduation stuff now and my internet is working again, so once I get everything reinstalled and working here (ha!) I have at least a week, maybe two or even three, where I can work on the project. Yay. Work. Apologies to all the people who emailed or PMed me and received no reply - I have been very busy with what I mentioned above, among other things. However, please keep these things in mind before you try to contact me: 1) If it's anything about the project - please read this thread or the forums. We'll share what we know about progress, about the hosting of the website, whatever. We're not deliberately trying to keep things from you people - well, except for when we are to build up SUSPENSE, but if we're not sharing something with everyone else because we don't know or for other reasons, I'm not going to tell you even if you ask really nice. 2) If it's about the mods I have hosted on icelus.net, particularly the influence tweak: please note that I no longer have access to that domain. I will attempt to regain access to edit that page or just to take it down. a. If you want influence, get Xcom's Mind Probe mod if you don't mind DS points, or the KOTOR Savegame Editor to just edit the heck out of your influence. The 100-influence override is screwed up anyway. b. On how to use the mods: create a file named "Override" in your KOTOR2 directory and add each file you want. It says to do this in the readmes. 3) If it is to thank us, thank you for the appreciation. I know that since we're all doing this on our own free time and effort I shouldn't have to apologize for how long it's going to take: but I know that it must seem like it's taking rather long, and I'm sorry. Just be reassured that this project is going to be as high-quality and complete as we can make it, and that it will not become vaporware. 4) I would rather that people not add me to their MSN lists just to thank me or just for the heck of it, though. If you have something to ask that you haven't seen covered anywhere else or that you're still confused about, okay. We certainly haven't been able to answer every question - in general, if we have an answer we try to, but there's a lot going on. Yeah, if anyone spots actual spelling errors on the site, we would like to know. metadigital, thanks for posting that. Being a pretend-celebrity still excites the heck out of me. Soooooo, after finals, yes, things should pick up again. I'm personally also in the middle of graduation and finding a Real Life Job (ha!) and moving, so it might take longer for me to get back to work (not that I've been doing much lately, obviously). Anyway, thanks for the continued support and cheerleading in general, and sorry again that we can't toss out any kind of solid deadline.

Yes: either Juhani or Belaya mentions "spending nights under the stars" with each other, Belaya becomes enraged if you kill Juhani, says some mushy stuff, and joins the Sith Academy on Korriban, determined to kill you (I don't know if that part's in the game since I never killed Juhani, but it's in the dialogue files), on Korriban, one of the Sith archaeologists sputters and mentions their old relationship to Juhani, he says he had a crush on her but she always rejected him, if you talk to her she says she had no feelings for him, etc, and never did, and if you play LS female and don't do the Carth romance, she has a few lines near the end of the game about having feelings for you. There was a bug where you got those lines as male, though.

Yes, that was the excuse given by the developers about why there are no gay romances in K2 (although fake-lesbian titillation, sure, why not?). I'd be more inclined to believe that, although I'd still think it was a poor excuse, if K2 held strongly to the SW theme in other areas. In opposition to the movies, K2 was filled with sex (yeah, imagine Han talking about how he's totally going to pick up some whores), and and utter hopeless despair (no matter what you do, everywhere you go, even if you save everything everywhere, you're ultimately screwed), and sexual euphemisms (what IS that hydrospanner obsession?), and people actually being affected by killing millions of people (y'know, feeling more than a little bad), and also had very very little cheese. Sure, I loved the game. But it's not very much Star Wars, it just happens to take place in the same universe. K1 had a much stronger SW theme and still the (admittedly rather subtle) fact that Juhani was a lesbian didn't flicker that for me.

X-Box Live will not work with this, afaik. Modded X-Boxes will be required, or else people will have to buy the PC version.

The Batu Rem quest will be altered but we don't really have a way to "complete" it. We are making this mod for the PC, however, we're also looking into what we'll need to change in order to release it for the X-Box. We're fairly certain we'll be able to do an X-Box release, but it may come after the PC release.
