Well I am spoiled with a top of the line "Desktop Replacement Laptop" So I run KOTOR 2 with no slowdowns at 1280x1024 with everything at high textures. I do 4AA Antialiasing, and Antistropy at 2xs I think. So yes it runs on a laptop. ECS-736 Laptop Dual 3Ghz Processors 1Gb RAM 60Gb HDD 52x8 CD/DVDRW WINLonghorn 4074beta ATI Radeon 9600 128Mb VRAM ( I did have problems at first with this card but I used the DNA3652 drivers and now the game runs perfect on my laptop)

After 5 hours of tweaking and reinstalling I have got it to work under 2 sets of variables. WinXP with DNA3.6.5.1 drivers installed on "High" and "Doom3" mode Win Longhorn with DNA3.4.4.1 on "normal" with Omega version 4.11 atiogxx.dll in the SWKOTOR2 directory. Don't ask how I got it to work or why I tried that combo, because I dunno I really wanted to play this damn game and somehow these settings worked. Have fun! I bet the DNA3.6.5.1 will work with Lonhorn too but I tried the weird settings with longhorn first in case I messed something up. Since longhorn is not my primary OS obviously. I hope this helps some of you guys...

UPDATE: Tried DNA 3.4.4.11 drivers and still EXACT same problem in XP trying in Longhorn now...

Longhorn 4074 actually works FLAWLESSLY on my laptop. Actually it was the only way I could play KOTOR 1 which is why I tried it this time. It also ran DOOM 3 faster as well as The FFXI bencmark. But I couldn't get the Full FFXI to work in longhorn. Off topic also but I'm bored still looking for a solution so I thought I'd reply

I have been able to play the game off and on. However when there is a Video change (going from >MOVIES<->GAMEPLAY<->MENU< in any order the game randomly crashes. I quicksaved often and am able to play for hours at a time. However I just defeated HK-50 and when I go to leave PERAGUS and go to the HARBINGER the game locks up and crashes EVERYTIME. Even when I re-load the AUTOSAVE or go back to an earlier save and play back up to that point. I have done everything from placing all SETTINGS (graphical and audio) to MINIMUM and MAXIMUM BOTH IN GAME AND VIA DISPLAY PROPERTIES. I have also COMPLETELY REINSTALLED all VIDEO Drivers 3 times over. I have used the latest 5.2 Catalyst drivers, I have used the OMEGA drivers (newest version I forget number), I have even used the PATJE ones which didnt work at all. I have also had the same problem in WINDOWS LONGHORN 4074 with all sets of drivers as well... Everytime I did a driver reinstall I also did a full registry wipe of all drivers and used CAB CLEANER and DRIVER CLEANER. I have also REINSTALLED the game 2 TIMES... Can someone PLEASE HELP? I thought I could fix this problem myself but I am unable to find a solution... LUCASARTS PLEASE PUT OUT A PATCH. This game looks great otherwise!
