  1. nope, my appologies man. The international versions are created completelly sepparate from the english version, Lucas sends the code to someone they trandlate the text and they add their own voice overs. there is just way too much vocal and text to have "all" languages in there. it would prolly take another 3 CD's. sorry man, maybe you can take it to best buy and trade it in lol, something liek that.
  2. KotOR 1 had more issues initially, but the patches quickly began to fix it, It was perfect by patch 1.02, but (for me) 1.03 totally trashed it. IMO, KotOR 1, was more unplayable initially, and I even get MORE FPS in K2, and I think it even looks 3 times better, on my PC anyway. So I suppose if your PC isn't exactly like mine then you wouldn't know what I am talking about.
  3. Well I do have some problems with fog effects and I have an Asus 6800 Ultra running at 570/1.2... Then again, I run on the highest settings at 1280*1024 so if it slows down for a few seconds, I don't really care too much. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> woah buddy... 470? or 570? woah?!?!
  4. I don't expext the pirated copy to work, just wondering if anybody used one, better buggy and free than buggy and paid for. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> heh, the pirated copy i downloaded works better than the one i bought at best buy, ha... how disgusting is that?
  5. got to the NVIDIA display options and into "Performance & Quality Settings" then click on "image settings" and change that to at-least "Quality" anything below that will mess up the lightsabers.
  6. you are one brave soul to try and run lh4074 on a laptop, my goodness, i have reinsatlled that crap so manytimes, lol, anyway sorry for being offtopic, but weird the game should work wonders on the 9600m... hmm ati, ati, when will ati learn.... just make it work you guys.
  7. I really took it as "Stop Bugging Us" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> wait, wait.... shouldn't THAT be what we are saying??? :D and if you didn't get that....
  8. ha, -50 bucks? are you joking? btw, no offense ment it's just funny, I mean the game costs 50 bucks it's self, it's a game, do you seriously think that you can buy a video card that will "run" this game is going to be anywhere near the same price? Technically, if you're lucky you "could" find one for 50-100 bucks that hypothetically "may" work, but don't push your luck. You are better off getting one off newegg.com or some other online (not retail) store, I assure you that it is possible to get a mediocre g-card for about half the price online than BB, I should see if this game'll run on my parent's pc, they have a 5200. I built the pc for them, so it "should" work, but as most of us know, this game wasn't made well...
  9. Thanks for the info. I just checked the specs for my psu and I have 18amps on the 12v rail, that could be a bit low. Anyone know if this could have damaged my gfx card permanently or will it work as it should again if I upgrade the power supply. I know it could be hard to know but your best guess would be appreciated. Cheers! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> buy a new PSU before you fry everything, when the power shuts off it is a bad sign, if it continues to do this during one of the power suges your hard drive could even be wiped, so please get a new one, something like Thermaltake, and atleast a 420W one. They even sell these in Best Buy now.
  10. you still didn't say the brand of the PSU, just because it's 400watts does not mean that it'll work really well on a highend system, you get what you pay for, if you want a high quality PC you definatelly need to get a high quality PSU.
  11. What PSU do you have? If your PC just turns straight off as if you home was struck my lightning and you power is severed and all lights go off... then your PSU is not conducting enough energy for your, probably overclocked, demanding PC. Tell me: brand and wattage, and I'll tell you wether or not it's the PSU.
  12. It probably just brings the International Versions of KOTOR 2 up to version 242. There are two versions of Sith Lords currently available for retail: -2.00.424 and -2.00.412 (I think). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> :"> well hey atleast they did something! thats good enough for me.
  13. (w00t) sadly, there is "a" patch but so far it's only for international versions, including the UK, go here, there is NO description so I don't have a clue that it does!!! http://www.3dgamers.com/games/swknightsrepublic2/downloads/
  14. i can do 1600x1200 Kotor won't go any higher than that, belive me, my monitor can do 2304x1440, but kotor won't lol.
  15. I'm pretty sure there's a way to do it in windows somewhere, but I don't remember, otherwise there are Programs out there like Partition Magic
  16. sadly, the only "safe" way to install SP2 is immediatelly after a fresh install of XP, otherwise programs will or may become unusable. Even if a program is installed following the install of SP2, and SP2 wasn't installed immediatelly after XP, the problem still occurs. (in other words, you had the computer runing for weeks/months/years before installing SP2) yeah it's annoying, but it happens. My best advice for this sort of situation, and in which you definatelly do not want to reformat (which most people don't, lol) I would create a new partition and put xp on that as well, and use that one for games, or whatever progs don't work now.
  17. No dice dude.. my lil ole 7500 refuses to run this game. I've tried EVERYTHING suggested at every message board I can find regarding this game and it's done. Guess I've got 4 coasters now.. cause this game's useless as t*ts on a bull as it stands.. EB told me today that I can't return it either, since it's not defective.. I'll bring it to them in pieces tomorrow and tell them to shove "defective" up their collective *sses. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well man, you really cannot expect to run a game that says that your graphics card is not supported to work. you can get one that will work for barrelly any money, I think you should look into that.
  18. Just Bumpin this baby, to let others get some help! :D
  19. the same, just replacing. yep, that's what ATI calls it.
  20. I really don't know specifically, but I think just the plain 4.2 cats. will do, i think.
  21. arg... It has something to do with the 7500, erg... um well why don't you guys try the 4.2's out for a test drive? they should work, maybe, well they should if kotor2 will start up at all. hemm. try that maybe
  22. hmmm, now you aren't on a laptop are you? cause normal ATI drivers won't install onto laptops, though i'm sure Omega has modified a version of the 4.9 and i'll look into that. well here's an Omega version of the 4.9's maybe that'll work, but make sure you install the 8.07 beta patch afterward, other wise it'll be pointless Omega 4.9
  23. just go here man: an it's my topic :D goooood luck!
  24. try and check out my topic and see what happens go here: my topic
